"Zeon, digame " Ziccarra said propped up high on Zeon's shoulders to prevent her niece from using her legs to reverse the pin.
"I-I do not think we are dead..." she said, watching the energy swirl around just like it did when she was a child.
"Can you see the energy? Can you feel the pain...?" Ziccarra asked before turning back to her niece. "I am going to let you up, but so help me Goddess, if you attack me I will end you" She threatened before moving off the Rage Cardinal and scooting far enough back to foresee a would be attack.
"We I was a child, I saw my father experimenting with Dimension Crafting, I did not understand it then, but now I believe It is action. Grand Cardinal Isle is a Dimension, and so is Cardinal Hell. Zeon we are in hell, not limbo. We' were tricked into believing it because we could not feel pain...but I think the facade is weakening somehow."
"We have been fighting for so long, I cannot remember when we started. Not how we ended up here...but when did this conflict between us begin?" She was referring to the battle that they had in Malaga which kicked this entire fight off.
"I understand if you do not trust me. But I cannot fight you any longer. I have to find him."
The Liafador Franchise utilized her strong leg muscles in tandem with her peak flexibility to prop herself high between to buildings in a narrow alley. "Hmmm" She pondered aloud. The dynamics of this fight quickly begin to change, a fact that became apparent now. Previously they'd been unable to grasp anything in the 'real' world but here she was now with her feet propped on both walls.
In addition to the new discovery, she also discovered the recently accrued pain was starting to linger in areas Zeon previously attacked her. Though the beacon of rage had yet to seemingly notice the small sparks of fading red energy in the sky.
"W-where, have I seen this before" She grunted her forehead nurturing her wounds from earlier.
"Papá, ¿qué es esa extraña energía?" The only child allowed inside Ramon's laboratory was Ziccarra, it wasn't because deep father-daughter bond that he allowed this; Ziccarra was simply his "lab-rat" His experiments test the limits of his mental conditioning; as well as determined the limits of Ziccarra's Psionic potential.
"How many times have I told you, to speak English? If you are to carry out your mission, you will have to speak in English. Sometimes I wonder if we kept the right one." His voice trailed off toward the end forcing the 9-year-old Ziccarra to enter further inspecting her father's latest experiment.
"Do you believe the stories your mother preaches, about Grand Cardinal Isle?" Her father asked his astute focus on his work kept his eyes trained on the honing of his own energies.
"I.Do.Papa." Ziccarra replied with hindered English trying to wrap her mind around what exactly her father was doing.
"Well soon, there will be a world where the Bad Cardinals go. Here they will be punished for sins against the religion. They will stay here...until I deem them ready to return."
"A world? papa?"
Her eyes scanned the surrounding area that same energy she saw her father producing as a child littered the atmosphere around them now it made sense.
"Of course...this is his world..." Somehow, Ziccarra's father manage to create some sort of pocket dimension. Depending on when the two actually entered the dimension they may or may not actually be dead.
"How?" She thought to herself, feeling her footing starting to give out. She had to think, where they could've entered the dimension from, any sort of external energy source would've immediately alerted Z to the dimensions existence unless. "The Pit..." They'd entered the Pit because of Ziccarra willingly took Zeon there.
It had no history because her father created it. It was somehow the portal to this world. Did that mean her meeting with Alexa was just a projection?
She didn't know, but for now, she had to find Zeon; somehow get on the same page and manage to escape this contraption. Just as her mind slipped to her enraged niece, Ziccarra saw her head pop around the corner. Ziccarra released herself from the wall free falling down toward the ground looking to use gravity and momentum to viciously plow Zeon into the ground hoping to Pinher down long enough to explain her recent revelation.
Ziccarra's immaculate eyebrows curled with interest as she watch Zeon recover. She could see the young Liafador progressively getting angrier, it was the only emotion Zeon ever channeled. It wasn't a secret Z felt responsible, Zeon didn't have a normal childhood, she was told she had to defend the family--and that she did. Ultimately it was Z who destroyed her sense of purpose, without ever actually thinking about the long-term effects; or how long it'd take Zeon to disconnect. She created this monster, and she had to be the one to end it.
