Perhaps they were not the most skilled of mercenaries, or possessing some form of super-tech, though sufficiently so in most cases. Lada's mercenary group known as the army of Radegast had a different reputation, the unstoppable.

They did not put as much effort into defense, not outside of military level armor and often gas masks. Instead, they focused on offensive ability.

There are only three variations on the forces, making it relatively easy to know who needs to go where, militia, snipers, and elites.

Militia:

A force of individuals who were taught to put themselves into a mindset of the mission over their lives. When going into battle and putting on their equipment, they take on a totally different perspective then that they might have normally had. Pushing themselves as hard as they could to achieve the objective set before them.

These people are not strategists, knowing only a series of groupings and maneuvers that are usually enough to get them where they need to be. Their primary training is in destroying a target, reacting to a target, and obeying orders. Often in groups of three and two, three leading the charge, and two watching the back, the moment they see movement that is not where and how an ally would be moving, they let lose on it. They are often very strong and fast, as well as good at firing, however aside from their willingness to die so quickly to achieve a goal, they are not superior to a legitimate military force unless someone good is commanding them.

Militia are occasionally armed with additional weapons, such as varying forms of explosives or miniguns.

Snipers:

The snipers do not have to sit with the same, mission before life mindset, as they are rarely right in the middle of battle. Their focus is on learning everything that's going on, and being able to take out individuals, sometimes mid-conflict. Trained to move quickly, blend in, get to hard to reach or find places, and actually hit what they're aiming for, the snipers can make things more convenient when trying to lure someone into a trap.

They know a lot more methods then the militia do and are more often used when Lada wants to get a point across to someone without losing many resources in the process.

Elite:

Elites are a good deal more skilled then the militia. They are often either sent in with a squad in their command, or alone. Lada typically has one or two accompanying her when she goes places, often posing as a driver.

They are trained to be extremely skilled in armed and unarmed combat, taught by Lada herself. Brutal with every strike, intent on breaking down their opponent. And if they manage to put up a defense, they'll break that down too. Rarely does an elite put up a guard, rather when there's an incoming attack they'll counter it with an attack of their own, occasionally at an angle in order to inflict more damage on their enemy.

They are expert marksmen and, being trained by Lada, are not unfamiliar with fighting superhumans. Often they are armed with multiple weapons, daggers, heavy hand guns, and powerful machine guns. They are typically either not armored at all, or provided with state of the art Graphene armor and bulletproof plates designed to allow maneuverability but still remain bulletproof and have high resistance to blades.

Many carry powerful tasers.

These are my npc mercenaries.

The elites are probably not gonna show up nearly as often except actually with Lada. But the Militia can, the snipers can also show up occasionally but unless there's going to be a trap, for defensive purposes, assassination, or a full on invasions of some kind, they probably won't be as common.

They're based in Russia but they are international.

Honestly, feel free to hire them for stuff and use them as long as you stick to what's up there, the only ones I wouldn't want randomly showing up would be elites. Though do tell me if you used them because I might want to link it. But for really big stuff of some kind I might want to have Lada be more involved about it as she wouldn't want to lose a ton of troops.

Lada Odysseia Orlov, but known by many names, Gamayun, Morana, mistress of war. There are a few who have heard tales of her from during both the first and second world wars. However, a few of the more ambitious, even believe that she was once some ancient Russian deity or creature. This belief was part of what sparked calling her Morana, the goddess of winter death. Whether or not that was her true name a long time ago she has never told anyone, and she refuses to give her true age. However, there are still a few who remain who know for certain what she once truly was. Long before the world wars, when she was at least in part what they believed her to be.

However, whatever she once was, her time now she spends as a vampire mage in charge of a small international mercenary cooperation known for their utter brutality and swift eliminations on the battlefield and unwavering loyalty to getting the job done no matter the pain or death that is inflicted upon them, known as the Army of Radegast

Lada is a very intelligent woman, and one who greatly enjoys battle, whether she decides to show it or not. Sometimes however, if the battle is too boring, she'll just straight up leave. It is for this reason she sometimes puts herself in inconvenient situations in order to increase how bad her situation is so it'll be more entertaining to get out of it.

Powers/abilities:

Multilingual, She knows most of the typical languages used on earth. As well as a few more ancient ones that are used for magic.

