So... almost 6 months past from Secret Wars ending and the beginning of the "ALL NEW ALL DIFFERENT (not so much) MARVEL UNIVERSE" and what it started with a big FLASH FORWARD to 8 months in the future of a New "not so new" Universe is beginning to answer the questions still left from that big jump and semi reset in the universe plots... but still, with bits and tips from every book published, there are questions still needed to be answered... What happened when Reed restarted the universe... what changed? what not? what plots from the last days of the old universe happened and which one were erased? What things were retconned, and which ones only changed during the 8 months jump? Who survived Battleworld, and who remember (and what exactly) what happened there? How much new is the new universe, and how much old one remained? These are all questions that deserved to be answered in parts, comic by comic... when I don't think even wrtiters really agreed in their new comic with what happened months ago... We can see things like Thor and Hyperion alive... but also a Dr Espectrum wanting revenge for what happened during secret wars... We have a Fairy Angela from Battlworld walking around, not to mention a very different Leah... He have multiverse comics as Contest of Champions and Web Warriors... in a multiverse that seems unchanged and the same time very changed...
I create this topic to discuss this questions, this new Marvel Universe now that we have a lot of stuff to work with (different than when it started). Use it to ask what you don't understand, and see if someone read a comic where answers were given or at least theories can be made from them... Use it to see if together we can rebuild (or try to make it from what we understand) some kind of coherent theory of exactly what happened before, during and after Secret Wars with the Marvel Universe, plot by plot, comic by comic :P
I start with a simple question... Did thor die battling the beyonders? Because as we could see (spoiler alert!!) in the last mighty thor issues... he seems alive... but no comic (and I have read all of them since the "no-reset") have any answer to what happened with him... Hyperion is alive too... and remember what happened in Secret Wars too... So, did Thor died and was reborn with Hyperion, or was some part of "last days of 616" retconned? Perhaps you remember some tip about this in some comic I missed... or you understood something I didn't...
Another one: What happened with the multiverse apart from 616 and 6160? From Squadron Supreme we can think that all universes from before incursions died with them, and the new multiverse is made from new universes created by "Reed and son"... (as they are survivors of that dead worlds) But then we have Web Warriors... with most universes still alive and well, as for example Gwen, Spidergirl (Peter's daughter) and Miss Spider Lady (I don't remember her name, the one from the old England era) worlds seem unaffected... (although Spider Britain still remain with his universe erased in an incursion (?!)). So what? Universes erased untill some point in the "last days" saga continue erased, but others were never killed in incursions? Or are there universes remade in such ways they never realised they were killed and remade, but others kept dead and survivors remember it? Or perhaps survivors remember the dead worlds because they survive the incursions, but people who died in the incursions (almost everybody) just thing the new universes were always there? (and so the characters in web warriors could be new characters with retconned stories similar to the dead ones?)
