A friend of mine, who is a religious X-Men follower, suggested that Schism is a set up for Cyclops to be the next X-Villain, becoming the new Magneto. I'd definitely read that.
I hope he does, it wouldn't be the first time Doom and Reed Richards have worked together for a common goal (usually one that benefits Doom as well) so there's precedent. I highly doubt Doom will change anything about his appearance though. He's not that much of a team player.
Prediction: he helps them save the world to repair his brain damage, then somehow ends up screwing them in the end. It's his M.O. after all.
@Lustwish: Me too, and it'd be nice foreshadowing to a possible Namor movie if (and hopefully when) Marvel starts making movies based on lesser-known characters, like Namor, Black Panther, Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, etc.
@inferiorego: Agreed, Dark Knight got away with a lot of R Rated imagery by having very little obscene language. Which didn't come across as corny because the writing is was, and is, so strong.
@TheMess1428: I would love to see Deadshot, and Tom Hardy could certainly pull that off. Personally, I was hoping for Black Mask and Deadshot, having Mask take over the Mob and hire Deadshot to kill Batman.
@Vance Astro: Well, Mark Hamill looks nothing like the Joker, which is why he's never even been an option. If we knew nothing about Djimon Hounsou other than how he looked, he'd still be an arguably good choice.
@Vance Astro: If you simply don't like him, fair enough. I think that in the case of this particular African character he's a perfect fit in voice, appearance, etc. He also hasn't had a leading role as far as I know, I think it would be a good thing for him.
