"Specifically the Black Sun, which probably many have never even heard about...or maybe they have due to SotE or TOR games...or maybe they have delved deeper in past the movies."
TCW TV Series had them as well. Just a lil nitpick. Heh.
Other than that, and that isn't even important, nice blog. Well put together and informative.
@wolfrazer: Ive read that Black Sun comic book with Darth Maul and it was quite interesting. I believe this organization is powerful, but if they were humiliated by a like 21 years old Zabrak...
@penderor: A powerful Sith apprentice, under tutelage by the Dark Lord of the Sith. Doesn't matter how old he is as it's been well documented that Maul was trained since a young age to be a living weapon. It's not just some random Zabrak. Plus at that point, it wasn't even at it's peak.
@wolfrazer: I still dont feel its logic that Sith Assassin can bring a GALAXY organization down, just by himself. Its probably because its still a fiction thought.
@penderor: He didn't bring it down, he merely crippled it and it was because it had yet to reach it's full peak of operations and power and really Alexi Garyn was a moron.
@wolfrazer: That's true, but still he had to kill dozens of soldiers to reach each of these commander's of the main leader. Not to mentioning the last fortress. There could be a hundreds of soldiers.
@penderor: Not really, Alexi thought it would be a bright idea to have all the Vigos in one place. So really...Maul just had to go to one location to deal with them all.
@penderor: It wasn't a 100+ enemies that Maul fought, it was a large group but hardly 100. @i_like_swords It was what? 40+ at best?
There could have been more, but I really doubt 100.
A lot of it happened off-panel, but we do see Maul clearing rooms of Black Sun, bounty hunters, and two Force sensitives. The fight you're referencing was when he got surrounded by 40+ and managed to kill them all physically.
It's hardly a slight on the Black Sun. Maul's whole niche is being an assassin at that point in time. He's one of the best duelists in the mythos and has pretty great stealth abilities.
@i_like_swords: Right which is what I was saying, it's hardly a low showing for them if they get crippled by Maul of all people and it ain't like he got away unscathed either anyway. Especially when it's not in their prime.
@wolfrazer: I am not saying its ilogicall that Maul can kill 40+ enemies. I am saying that its ilogicall, that biggest crime organization in the entire Galaxy takes all it main leaders with just 40 soldiers? LOL. Its like the White House would be guarded by two fat policemen.

@ostyo: Oh, well, yeah. On Clone Wars era stuff, at least. It's the main stuff I read. As in I read more CW era stuff than anything, DC and Marvel included.
@The_Deathstroker: Yeah. But I'm only knowledgeable on Old Republic and Clone Wars Era stuff. Never liked any of the post Return of the Jedi stuff enough to take much interest.
@i_like_swords: Yes Ive read. And each of these Vigos had like 3 or 4 personal guards. With every Vigo!s security counted in, its still extremely low number.
@penderor: I mean he wasn't bad, it's just that decision to put all the leaders within one place was just a really, really stupid move on his part. Although the organization was unprepared so...I guess it was also more of a hasty decision to make too...but it was still rather dumb.
