@azrael1973: @static_shock: I think we would be applying too much of a no limits fallacy to assume that no other weapons can hurt them, when that hasn't been tested by a blade like Geralt's, which is specifically made to kill enemies who are not hurt by normal means. Just because it's called his silver sword, does not mean that it's made of silver either. There is silver in it, but it is mostly made from extraterrestrial materials found only in certain meteorites, which have magical properties that give the sword it's abilities to kill otherwise unkillavle creatures.
Should we assume Dr Strange couldn't kill them with his magic, just because he doesn't have those weapons? I know that's a stretch, but it's the same kind of exaggeration to say that Geralt's sword will not hurt creatures that require unique blades to be killed, when that's exactly what his blade is designed for.
Whether or not he has the skills to kill them may be another question, but I think it's too big of an assumption without any evidence to say his blade isn't up to the task.
