When U.S. Marine veteran Frank Castle's family's was murdered for witnessing a mob hit, the man vowed to avenge their deaths and became a one-man army in his personal war against the criminal underworld. With a distinct death's head skull adorning his chest, Frank Castle became the vigilante known as the Punisher.
No. None of the movies did the Punisher justice. The first two movies were altered so much that the protagonist didn't even seem like the Punisher. The third movie just seemed bad.
Well the three movies have many flaws... a lot of them. My favorite it's still Dolph Lundgren Punisher.
Thomas Jane - portrayed a drunk and depressive Punisher, who felt sorry for himself. Stevenson - Was by far the best Punisher physically but it didn't had the best director. I wonder how Stevenson will portray the character with the team of Netflix supporting him. Probably the best Punisher ever.
Dolph Lundgren didn't act like the character at all, throughout the film he looks like he's either bored out of his mind or he's about to fall asleep, he looks like a mix between a bum and a wannabe biker and he slurs his lines.
Thomas Jane's is too much of a drunk.
Ray Stevenson is atrocious, he's barely given any lines, but when he does say something, he flubs every single one of them.
