Too bad there's so little love for Iron Fist. That is the one book I look forward to more than anything else at the moment.

@webbcity: the part with iron man was from avengers red zone story. all of the older scans I got from the "jungle action" series

Funny, I thought Jungle Action but I didn't remember that stuff. My memory must be failing. That Red Zone arc is on my list.

Thanks!

Who would you guys want to write Black Panther's next ongoing?

I asked that very question in a thread a while back: http://www.comicvine.com/black-panther/4005-1477/forums/we-need-a-new-black-panther-series-1576780/?messageId=12469019#js-message-38

I still thank Fraction or Hickman could be really great, in totally different ways of course. But I just had another though...what is J. Michael Straczynski doing these days? His work on Thor and Spider-Man was fantastic. I could see him writing a pretty good Black Panther.

@cresshadow: Re: post #99, would love to know where some of those pages come from! I know the David Liss stuff, and the New Avengers, but much of the stuff in the middle I don't recognize. Could you tell me where some of these come from? Thanks!

Really like this Iron Fist series, one of my fave atm, 5/5 for me. Love the art and the way the storie has technology and kung fu mashed together

This!

A 3-star review, really? This is a five star issue for me. I'm really sorry more people can't get into it but I think it's absolutely brilliant.

Call me crazy, but I didn't think this was that bad. I enjoyed it actually, and didn't find it confusing despite the fact that I've read no other Spider-Verse titles. I thought some of the dialogue between SW and Silk was pretty funny. I agree that it wasn't fantastic for a #1 issue, but I'm still interested enough to see what happens in the next one. Hopefully Jessica will take more of a lead role.

I'm gonna be hissed at for sure BUT here I go...

One of my favorite series of BP stories was the short lived JACK KIRBY series. Diffeent. Imaginative. And cut short by people at Marvel that had no respect for Jack.

Nope, I am a BIG fan of Kirby's series. And a big fan of BP in general. But there's something about that series, as goofy and off the wall as it is...it is just a crazy fun ride. I love it. And this is probably sacrilegious too, but I think it enjoy it more than Don McGregor's work on Jungle Action (ducking now...)

Apart from that I really dig what I've read of Priest's run (which is I think less than half of it at this point...am hoping Marvel collects these soon so I don't have to track down every back issue). And Liss's take on BP I thought was outstanding. Not sure why that series gets so little love, I think it's fantastic. And lately I've been catching up on the 1988 4-ish limited series which is better than I remembered it being.

Oh yeah, and Aaron's 3-issue Secret Invasion run is flat-out KILLER. And no, you don't need any other Secret Invasion titles to understand it.