Memory: Although she doesn't have an eidetic memory. Lada has an excellent one, and uses various techniques to greatly increase it.

Awareness: Lada is very good at remaining aware of all that's going on around her and is not usually caught of guard by someone moving.

Expert marksman:

Give her any sort of projectile and she'll make it deadly. Knives, bullets, even simple sticks or stones can become destructive at a distance with her. Her ability to quickly gauge and fire at where her target even if she only caught a glimpse of them was so absurd she is known among her men for taking out snipers casually with her own rifle.

Combative tactician:

When it comes to actually commanding her troops. She's rather skilled, perhaps not the greatest tactician. But she is very good at making sure she optimizes her mens skills and equipment. She is perhaps not as good at making sure they all come out alive, the point is that the enemy comes out dead.

Combatant:

Though it is rare that she fights with just her skills or a melee weapon, she is a terrifying enemy when doing so. Her speed and brutal strength has overwhelmed far too many and even created fear as her eyes very rarely leave those of her target. She often ceases using focused vision in return for having better peripheral vision that allows her to more easily track multiple targets or threats, as well as increase her other senses. This makes surprising her a very difficult attempt.

Immortality:

Lada is incapable of dying of old age or aging of any kind. Even without her vampiric healing Lada would possess an inhuman ability to survive with an extremely extended lifetime without losing any physical capabilities.

Magical sense: Like many powerful mages, or mages in general, Lada can sense magical auras. Whether from people or things. Most people have feint magical aura's, powerful ones have heavy but gelatinous ones, and skilled people have sharp auras. The same applies to spells and magical items. This also allows her to detect most things even without the use of her other senses, though it primarily resides in her ability to see, she doesn't actually have to have her eyes open to do it, it is merely processed the same way as a widespread sight.

Vampiric healing:

Lada can heal from almost any wound short of completely destroying her heart. This healing is fast, and often disturbing to watch. It does however leave noticeable scars. She is actually capable of delaying the healing until another time, in order to give the appearance of being human. This vampiric healing also goes to another few matters, it gives her a slightly increased resistance to pain, and makes her utterly immune to toxins and most illnesses.

Feeding:

Lada can grow fangs and claws that are extremely sharp and hard, capable enough to easily slip through titanium. The fangs allow her to puncture her target in order to suck out the blood. The claws she mostly uses for combat, or if she doesn't want to put her mouth on her victim, as they have tubes within them that allow her to drain the targets blood.

Technically she's able to eat normal food. However she finds it utterly disgusting unless it contains raw flesh of some kind. Though she may understand it may have a good taste or not. The same does not apply to drinks however, as it seems she greatly enjoys alcoholic drinks, and oddly it seems heavy alcohol is the only thing that can effect her, though only too a point.

Enhanced senses:

Not only are all of her senses greatly enhanced, she has an extra one that is much like a snakes. Allowing her to sense thermal energy. Her sense of smell is also absurd.

Superhuman physicals:

Lada's muscles and nervous system move at superhuman speeds. She can move in the blink of an eye. Actually capable of outrunning race-cars and perceiving sniper bullets. Her strength allows her to literally send people flying.

However in order for her to reach such levels, she often has to have fed that day. Or her abilities decrease to merely peak human.

Breathless:

Lada has no need to breath, so only does so if she wants to. Most of the time it's to smoke, her lungs seem to be constantly filled with smoke.

The ancient deity:

Lada lost many powers when she became a vampire. And little remains of what she may have been before. Though in some ways she is better, in most she is not. What she has kept mostly is her magic and her inability to age. She wonders if she would return to her true power if she were to be cured.

Mistress of magic:

All of the following powers, unless otherwise listed, are magical.

Lada is powerful in magic, and very knowledgable, her power came naturally it seems. According to her, she was born with it. It's because of this she very rarely has to cast any magic with symbols or words unless it extends beyond her normal set of magical prowess. Though she usually sticks to only a few.

Smoke magic:

A signature of hers is using the smoke from her cigarettes she often carries around. She is able to increase or decrease it's mass, and can move it around with such speed and ease that it almost becomes a solid object. This allows her to suffocate enemies, create so much smoke that she simply can't be seen. Smoke magic is also how she often uses teleportation, either moving around within the smoke, or seeming to burst into smoke. This type of magic is a lot harder to counter as the smoke itself is very much real, but increasing it to such an extent is artificial.

