Captain America was the First Avenger and had impacted society in the 1940's while World War II was going on. Captain America stands for all of America and what Americans strive to be- patriotic, truthful, and heroic.
9. Iron Man
Iron Man is smart, suave, nice with ladies, and innovative something that everyone wants to be. He is the definition of cool. He has countless amounts of armors made to complete different tasks such as breathing underwater, breathing in space and going toe to toe with the Incredible Hulk.
8. The Hulk
The Hulk may very well be the strongest superhero of all time. He is an 8'7'' tall beast who has picked up Mjolnir, the hammer that only someone who has the worthiness of the Mighty Thor. He is also a brilliant scientist, Bruce Banner, when he isn't destroying or smashing something.
7. Wolverine
Wolverine is one of the most bad ass superheroes of all time. He may be small but he can sure pack a punch. He has claws that come out of his hands and he may be the angriest superheroes. He is plagued with amnesia and is constantly looking for who he was before project X which gave an adamantium skeleton.
6. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Although the movie might have been questionable, Hal Jordan is still one of the greatest superheroes ever. He has reignited the sun, killed almost the entire Green Lantern Corps., was the first human to be accepted into the Green Lantern Corps., and even teamed up with Daffy Duck once. He is sarcastic. powerful. headstrong, and disobedient, everything we love in superheroes.
5. The Flash (Barry Allen)
The Flash is the fastest man alive and can run so fast he can break the space/ time continuum. Thats pretty fast. The reason I put Barry and not Wally is because without Barry, Wally West would probably never have become the Flash.
4. Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is easily the best female character of all time. She is one of the biggest trio in comics history. She is super strong and has had training to become one of the best fighters of all time. She is one of the best superheroes and one of the most interesting.
3. Spiderman
Spiderman is one of the most relatable superheroes of all time. He has to go through the problems of high schools like girls, popularity, and bullies. At the same time he also has to fight a wide variety of villains who are all want to kill him. He is the best Marvel character ever.
2. Batman
Batman is the greatest detective and the best superhero without superpowers. Everyone knows who Batman is and they all have to admit that he is the embodiment of bad ass. Batman is playboy millionaire by day and by night he dresses up like a bat and protects the people of Gotham.
1. Superman
Superman is one of the most powerful superheroes of all time. He is the first superhero and his symbol is said to be the second most known symbol of all time behind the cross. Superman is the leader of the Justice League and is the face for good. Superman has done a lot in his time and he will probably continue to bring the values of truth, justice, and the American way to the world.
Man of Steel has been one of the most anticipated films of the year and I think that Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill brought a new, fresh Superman to the big screen. Sure there were some problems, but overall the movie did a great job. *Spoilers Ahead* What I'm going to talk about is the controversial ending it had, and by that I mean where Clark snaps Zod's neck. The first time I had watched I was taken off guard, because the Superman I had known before wouldn't have done this. Now the question is, was it the right thing to do?
I believe that it was. General Zod was about to cut a family in half with his heatvision so with quick thinking Clark snapped his neck. Clark had been raised as a simple farm-boy so he like most people couldn't bare to see an innocent father, mother and children obliterated. He had to make a choice and quickly. Some may argue thathe could've found another way to save the family, but when someone is put in his situation they don't have a lot of time think. Of course he had to kill Zod. Obviously this wasn't an easy thing to do because afterwards he kneeled (I guess he did kneel after Zod) and just yelled out in emotional pain.He had just cut off the chance of Krypton being able to be reborn. With the success of Man of Steel, a Justice League movie is highly anticipated. DC has announced that there will be a Superman/ Batman movie in 2015. Hopefully in the not too far future there will also be a Flash movie, a Wonder Woman, and maybe even a Green Lantern 2 or reboot. Here I will show who I believe should play the roles.
J'onn J'onzz/ Martian Manhunter- Idris Elba
Elba has an amazing and unique voice and will be iconic in the role of J'onn J'onzz. He is pretty tall and big enough to play the manhunter, so I think he would be a perfect choice.
Arthur Curry/ Aquaman- Armie Hammer
Hammer has proven to be a good actor and that he can do action. He has been offered the role of Batman in the past, a project that fell through. He certainly has the looks for Aquaman and I think he would do a perfect job.
Hal Jordan/ Green Lantern- Ryan Reynolds
Even though the movie wasn't all that great, Reynolds did a pretty good job at bringing Hal Jordan to the silver screen and I think he should reprise his role. He is trying to bring a Deadpool movie to the big screen so I don't think he has Green Lantern as his top priority.
Barry Allen/ The Flash- Chris Pine
Pine has shown he can take on an iconic role with his work with Star Trek and he also looks the part so he could be a perfect Flash. First, I think that they should make solo movie for the Flash.
Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman- Bridget Regan
The role of Wonder Woman would be pretty hard to play but I think that Regan looks a lot like her. With some camera editing you could make her seem taller than how she normally is.
Bruce Wayne/ Batman- Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck has already been cast in the role and I think that he will do a good job. The last movie he has been in are good such as Argo and Town. He can be a horrible Batman at the same time. Hopefully he is epic.
Clark Kent/ Superman- Henry Cavill
Cavill's Superman in Man of Steel started off the whole DC cinematic universe so of course he should come back. It doesn't hurt that the movie was awesome.
Darkseid- Kevin Grevioux
Grevioux is a pretty scary looking man when he wants to be. He is also pretty thick and menacing which would help him with the role of Darkseid.
