Having left little doubt as to who could be the one that Atrocitus would release from the all consuming rage, this issue focuses mostly on Bleez.  The internal dialogue at the beginning of her mind putting together aspects of her old self was well handled, but more so was the interaction between her and Atrocitus which basically covered the remainder of the issue.  This is essentially one of the first introductions of Bleez to the DC Universe after having been almost immediately turned into a Re...

The Good: Bleez raises a lot of good philosophical points. Was she better off in mindless rage, not being forced to know the horrific memories that led her to that state? Is intelligence a gift or a curse? Sometimes simple life is a happier life. And what is better? A simple death of mindless rage, or maybe an elongated torture? Which one represents rage? Milligan's Red Lanterns Just Aren't My Red Lanterns 0

Peter Milligan continues his exploration of anger in Red Lanterns, and it unfortunately has really begun to read more like a long-winded, illustrated thesis than a compelling and exciting comic series.I think the Red Lantern Corps is my favorite of the colored corps, and i know Atrocitus is one of my favorite characters of the Geoff Johns era of the Green Lantern franchise.
