Ivan Reis delivers his best cover on this series since the first issue, but the writing is getting further from the brilliance where this series began. Putting Mitch in Arkham Asylum was a brilliant move, but Abnett and Lanning don't really take full advantage of the situation they put him in. Instead of being the main plotline of this issue, Arkham serves only as the antagonistic force preventing Mitch's true escape after being whisked away from the forces seeking him out. This issue arrives a little bit out of context and thus more or less non-sequitur to the rest of the series thus far. There is a decent concept behind it, that of a non-crazy person stuck in Arkham Asylum, but it more or less suffers from the common problem with Gotham - superpowers feel out of place. Mitch makes his way through various levels of the Asylum reaching finally to the highest security area. After spending most of the issue fighting back psychological torments he finally gets a ch...

what I predict the next issue of Green Arrow will be like 0
The reason for the oblique title for this review is that this issue of Resurrection Man is a good example of how to start off a good arc after a crappy one. While I stated that Andy Lanning and Dan Abnett didn't know where they were going with the story, here it seems they've decided to lay off the wackiness and ground things for once. I'm sure fans of this book who were expecting more supernatural and sci-fi stuff are going to be disappointed but I think as long as this book plays out the suspe...
