A new Canidate for the race for Crown?
A great issue for any Inhumans fan the best issue of the entire run. I admit even though I am a die hard Inhumans fan I have enjoyed this run but have not been crazy about it like previous Inhuman runs. I believe that is mostly due to the fact that until now most of the previous issues have been mostly talking. Not just normal comic book chatter but fool on heavy multiple paragraphs on each page of heavy political banter. But this book o boy this is a good book for anyone who is a fan of Classic Inhumans. Even though I think Abnett talks to much and uses to big of words for a comic I truly enjoy his writing.
The Story is truly great! We follow up on Gorgon battling the Destructoid threat that was released by the rogue Kree as well as the Alpha Primitive threat which is great for old school Inhuman readers like myself. The relationship between Ronan and Crystal grows deeper and more passionate in this book and Abnett is very talented at just inch by inch strengthening there bond in a very unique style you have to read to see. The tension between the Kree and the Inhumans grows thicker but the Kree's respect for Gorgon grows but faith in the rest of the royal family grows smaller. Medusa grows more into her position as Queen and has a far more aggressive personality than ever before. We have an appearance from someone very special to the Inhumans in this book if you know what I mean. The end of this book is what steals the show the end was totally unsuspected and had me in a mix of did that just happen? and jumping with joy. Any old school Inhumans fans will go estatic for the end of this book. I give this a 5 out of 5 and a must read for any Inhuman fan.
