Nobody Is Normal Here
The Good: There's a pretty interesting perspective on the cover. It doesn't completely work, but it doesn't fail as much as the previous two covers.
The artwork is great, as usual, and I have a lot to say about it, but for starters, the first page has an absolutely excellent establishing shot. Once again though, it's very similar to the actual cover, just infinitely more interesting and artistic.
Once again, the action in this issue is seriously awesome. The panel layouts are just a bit chaotic in a great way, like the action is so fierce it's actually shaking the panels themselves. Everything is really dynamic as well.
There's a lot of really interesting twists all around in this issue once things settle down.
The dialogue is definitely fantastic.
The Bad: My old enemy the useless annoying panty shot is back, though only one time. And actually there's at least two times where a blatantly obvious panty shot is actually deliberately AVOIDED. THAT is actually commendable.
I felt like the Transhuman's twist came too rushed at an awkward pacing.
In Conclusion: 4.5/5
It's odd, I have very little to say about this issue, but I absolutely loved it. This is such a stellar series. It's unique and interesting and very well written. The art is awesome and suits the book amazingly well. The action is dynamic and awesome, the dialogue is fantastic, the plot is intriguing. Just about everything is top notch here. Just a little bit of polish and it'd be a perfect series. But don't let that stop you, it's pretty much as good as comic books get.
