Superheros
This is just a list of the Superheros who I find interesting, and occasionally watch (I watch animated shows more than read comics).

Christopher Reeve's portrayal of Superman made the character even better than his comic book incarnation.
As I child, I took the 1966 Batman show seriously, and greatly enjoyed it. Even now, I still have fond feeling for the show, especially for the greatest car ever invented, the Batmobile.
I never saw this show as a comedy, and I feel that it detracted from the show when they attempted to make it funny, especially scenes of him flying haphazardly.
Still the concepts were good, the design of the suit is spectacular. I still hope this series will get made into a movie, so that it can be done with the special effects it deserves. But as Stephen J. Cannell has passed, his contributions to such a project will be sorely missed.
The MTV series introduced me to the character, and was done quite well. The series is highly unprecedented, sometimes seeming deep and at other times quirky. Certainly not your typical superhero.
The ultimate superhero spoof. Had a great animated show, and a excellent live action show, that was canceled all too soon. The original comic is also great, and very funny. The site of the characters (literal) creation is just down the street from my house.
I found the movie to be spectacular, but I was less impressed with the original comic, though it should be given respect for being much more realistic than the film. I've read the two sequels Kick Ass 2 and Hit Girl. Hoping that the upcoming movie Kick Ass 2 will be better than the comic.
I was unable to find Captain Marvel in the data base, but it came up with his secret identity.
As a kid, I watched the show Shazam, which was very impressive at the time, especially when he was called in to action and shouted "Shazam!"
I really wanted to add Gatchaman, the original Japanese animated series to this list, but neither Gatchaman, nor Battle of the Planets is in the data base.
While I watched Battle of the Planets as a kid, I have gone back and watched the entire Gatchaman series, and realize how much more depth the series has.
I still cannot fathom why Keyop dialogue is filled with odd noises. Either they didn't like some of Jinpei's (Keyop original name in Gatchaman) comments or they were just too lazy to translate them.