"Is this..." Ziccarra started only to be tagged in the chin by Zeon's crushing left jab, staggering backward visibly disoriented she immediately threw her hands up to block what she thought was another strike toward her face; but she was wrong--a horrible miscalculation. Zeon's shin slammed into her ribcage, causing La Malaguena to inhale sharply. Under normal circumstances, Zeon's kick would've snapped her ribcage like a Twix, but the two were dead, most of the damage they'd already taken didn't exist anymore.
Rebounding, Z maneuvered into position to cut off Zeon's movements; she anticipated some sort of strike, one she hoped that could be countered into some sort of submission maneuver. It wasn't to be both fists slammed into Z's chin again forcing her backward, but as the Liafador Franchise rebounded, Zeon's swift flying knee smashed against her head forcing Ziccarra's body thru the window into the hostile Grimm City streets.
Blasting through the window Z rolled into a crouched position as many of the people were running in fear. "What the hell" she grunted breaking eye contact with Zeon for the time being.
Her niece transformed into quite the capable fighter over the years, but now she was without the aggressor ring, the anger that she naturally had wasn't being channeled into the destructive power that killed Z in the first place.
Smirking just a bit, Ziccarra stood in full form and took off sprinting intermixing herself with the hordes of other people running to completely lose Zeon. This was how she had to do it, to take what Zeon coveted the most. Breaking off about two blocks away, Ziccarra stashed herself in the lobby of a hotel.
She needed a moment to think about a few things, first what was going on in the city? Secondly, why were there sparks of energy flying from them with every attack they thru? and lastly why was she starting to feel...
Ziccarra's attack hit dead on forcing the former Cardinal of Rage to her back albeit momentarily. They both boasted an endless supply of vigor, the pain subsided within seconds there was literally no reason for them to fight.
But ever the resilient warrior as indicated by her practiced kip-up, Zeon once again prepared to attack; however, there was something different floating in the air. At first, it seemed as if it were connected to the real world until Ziccarra realized none of the people were reacting to it. "What is that?" She questioned as the small energy flares hiss off Zeon's body before dissipating into the air. She didn't notice it before but had it always been there.
Focus, it was something the both of them gained fighting in a world where nothing mattered. Ziccarra didn't have to worry about her children Zeon didn't have to worry about Chance, but this small intrusion was enough to penetrate Ziccarra's concentration.
Just as her eyes panned back to her enraged niece, Zeon's fist went slamming into her throat. Immediately grabbing her throat whilst back peddling Z tried to create distance, but Zeon was faster and focused. Her nieces Elbow smashed against her head depositing Ziccarra unceremoniously to the ground.
The ornate blemish from Zeon's elbow slowly began to fade, as again Ziccarra's eyes were on the energy flickering in the air between them. The throbbing pain became a quick reminder that Zeon was still the aggressor the entire family knew her to be.
Kicking her legs up before spinning into a 3 quarter roll, Ziccarra returned to a vertical base visibly ticked. Her pride taking a hit with each strike her Lioness of a niece threw.
Closing the distance between them The Queen sought to return the favor with a quick sloppy right elbow followed by a disrespectful slap in the face with her left hand, Continuing the focused attack, she'd kick low at Zeon's right shin in order to misdirect the purpose of her attack, but executing her signature pirouette with a backhand toward the face.
Channeling her famed flexibility Ziccarra saw to tuck jump almost like a ball whilst attempting to grab Zeon's arms as she fell to the ground just before her back made contact with the ground she'd kick her legs towards Zeon's chin hoping the added impact with the ground would cause for more damage. Even without her enhanced thinking ability, she anticipated a flaw so should Zeon manage to allude her latest gambit she'd simply hit the ground high on her shoulder blades and back roll into a crouch.
