Comics fan since I was old enough to read, (both Marvel and DC, but have becoming increasingly pro-Marvel over the years) as well as a fan of classic horror/sci-fi movies and mythology, particularly Nordic. Considered in my town as the "unofficial comics historian", as I am deeply interested in the history of comics themselves. Collector of figures & other comics memorabilia, with growing interest in Golden Age characters. My favorite characters include Bucky/Winter Soldier(obviously), Captain America, Falcon, Daredevil, Black Widow, Thor, Loki, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Hank Pym, Scott Lang, Wasp, Kate Bishop, Mockingbird, Star-Lord/Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Nova(Richard Rider), Moon Knight, Deadpool, Black Panther, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, the original Human Torch, Toro, Namor, the Thing, Dr. Strange(classic), Silver Surfer, Werewolf By Night, Captain Britain, Union Jack, Rocket Raccoon, Swamp Thing, Man-Thing, Kamandi, OMAC(Kirby), The Fourth World characters, The Flash(Silver Age Barry Allen, Wally West & Jay Garrick), Alan Scott(the original version), Kyle Rayner, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Jason Todd, Dr. Fate, Captain Mar-Vell, Captain Marvel(Shazam) to name a few. Huge fan of all the Marvel Studios films. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are my heroes. My favorite modern comic writers are Ed Brubaker, Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning. Also have an interest in Norse mythology/culture & Native American culture & WW2 & Cold War history, as well as weird history, the paranormal, the super-scientific & high strangeness.
