    You hunger for love

This series impressed so much at the beginning because of the interesting moral dilemmas which it posed.  Unfortunately as it progressed it delved a bit too much into the human side of the Red Lanterns with the addition of Rankorr.  Following that though it picked up a bit of momentum however as simply a cosmic based series about the destruction of the Red Lantern Corps.  That is basically where this issue starts and ends, with some resolution for multiple characters as to their place in the Corps and future of the Corps.  I was not very happy about one development as I thought the opposite outcome would have allowed that character to grow substantially more, but in the end, this just ends up being an entertaining if otherwise mostly pretty standard cosmic based story.

It particularly seemed weirdly out of place and not very distinct on the last few pages. There is a panel (or 2) that links what’s happening in this series to what’s going on in Green Lantern but that does nothing in the way of saving this train wreck of an issue.Dislikes:The issue in general. There’s more...

Miguel Sepulveda seems to have lost his touch on seemingly generic covers. This is is just generic, it doesn't 'work' in the way the Stormwatch covers did. The two brutes are shoved in to take up all the space, and the yellow sky clashes a bit awkwardly. And it barely looks like they're really 'fighting,' Abysmus (who looks like a mutated pit bull here) is just grabbing Atrocitus and they're yelling at each other.I LIKE Miguel Sepulveda on interiors... I just think he's a terrible fit on Red Lan...
