@sprior93: To me, right now where the X-Men are, saying that is the same as saying the X-Men are a Doom Patrol rip off... It's not about who did it first, it's about who's doing it best. Right now, for me, the X universe is off the boil and the Inhuman one is on it.

I wish the X-Men were still about changing minds by example, rather than being a surgical strike team to remove perceived threats. That was always what X-Force was about to me... Now I don't really get the difference.

Okay I'm confused. Last time I read about Silk she was just released by Peter from isolation, became a hero, and fought Black Cat every time they met so what changed?

I guess that will all be kinda explained in, y'know, the comic...

One, the connecting covers are lovely. I am not getting this salty, "but it's not a first time thing so it sucks" whining. You guys make my teeth hurt.

Two, the inclusion of non Inhumans into their thing is fine by me. The mutant universe has had non mutants as part of it's teams for decades (Warlock? Longshot? An alien and mutate, if I remember rightly?), and the Torch and Quicksilver (both mutates, yes) have long term deep connections to the Inhuman story, and I fully get why Beast would gravitate to them as a culture. It make 100% 'sense'.

I am also a FF fan and while they are being given a rest I am happy to see different members used in different areas to keep their profile alive and rejuvenate who they are and what they mean.

You know what makes me mad? The Thing being drawn short when he's not supposed to be much smaller than Hulk. He's literally wearing a rocket pack on two fingers, why's he so short on the cover?

~KL~

wouldn't that depend on how big the rocket pack is?

Let's be honest. It makes sense in as much anything makes sense in the modern climate of throw shit at the wall in a desperate attempt to see what sticks. It doesn't bother me, it doesn't excite me. Mainly because I know it's all frothy marketing, gimmicks, and nothing 'matters' in Marvel/ DC anymore.