This has other uses however, using smoke she's able to create illusions, and even carry people elsewhere, or allows her and them to see and hear things going on somewhere else. Though she rarely does this with people who aren't neutral or on her side.

This smoke is also known for possessing other supernatural qualities. Such as granting her perception of anything within it, and nearby it. And allowing her to screw with sensory equipment and sounds within the smoke.

The ice queen:

She was called the goddess of winter after all. Lada can greatly decrease thermal energy, manipulate, increase and decrease, ice and cold water, cause magical blizzards, create weapons out of ice, and cause a deathly presence when using this magic. A presence that feels almost depressing and is known for causing fear. When she's done, her magic often dissipates on it's own.

The Nightmare-strider:

A terrifying assortment of abilities, Nightmare is merely the name for the conglomeration of mind techniques she uses. Though certain conditions must be met most of the time, by touching someone she is able to raise their worst fears to mind, as well as see them if she's willing to lose her attention to the outside world just like they are. When in a controlled situation, she can even give them complete experiences within these forced nightmares.

This gives her an extreme awareness of telepaths, both ones that are merely nearby, and those trying to get inside or control her. Not only does it give her a greater resistance, it allows her to "Stride into their mind by the path they set" should they read or try to manipulate her. This allows her to use her other nightmare abilities.

The confusion of the sleepers. Often combined with a second ability. She can spread a sort of confusion or acceptance of whatever's happening. This means that she could walk right into a military base, and as she goes the people who sense her enter a state as if they were asleep and not able to think properly, seeing her as just another part of the dream and the job. This ability is more difficult to use on people who are used to fighting telepathy, mind control, or who are immune to hypnosis.

The nightmare realm: She is able of entering someones dreams, or her own, traveling through them to come out elsewhere. Whether by going person to person, or directing the persons dream towards somewhere, often making it darker as she does so, and allowing her to leave at that place. This also allows her to enter her own mind and essentially vanish into a pocket dimension within herself. In this realm she is the absolute master as it all belongs to her and obeys her every whim.

Daylight alteration:

As Lada is in fact a vampire, she does have the weakness of sunlight, though that's about the only one she does have. However, in time, she had learned how to alter the direction of the sunlight in such a way that it appears darker for her as well as moves around her giving the appearance she has no shadow, or a very feint one, but also keeping the sunlight from truly harming her skin.

Shapeshifter:

Lada can change her appearance from one thing to another with relative ease. However, it's purely temporary and she cannot maintain any other form permanently. It also decreases her ability to use her magic.

Telekinetic:

Although not as good at sending cars flying or halting meteors, she has a notable way of using it. She often uses it to raise multiple weapons into the air and fire or throw them all at an enemy creating a massive barrage.

Transparent discs:

Lada can create discs of potential/kinetic energy. Until hit, they seem almost to not be there. But she is able to see them as almost constant rippling circles. These discs are capable of deflecting things with kinetic energy that pushes against whatever comes to them. On occasion she's used these offensively, sending them flying on their sides to cut or simply shoving them forwards creating a forceful shove.

Time-shift:

De-wound:

Though there are many applications to this potentially. The main one she uses it for is reversing a wound. In one second, it can reverse a wound to whatever it's area was five seconds before the present. When used on more then three people at a time, it can only do one wound per time. So it does have a weakness, six deadly wounds would still kill the person. And if the injury would still be there after the five second back-step, then it is still there. This often is used on groups of troops in order to greatly increase how many make it out alive. She can use this on herself, but rarely does so.

Technically speaking, time shifting is a term for all her chronokinetic magic. She rarely uses other aspects.

Skip:

Another aspect to time shift, this moves her five seconds forwards or backwards from where she was or would be spatially. Although it can be increased or decreased in time, this is the most typical.

Boost:

One of only a few abilities she has that is specifically meant for others. Lada is able to boost the abilities of others through magic, increasing their strength, speed, perception, and skill, based on how much magic she's exerting.

Verbal/symbol magic:

The word of power:

With a swift word Lada can send a powerful sonic blast from her mouth. The power of the word depends on just what phrasing she uses. Some are merely extremely high pitched waves that are extremely painful and may break glass or vibrate liquids inside someone, others are strong enough to send things flying.

