Daniel comes from a broken family that constantly moved from home to home. They eventually ended up in Hong Kong where his parents decided to call it home until their divorce a couple of years later. At the age of 18, Daniel decided that he would live on his own and try to make a life for himself his parents were divorced and moved back to the states. He stayed in Hong Kong working odd jobs and still trying to find his way in life. Seeing that he was getting nowhere, he decided to leave and explore the back country of China. There he met Master Cheng, who was a Shaolin Monk, and his family who would help change his life forever and finally give him the direction in life that he needed. Master Cheng took Daniel under his wing and taught him martial arts for the next couple of years and he also taught him the value of honor, courage and loyalty. Daniel finally had the father figure in Master Chang and a normal family setting that he longed for. This would all come to an end one fateful cold December night while Daniel was collecting firewood. Master Cheng and his family were brutally murdered by a Crime Lord that was there to take a rare family jewel known as the Eternal. Since that fateful night, Daniel has vowed to seek revenge on the people responsible and avenge the deaths of the Cheng Family. The only lead he had was a ring left behind with the initials SE. After his loss, he decided to go back to his hometown in Los Angeles and be with the only other person that was family to him, his sister. She had been dating to his childhood friend Jax for a few years, who were planning to get married the following summer. Daniel got into a relationship that only lasted a few years and had twins with his girlfriend, but that relationship ended on a very sour note. The battle to see his kids began and has been ongoing, and one that would begin to take its toll on his health.

Finances eventually led to a career change for Daniel. He decided to use his street smarts and martial arts training to make quite a name for himself as a hired hand in the trading business by getting people whatever they needed. He found out quickly that bigger game brought in bigger paychecks. After several close calls with the authorities and hardcore criminals, he decided that he needed to keep his identity safe if he wanted to try and live a somewhat normal life. He later took on a more professional role and became the man known as Repo: Thief for Hire. Whatever the item, there was never a job too big… for the right price. Repo was the one to call. He began to work with the criminal leader known as Zuna who used deadly tactics along with Repo’s special talents to take control of the East Coast. He is also trying to take control of the rest of the US through obtaining secrets on political runners in every state. By doing this, he would have full control of his illegal operations without interference of any law enforcement agency. Repo also worked with Don Cortes who controls all of the illegal operations in the West Coast. By working for both crime lords, Repo was caught in the middle of the feud between the two and began to put himself in risky situations and decided to cut ties with Zuna. One night Zuna caught up with Repo when precious and rare jewels went missing. Repo had shown interest in the jewels after learning of its rare qualities, and this made Zuna suspicious. He personally paid Repo a visit and demanded that he give back the jewel but Repo knew nothing of it. Zuna always gets what he wants and this time he was not going to leave empty handed. Having had enough, Zuna took Repo’s life…or so he thought. Lying there on the verge of death, Repo was found just outside his shop by his right hand man Jax who quickly took Repo to the hospital. After a night at the hospital the doctors gave Repo and Jax the news that he had a very rare form of heart disease but the doctors could not tell him how much time he had. Knowing that the proper medical attention could not save him, Repo decided that his only chance of living would be to find a cure using something that he came across while getting some very rare stem cell’s for the lab that is controlled by the very man that tried to take his life…Zuna.
