    Origin

    Little is known about Puwallip, save that she was the daughter of the tribal chief of the Duwamish and was promised in marriage to Dahoka.

    Creation

    Puwallip was created by Steven T. Seagle and Teddy Kristiansen. She made her first appearance in House of Secrets #7.

    Major Story Arcs

    House of Secrets

    After Tohanan kills a Haida brave to defend Duwamish land and is bound to a rock for ten days as exile, Puwallip cares for him. She gives herself to him, and they marry. Shortly after Tohanan becomes chief through this marriage Dahoka steals their young son and murders him. After he is bound in exil Puwallip sets him on fire. Much later, she urges her husband to undo the sale of the Duwamish land to Mr. Reichuss, resulting in Tohanan's death. Her fate is unknown.