The tongue of Gamayun (variety):

The tongue of Gamayun is in fact a language which, when spoken, typically appears in the native language of the listener in a tune that is extremely appealing and foreign. Most of the time, even if the person can hear it in their own words, they will not be able to comprehend it.

The seducer:

Words of this kind are often forgotten. They are used to draw a person towards the speaker, making them appear more attractive in whatever way the person hearing them would see as attractive. This is known for depriving them of their complete awareness until all they desire is the seducer.

Words of knowledge:

There are numerous ways these may be used. For some people they hear words, others see visions, but they always receive knowledge. Most of the time, it's the speaker giving knowledge they have to the person, or giving the person back memories they once had.

However on some occasions of incredible skill or power, the speaker may be able to request knowledge by a specific song. Sometimes this will give them visions of the future, or tell them of things they should otherwise be unable to know. For those who are particularly capable at this and have used it many times to perceive things, they may begin to develop fore-sight and precognition naturally.

Weaknesses:

Sunlight:

Although she has magic in place to prevent this, if she didn't Lada would be in extreme pain under sunlight and would slowly deteriorate faster then her healing could keep up with, ultimately killing her if it burned through her heart. This doesn't seem to go specific to light or heat, but rather sunlight in particular. Although she may have some weakness to other stars, and artificially made sunlight whether through magic or other means, it is the earths sun that seems to hurt the most.

Pity:

Some may not see this as a weakness, but she sometimes does. Lada has been known to take pity on people she sees as weaker then her who are put in a situation where they can't get out of. However, if someone is in the way of achieving her goal she may be willing to look past it.

The heart:

Lada's most true weakness is her heart. Destroying her heart completely is the only way to be certain of her death. But, she also knows it's not so hard or so easy as some may see. If it is not completely destroyed it just might be able to repair itself. But there's always that chance. She is actually able to move where her heart is with shapeshifting, but it has to exist.

Powers:

Undead: No matter how much damage Jaiden is put through, she cannot die unless she is made human again. Her body will eventually drag itself back together, or she will find some flesh to feed off of in order to regenerate back together. She maintains awareness at almost all times unless asleep or her head is obliterated, in which case her body will act on instinct until she has had it returned or it can regenerate. While no amount of chemical effects can forcefully drain her awareness, certain powers, the right advanced technology, or magical abilities are able to do so to an extent. Thanks to being essentially dead, Jaiden actually gives off no heat, which means her skin is almost always room temperature.

Dead eyes: Jaiden's eyes can be seen as being slightly glazed over, and a bit slow in movement. She actually has trouble making out details due to this and is mostly only able to get out a pretty good idea of figures, coloring, movement, and light changes. Despite this, her ability to perceive enough for combat is sufficient in her opinion, but she still can have issues both in day to day life and in combat if her opponent has small enough weapons that blend with the background and move slowly.

Revenants power: When Jaiden eats fresh blood or flesh she gets superhuman attributes adding onto her abilities based on what she consumed, a rabbit will make her faster and give her greater hearing and smell, while cow flesh will give her far greater strength and stamina. Human or superhuman flesh or blood gives her a far greater boost in power, and increases all her abilities as well as allows her to see normally if she fed on a human, or beyond if it was the power of what she fed on. This may result in glowing snake like eyes rather then normal human eyes.

Starved rampage: When she's been unable to get her hands on fresh food for awhile she begins to deteriorate, but she also ends up going into a rather dangerous rampage of sorts. This makes her superhuman in attributes and brings about the snakelike eyes and superhuman vision and speed in particular, but it is short lasting and will calm after she's eaten. It makes her unable to truly think hard, but due to her significant abilities, this is rarely a problem until afterwards. She hates getting like this, so tries to avoid it at all costs.

Aquatic twins

Aidan and Nadia

Aidan:

Aidan is supposedly older than Nadia by their account. However it's unkown how to judge the age difference. He is generally the larger of the two as he is more capable of using brute force than she is.

Humanoid form:

Height: 6'4"-6'6"

Build: Muscular.

Hair: Blonde.

Eyes: Green.

Strength:

Dry: 60 ton lifting force. A 100 ton strike.

Wet: 100 ton lift. 150 ton strike.

Underwater: Near infinite. He can easily strike through an adamantium defense like it was made from brittle plastic.

Durability:

Dry: Unphased by high grade military missiles and shells.

