First, if you look closely in the image, under the quote, above where the left shoulder would be, there is a letter "T" just sticking out. Looks like it was supposed to get blacked out or erased but got missed. Can we assume that's where the characters name would be? If his name ends in T, Moon Knight is a safe bet.
Also, the "taloned hand" may just be a normal thumb or finger with the remnants of the cape flowing behind it. It would make the thumb look clawed when the image is blacked out.
The boots also look very Moon Knight-esque to me. Also, he played a large role in the West Coast Avengers, maybe this is their way of creating a new book that also draws in the old WCA fans?
@Capo_Del_Bandito: I don't mind Daniel Way, he's had a few good moments. But if we can get, say, a whole arc of Joe Kelly goodness...well then. That would be something.
Yes on Moon Knight in anything that doesn't involve his cape being in the shape of a perfect crescent. Too cliche. But anything with a MacFarlane-y cape (where it's all fucked up and tattered) absolutely.
A lot of these are awesome though, I like Nova, and those shots of Arcangel were epic.
I vote they kill Team-Up and MWAM. First issue of Deadpool Corps (that happened inside MWAM) wasn't anywhere near good enough to spawn another ongoing.
It's not a power exactly, but what the hell is going on with this super soldier serum? Supposedly Cap is the only super soldier, as Erskine was killed after creating it, and no one has been able to replicate it since...fine. But then they reveal that those experiments spawned the Weapon program, and other serums were used, one of which (apparently) created the Sentry, the most overpowered man in the Marvel U. So what, that one got lost too? What about Master Man? Wasn't he supposed to be even stronger and faster then Cap? Yes, I know this is a metaphor for the American struggle in WWII, but still. And another thing, apparently some guy got plastic surgery after Cap died to look like him, who they're now bringing back in the Cap book. This asshole just got plastic surgery and somehow now he's stronger then Steve Rogers? I'm sure he took something, but if all this crap is better then Steve's serum, what's the big deal about it anymore?
And another non-power I'm confused about. How does this fake cap have the same shield? Wasn't Cap's shield also a one-time unrepeatable mistake? What's this guy carrying? The shield from the Zombie Captain America from Marvel universe 12402?
I've heard the Batman/Moon Knight complaints before. To be honest, I think Moon Knight is a better character. He's evolved much more then Batman ever has, especially between the 2006 run and this new Vengeance series. The Scarecrow thing kinda weirded me out too, while I was reading it. But they did such a good job with him that I forgave it.
