PS238 started as a comic done by Aaron Williams. It has shifted from comics to the web.
PS238 is an elementary school for children with super powers. Most of the characters are child versions or children of thinly disguised pastiche versions of famous superheroes, villians, or television characters (including Superman, Hulk, Doctor Doom, the Doctor (Dr. Who), etc) and other pastiches play recurring guest roles, such as the Revanant (not Batman, wink wink).
While various children play large roles, the main character is Tyler Marlocke, later known as Moon Shadow. Tyler is placed at the school even though he has no super-powers. But his parents are powerful superheroes and they are convinced he will have some when he gets old enough. He provides the stories with a common man perspective (well common child anyway).
