The press release for 111 made me spend some time thinking about who the traitor could be and I decided that it would be Robot. So seeing that in this issue wasn't only surprising in that it happened in this issue, not 111. But if the betrayal actually happens this issue, is there another one coming in 111 or was that a press release that was intentionally misleading to preserve the story's surprise? Regardless, this book continues to be my favorite month after month.

Yup, I completely agree with this review. Before they repeatedly called him Shrapnel I thought they were doing a version of Toyman like in Smallville. He even works in a toyshop!

References I caught: Saint Walker, The Movement

Adding the particle accelerator to the equation at least makes more sense than lighting + chemicals = Flash. Interested to see where they go with Roy. I guess he isn't going to be an archer, huh? Glad Lance is going to get re-promoted, although that it is an unfortunate way for it to occur. Seeing Ollie be a badass with that arrow removal in front of his sister's friends was cool too. I LOVE THIS SHOW!

I'm glad to see Batman Beyond becoming a part of the current DCU canon, hopefully we'll get a on-going focusing on him.

Though I am curious, if they plan on introducing Terry in this new series, what does this mean for his current digital comic series?

Yeah I don't mind them messing with Terry as long as they keep his book out of whatever crap they pull. Maybe it will be great, but I have very little faith in New 52 events.

I would love for this to be a success. Lemire, Azzarello (which spell check is telling me should be spelled Mozzarella), Frankenstein, and Terry. That all sounds great. And then there is Firestorm, haven't read anything of him since Brightest Day. He is only noteworthy during events, huh? Which half are they killing this time?

Grant Gustin is a good Barry, but it's laughable how many DC heroes have tragic backstories and dead-parent motivations.

All heroes, actually.

Spider-Man ? Daredevil? Hawkeye? all dead parents >_>

It's the perfect Disney movie!

4/5 Loved the references and Raider's-like action sequence of Ollie boarding the truck. That thunder in the scene with Barry next to the chemicals AND THEN THEY DIDN'T DO IT! I forgot that this was a two-parter so the ending was really abrupt. Felicity mentioning the arrows not being good enough after Allen already mentioned how to improve them made Ollie's decision to use regular ones look really boneheaded. Oh well they'll hit the rule of three for that when they pick up that thread next episode so Ollie can take down strong people. Also no Laurel in this episode. Thank you!

References I picked up on: Kord, Reverse-Flash, Red Arrow (blood on the arrow [maybe I just want that to count so it'll happen already]). I missed the Grundy one.

Looking forward to next week.
