What is everyone's opinion on Doseone? He is pretty polarizing. Definitely one of those love 'em or hate 'em artists. I think he's pretty dope.

@ZombieBigfoot: Oh, yeah. Ali is dope no doubt. Rhymersayers doesn't have a weak link in the chain. You'll be hard pressed to find a stronger crew.

@spiderbat87: @Billy Batson: Speaking of god, I'd think I'm going to list the properties of God:

  • omniscience(inherent, still allows free will)
  • omnipotence(noone can thwart God's will)
  • omnipresence(exists in all places simutaneously and at all times)
  • omnibenevolent(loves all humans and can forgive)
  • eternal(not bound by time)
  • Creator of the Universe
  • Neither man nor woman
  • God does what's best for us, not what's best for him
  • Both good and evil exist(after all, God gave free will to humanity to allow them to choose)
  • God can never identify one religion as correct.

We keep saying "God's this, God's that" when we need a definition for what we are talking about.

Btw, these are NOT my beliefs, this is just a list of God's properties(aka what most religious people consider God to be).

By that definition god's existence is contradictory. How can he allow for free will but still be all powerful and all knowing? How can god do what is best for us when "his" very existence causes crap loads of problems on this planet?

@Static Shock: Not following. God is an entity, he/she doesn't have to be necessarily one gender.

It still goes back to what I said. To some people, God is a male. To others, he could be the opposite, both, or no gender at all. Like I said. Perspective.

But don't you think that is limiting. Something as abstract a concept as God being limited by gender seems a little silly don't you think? I think humans have anthropomorphized "God" in order to gain some understanding. Look at the Old testament. God exhibited some very human characteristics and emotions. Jealousy, rage, passion, etc. Do you really think would be a slave to human emotions?

Ill sleep when youre dead IS beautiful. My favorite song from any of his stuff is The Overly Dramatic Truth. His mix on Live and Let Die and Baby by Justin Bieber is also awesome. I would never call JB awesome, but he did a really great job. I also love his 99 problems mix.

hmmm.... I actually dislike JMT immensely (because of my dad), so I couldn't really tell you... They just sounded like something you might like.

El Camino was awesome! By far my favorite album of 2011. Be warned, it's nothing like Brothers, or their older stuff... so yeah.

Hawthorne is basically for anyone who likes them oldies. If you are interested in "oldies" in general, i'm your man.

Have you heard of ADTR (A Day To Remember)? They're a Punk band, and a lot of people really like them.

Heres ADTR

.... And Hawthorne

Definitely. I'm waiting for the next installment of wereallgoingtoburninhell.

That's weird. The only people who compare to JMT on that list are OF and RA but that's a stretch. JMT isn't what they used to be. Or maybe I changed. *shrugs*

I'll be prepared for that. Thanks.

Hmm, I like 'em so far. I'll check them out. Thanks again.

J.Cole,Foreign Exchange,Nujabes,Five Deez,Rihanna,MF DOOM,Madlib Try those out.

I'm an NC native. I wouldn't be doing my homework if I didn't know about J.Cole and Phonte. Yeah, I really haven't liked much of what Rihanna has put out. I couldn't see myself listening to an entire album to be honest. Gah, how could I forget to throw Doom up there? I definitely listen to him.

Where should I start with Nujabes and Madlib? I've heard a few songs that peaked my interest but I never dug any further. I know Madlib mostly from Madvillany,Liberation and his production on other albums. I don't know any of his solo work. Same with Nujabes.

@Billy Batson: Surprisingly I'm not that into Flobots. I like them but they won't be getting heavy rotation if you know what I mean. Where should I start with the rest of those cats? I've heard a little of Jehst but I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to UK hip hop. If it isn't Scroobius Pip or RA I don't know anything about it.
