Lol, well, his striking force has always been one of his better abilities. Overall, his physical stats are in the Pitt/Badrock range, but his striking force goes to the point of rocking and drawing blood from foes that can tank a planet blowing up.

Yet thanks to to @wyldsong Namor tied only with Dragon in official BOTW. Namor who is low high tier character as you damn well know. Its not like Dragon is weak by feats. So taking a blow from a Solar Man is legit though again Solar Man crushed Dragons fist into paste with ease.

Yowsa...forgot all about that. And that was done before I could prove Dragon was capable of harming foes with planetary level durability=)

Lol...I get you. And if I were really into debating Danny again...which I am not, I could list a litany of striking feats for him that could paint a pretty good picture. Alas...that is not going to happen=)

To be honest, I am not even going to begin debating on this...but as for Danny...he has the physical stats and skill to keep up with 616 Spidey (Pete) with the striking force of a class 100 when he isn't playing around, that is unless he has been nerfed in recent years, as I have not read a Marvel book in a bit. Danny when last I read him, was someone that could reasonably play in higher tiers than street levels.

Definitely a rights issue, though with Conan and Sonja being from the same world, Gath it seems gets to play between the comic companies. Which also happened a lot with Conan's Dark Horse comics run, as you had characters, locales, and so on showing up in both their titles.

Interestingly enough, Sonja's longest run with Dynamite, is a continuation of her original Marvel run. Factor in canon crossovers between various comic companies, I can actually weave a thread that ties together stories and characters running from Kulan Gath in Marvel and Dynamite, all the way to Hack Slash in the Devil's Due Publishing incarnation, and even further back to the OG Chaos Comics and the Harris Comics run of Vampirella.

And all of that is probably only really interesting in my little brain=)

@supremegeneration: Not sure about the current Marvel stuff, but usually, after he is beat and killed, he generally has a safeguard or two in place to ensure that he can eventually escape the land of the dead. Sonja has killed him multiple times, but unless you deal with his prep work to eventually come back...he can be a pain.

If I get a chance, I will see about sharing some things, but...Red Sonja's blood can specifically kill Gath, at least until he finds a way back from the land of the dead and needs to be put down again. Gath is a character that now transcends to two comic companies thanks to the shared lore of Sonja and Conan, so I know a bit about him, and have all of his Dynamite comics appearances in Red Sonja.
