Prowl is logic, up and down. He won't hear of anything that can't be explained to him. Aside from English, his only language is FACT. This makes him somewhat of a stickler for details, which is why he is a perfect fit for the role of Autobot Military Stategist. This hard-nosed desire for details also minutely manifests itself in his day-to-day interactions, which number few. He is not quick to speak unless someone else says something that he does not understand and wants explained, or perhaps does not agree with. Prowl is not one for illogical thinking, as it can actually shut down his mind for a brief time if non-linear thinking is used too much. He has been known to compute the paths of 800 moving objects and determine the proper countermove for all of them in half a second. Prowl's weapons include shoulder-mounted missiles with incendiary properties and also a semi-automatic rifle that fires corrosive acidic projectiles. His vehicle form is a Datsun Fairlady 280ZX, modified to be a police car.

    Creation

Originally created for the toy line of Transformers, Prowl made his first appearance in the Transformers Miniseries in 1984. This was soon thereafter followed by a monthly series of the same name

    Prowl helps capture Megatron

Prowl was one of the security forces on Cybertron. When a ship taking Megatron and other prisoners was commandeered and used to attack Senator Decimus, wounding but not killing him, Prowl would report it to Sentinel Prime who would simply tell Prowl to find a way to deal with it. Prowl would later find videos of illegal underground fights going on in Kaon and report it. He would also be part of a team sent in to capture Megatron and other rebels when Megatron was making his speech across Kaon. Much later, after Sentinel Prime is killed by Megatron, Prowl has everyone pull out of Kaon.

Prowl, Ironhide, and Sunstreaker apprehends Ratchet

Prowl, along with Ironhide and Sunstreaker comes to Ratchet’s aid when he’s under attack by Thundercracker. Afterwards, Prowl apprehends Ratchet for violating rules and going against orders. When they return to the Autobot base, Ratchet tries to justify his actions but Prowl says he broke protocol by making direct contact with a native species. Ratchet tries to explain the situation but Prowl still questions why he felt it was necessary to have intervened and risked exposing them all in the first place. Ratchet then tries to say that their purpose on Earth is to save lives, even if it’s just one at a time, but Prowl says his actions have only put more humans in danger. He then tells Ratchet that the only reason he hasn’t been put in the brig is because of the info that is possibly on the data storage device the humans brought with them. He tells Ratchet to work with the humans to get the data downloaded and analyzed and then to get rid of them. Ratchet then asks Prowl if he’s going to alert Optimus but he responds by saying that the situation doesn’t seem bad enough that they’d need to call him yet. After Ratchet and the humans explore the Decepticons’ Nebraska bunker, he reports to Prowl that they seem to have found an energon substitute called ore-13 and that Megatron seems to be having trouble keeping his house in order. After hearing this, Prowl leads a team of Autobots to the Nebraska bunker with the intention of making sure that nothing that occurs in that area spreads out. Upon arriving, Prowl saves Bumblebee from Runabout and the Decepticons leave the Autobots alone, with Megatron telling them “Phase 2”. As they return to the base, Prowl realizes that the situation on Earth has escalated and decides to call in Optimus Prime, only to learn he had already arrived.

Prowl is a Scout Class playable character and enemy, he is also a 2-5 star rank character.

Game Bio: He may look like your friendly neighborhood cop on patrol, but check under the hood and he’s 100% military-trained police on a mission to serve and protect. He’s a trusted strategist and friend of Optimus Prime, but he’s decidedly less friendly to those who don’t follow protocol…his protocol.

Prowl was released on May 18th, 2017.
