So I asked this question for the Barry Allen page as while but I want to start reading the Flash comics but I do not know where to start or what order to go in, especially with the changing of characters and whatnot. Suggestions?

Hi,

I am interested in starting to read the Flash books but I have no idea where to start or what order I should take in reading the books. Any suggestions?

I think it is pretty obvious why Artemis was picked to be "killed" and join the dark side. Nightwing needed a seasoned hero to go under with Kaldur which basically leaves Superboy, MM, Wally, Artemis, and Nightwing (although an argument can be made that all of the bats are seasoned considering who they were trained by. But nevertheless). Superboy, while he has matured significantly, he is still easily angered and I don't think he could play this deep of a bad guy. MM is a loose cannon that you could not trust with this. Also she is a nice enough person that I don't think she could play evil either. nightwing has to be the puppet master of the grand scheme of things, which leaves Wally and Artemis. Wally really doesn't have anything that makes it so that he would be a good pick but Artemis has several reasons why she would be good. First, and probably the best reason, she grew up with a family of criminals. Father, mother, and sister were all criminals/villains and so she probably knows some of the tricks of the trade. The second, and not so strong reason, she most likely has been trained in many different fight methods so that she can change into a new MO for her villainous side.

With all of that said, I am not sure how well she will do when she has to work with her dad because he seems like a sharp enough person to pick up on her mannerisms and behaviorism's to know it is her. But I am looking forward to see how everything plays out.

I agree that I am not happy about the killing, especially the reason why he was killing some of them.

While he may not be able to use the boxing glove arrow he trained for years making sure his shots were not ones that killed. Also, the way he was killing in the trailer were not all with his arrows. Arrows are one thing but snapping someones neck is never accidental and typically not considered heroic.

This show looks interesting and I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

I was looking on the cartoon network young justice site and noticed that the only characters listed on the show are nightwing, robin, batgirl, blue beetle, superboy, bumblebee, beast boy and miss martian. So despite the fact that there are clearly more people on the team, do you think this is the core team and everyone else is just extras?

So we have some new tidbits to work with. Obviously something big goes down that causes the future to become dystopian. Impulse thought it was Barry dying but clearly that is not the case. had a great thought on a different thread that it is whatever neutron's gear/power was and what caused him to go boom. It looks like it is something that the aliens have come up with or designed, which is from the hand of the light.

Next week it looks like Artemis may or may not be continuing her hero gig, whether it is injury, death, or retirement. Some think it is a protege she will be getting others think just her leaving. What do y'all think?

Another thought, they have been adding new characters and it seems that they are phasing out the older characters. Do y'all think that they will create a core group more similar to the teen titans or do y'all think that they will continue to try and integrate the new with the old?

I must say that I would rather they stop phasing out the original season one members with all of the new characters. Don't get me wrong, I like most (not all) of them but I have gotten attached to the season one characters (especially Wally and Artemis) and I want to continue following their story lines instead of leaving them and picking up handful of others.

I totally agree that Mia would be a great addition over arrowette.

Very fascinating ideas, which totally seem to make sense. So do you think that the original members are just going to get phased out and only come back for few select episodes?
