Kendall Kirby is a world class gymnast who competed for her country when she was only 16 years old. Kendall surprised her team and coaches, quickly moving up from a reserve to a favorite to medal in the Olympic games. Unfortunately, in a preliminary round Kendall suffered a knee injury that kept her out of the rest of the competition. Lighthearted an spirited, Kendall wasn't devastated by the injury. Once she turned 18, Kendall applied for a position as a hero at Zero Technologies. Despite her youth, her athletic background and favor in the public eye persuaded the company to bring her aboard.
Kendall was fitted with a special pair of gauntlets that emit a bio-magnetic pulse that can disrupt the physiology of any living person, rendering them unconscious. Kendall chose the codename Pulser, and once her combat training was complete, she was added to Captain Zero's Cavaliers, become their youngest member ever.
