    Character History

    Rapture was a part of Cerebro's team of X-Men created in order to "catalog and store" all mutants on Earth. In addition to being able to fly on account of her wings, Rapture wielded a sword.

    As a synthetic creation of Cerebro, Rapture was a combination of mutants Nightcrawler, Mystique and Angel.
