    Punisher Max #11

The Bullseye arc concludes with Frank's assault on Kingpins headquarters, culminating with the confrontation between Frank and Bullseye we've all been waiting for.

    The Good
    Love the cover

Bullseye has cracked the enigma that is Frank Castle, and just in time for the big confrontation we've all been waiting for. Bullseye's hilarious prayer to God before things kicks off serves to perfectly underscore this issue. To call this fight brutal would be like describing World War II as a minor misunderstanding. The moment you see them stumble upon abandoned construction equipment you know business is about to pick up. From beginning to end this fight is excellent and satisfyingly visceral. The highlight moment is bar none Bullseye's unconventional approach to counter attacking. The weapon he uses to turn the tables on Frank is truly bizarre and highly effective.

As usual Bullseye's a delight to read. He's really stolen this series from Castle. Every moment in this comic with him is a delight. From his opening prayer to his attempts to have a friendly chat with Frank during their no holds barred brawl is as hilarious as it is disturbing. One of my favorite moments is when he uses a nameless henchman as a pawn to draw out Frank during the construction zone portion of their battle. Sledge hammer-1, human skull-0.

Though this issue's light on dialog there is some good dialog towards the end in which Bullseye whispers something to Frank which rattles him enough to make him lose his will to fight. What is it that Bullseye could've said that made him freeze up like that?

    The Bad
Despite it being his title, The Punisher continues to feel like a guest star. Hopefully now that Aaron's established two excellent antagonists for Frank he can move on to flesh out the Man Himself.

    The Verdict
    BUY This Comic!!!
This arc has been one hell of a ride and Aaron and Dillon end it on a superb note. The way this issue ends I can't wait to see how the damage inflicted upon both Frank's mind and body will affect him. Not to mention that whole being captured by the cops thing as well.
