Raven first appears in a surveillance mission, witnessing the Mishima Honmaru, with Heihachi and Kazuya inside, being invaded by several Jack-4 units. He watches as Kazuya leaves Heihachi behind to be blown up by an explosion caused by said units. Later, as he hears about the fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament, he is ordered to enter with the objective of finding out who is behind the event's creation. He is surprised to find out Heihachi during the tournament. After a clash between the two, Raven was about to get the upper hand of the confrontation, until he is ordered to retreat.
After Jin Kazama wins the tournament and becomes head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, a worldwide confrontation takes place, and only got worse when Kazuya Mishima's G-Corporation decided to rise against the Zaibatsu. In order to prevent further losses, Raven enters the sixth tournament in order to investigate the Zaibatsu.
In the Scenario Campaign, he follows Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Bosconovitch, and eventually aids the duo in invading the Zaibatsu by confronting the guard robot NANCY-MI847J. After Alisa betrays Lars, Raven becomes his partner throughtout the rest of the story. They later go on to confront the evil entity Azazel. After that, they go on to fight Alisa, and lastly, Jin Kazama. After all that, Raven returns once again to share some final words to Lars, as well as his late comrade's tag. He appears a last time in the post-credits scene, Raven and his colleagues find Jin half-buried in the sand.
Raven is set to be replaced by his superior, Master Raven, who shares both his moves and the moves from the Soul Calibur character, Taki.
