Here is another image that I did based off the graphic novel called The Mice Templar. The image is a scene from the battle of Avalon which is a central event in the story that signals the twilight of the Templar.
I was thinking about expanding what illustrations I do into things that are kid friendly as well as comic work. With that in mind this illustration was inspired by a old movie from the Ninties starting Fred Savage where he finds out that monsters do exist and that there world is connect to ours through the closets of children.
Thanks I appreciate it. I've been looking for paying comic work and I've been finding it really hard to find any yet. I figured that since there is so much public domain IP work out there I can just work on something that I enjoy on my own. This way I can just take the plot from the stories and use that as the script. Once I have the plot I can just use the "Marvel Method to create a comic from it. After this project is done I'm thinking of making a Pinnochio Sci-Fi re-imagining of the story. I may do that or I may try to reinvent little red riding hood and make it a sci-fi or a high fantasy tale. Oh well Whatever..lol
That's pretty awesome that you guys like my work. Here is another piece of work that I"m doing for a ten second commercial for my video editing class. I generally have a flaw of wanting to do things the hard way so instead of taking a bunch of photos and decided to just draw out the graphics for the commercial and animate them in preimer pro. The commercial is a ten second bumper based off the popular 80's cartoon called Thundercats. As you can see the first piece of concept art is for the main character Lion-O. I think I'll try to use these images and later make them into a print but I'm undecided on that still.
Here are some more images with a fantasy theme. The first image is of a fighter trying to escape a beholder. The second image is based on characters involving Final Fantasy Tatics of a Dragoon and a Black Mage Fighting a MetaDragon.
