    Artistically, the movie was gorgeous. Scott managed to transform a new generation into another Giger-esk world full of primitive wonders and horrors. But I have a major bone to pick with this film in that it answered nothing. I don't think it was strong enough to hold up on it's own either without some heavy connection to the franchise. It made me feel cheated. One might almost ask, "What's the point then? Why even revisit the Alien theme if you're just going to obscure the lens with mud?" Is it...
