Ranking all manga that i have read

if you think a great manga should be on my list and you don't see it, assume i either haven't read it yet or ask me why i didn't include it
list obviously subject to change as i read more series
no anime / anime movies
will include shit like chinese manhua (RoT) or korean webtoons
there are certain series that i only watched the anime for, so i won't rank them here
obviously list is subjective, it's just my opinion but as you all know

Godhood status. The best piece of fiction/media that i have ever consumed.

Webcomic version obviously, the manga is trash in the Monster Association Arc

Friend is a stellar villain, but the pacing is rough at times (especially with how long the manga is) and the second half is a little weaker. Still a great series.

While i like Arthur vs Dragon more than anything in Soul Eater, as a whole SE is the superior work

This could be higher, unfortunately it also includes Z which, for all the great content that it has, also has some major flaws (mostly Buu saga)

Now, Pre-timeskip Naruto was fucking stellar front to back. If i were to rank the series based of the highs of Pre-TS alone, it would be above the likes of Hunter x Hunter. Sadly though, Kishimoto dropped the ball. Too many downright terrible moments and characters in the Post-TS era, and the whole 4th Great Ninja War Arc as a whole was a huge stain on Naruto.
51. Death Note

Up until L's death, this was fucking amazing, but everything after that is subpar at best and drags the series down as a whole.

Fun read, don't expect anything outstanding tho.
57. Shingeki no Kyojin

I was never too impressed with it's start. Manga started becoming good and then great around chapters 25-30 for me. It was all ranging from good to amazing til the basement reveal. Then it started plummeting real fast. Final 2 or 3 arcs were atrocious. NOT JUST THE ENDING. stop being blind fanboys.

dropped around the start of season 2. didn't really hate it, but the constant change of the cast was too dicey. This is especially annoying considering Bam as an MC was boring and the cast was carrying

i have a weird relationship with my hero, where i keep dropping it, then i see people hype it up and my homies tell me "i swear this is really good bro", i pick it back up to see what's going on, and after like 5-6 chapters i see the bullshit and drop it again. The definition of mediocre.
63. Fairy Tail

I think we all know Fairy Tail is kinda ass. But it wasn't always ass. The start was actually pretty fun, stuff like the Jellal tower arc n shit, and the Phantom Lord arc was actually gas. But shit hit the fan real quick and it was just disappointment after disappointment. The Tenrou Island was so good, but the climax was straight doodoo and many moments in the end literally contradicted lessons that the MCs learned in that arc. Every arc following ranges from mid to bottom of the barrel garbage. Mashima is a hack, and fairy tail is still trash in 2022.

if you want good basketball manga, read Real or Slam Dunk not this. It can be entertaining i guess, if anything. Watching the anime is more fun probably.

Dropped after like 40 chapters. I will NOT sit through endless unfunny jokes and boring chapters to get to a "good" serious arc

Dropped it in the middle of the Buddha fight. Premise is cool, but the story is all over the place despite being barebones. The fights are formulaic, the backstories are generic and boring and the choreography is not that good.

Yes mythology is cool. Bastardization of mythology is however not.
This manga has literally only 1 redeeming quality, and that's Adam vs Zeus. that's it.

Escanor saves it from being last
it's the same bullshit that Fairy Tail is, except it never reached the highs of fairy tail.

74. Blue Exorcist

at least Fairy Tail had a couple of good arcs, NNT had a decent character and Record of Ragnarok had a good fight.
This manga has literally no redeeming quality. The worst of the worst bottom of the barrel straight dogshit.