Wet: Unphased by lightning level attacks and 2 billion ton force.

Underwater: Barely harmable even by extremely superior beings, including cosmic.

Intelligence: Highly intelligent and adaptable. Has historical knowledge of many magical, powerful, and similar occurences and beings. Can create strategies if put on the spot.

Speed:

Dry: Mach 5

Wet: Mach 7

Underwater: mach 7

Electrical sense/control/creation: His creation and control is far stronger than his sisters and his sense is only slightly weaker. He can create solid constructs of electricity five times as powerful as lightning. He is also able to manipulate many energies including primordial.

Water control: Even over primordial or corrupted water his ability to completely control water is unrivaled. He not only controls water but can sense anything connected to it in any way as well as pass to other demensions through it.

Two well used shapeshifting forms

Cthulhu:

Generally he does this after leaping into or out of water. He can shapeshift into an enormous size shifting Cthulhu who not only can swim and run but has enormous spiked wings it is extremely slimy, impossible to burn because of the slime, almost unlimitedly strong, and has various tricks up its...slimy claw/tentacle hand? It's immense rubbery texture makes cutting it almost completely impossible as it seems to slide right off or even around the blade of source of cutting without useful effect. It can heal its entire body back in just seconds all the way back to its enormous size. Although it can't actually speak it makes deep throbbing sound waves that could easily rip entire small states apart and kill everyone in its range. It has extremely enhanced empathy and is entirely immune to mental attacks, magic, psionic, telekinetic, bending, and nearly any other similar form. This Aidan considers his most dangerous form as it can go anywhere with no need for anything. Even inside stars or space.

Nadia:

The smaller but more clever of the two she is the one who generally would do a sneak attack. Her swift and deadly attacks are what grants her an advantage against most opponents.

Humanoid:

Height: 6'

Build: Thin/muscular.

Hair: Long golden.

Eyes: Blue. Reflect ocean life.

Strength:

Dry: 30 tons

Wet: 50 ton

Underwater: 100 ton

Speed:

Dry: mach 7

Wet: Mach 15

Underwater: No limit.

Durability:

Dry: Unphased by super bullets and razor blades.

Wet: Unphased by average tank weaponry.

Underwater: Unphased by cosmic level being attacks.

Intelligence: She is more clever than Aidan while not actually smarter. She could figure out a stealth attack while Aidain can do an attack in motion.

Extreme agility and stealth.

Electrical manipulation/creation/sense: She can sense and create (as well as manipulate existing) electricity. She tends to use this mainly for sudden jolts of electricity or manipulating brainwaives. However she can create controlled lightning bolts.

Aquakinieses: Immensive control over, not only water, but all liquids. This means she can even manipulate a persons blood or the very watter in the air creating illusions. Can also travel to other demensions through water.

Two favorite shapeshifting forms:

Water lady: Can shift into fully water giant. Becomes as strong as a tsunami with even a flick and can barely even be burned. Cutting is completely useless as water just moves around it. She becomes immensly fast. Her limit is the fact she can't leave ground or water so flying is impossible. However she can likely grow high enough to remove that difficulty. She is also invulnerable to magic, bending, telepathy, telekineses, And the like.

Medusa:

A more vicious form she can change into a half snake half woman with snake hair.

In this form she keeps much of her normal abilities except she is also able to summon reptiles and control them.

If she is looked in the eyes of any of her eyes (humanoid head or snake) than the victim will turn to stone.

Extremly powerful venom.

Few weapons can peirce her scales.

Bio: The twins claim to be descendents of an ancient guardian of the waters they have been known to be around for over four thousand years. They however left many alone as they battled other worldy attackers. But now they have returned to be ruling guardians

The Water Dragons (A loyal people of the twins):

The water dragons are a water dwelling people who are extremely dangerous, though peacfully inclined. They appear underwater as very slender blue or white dragon like creatures. They travel by teleportation more than anything else becoming the fastest under water species and having no speed limit while underwater. They have enough durability and strength to rip straight through an entire ship made of vibranium, adamantium, Nth metal, or diamond Even. They're claws and teeth are sharp enough to shred uru metal like it was made from modern printer paper.

While on land they shift to a humanoid reptillian like form covered in scales. They still possess teleporting but can move normally at speeds of mach 10 with ease and precision as if gravity didn't effect them. They're strength is lessened, but only down to 100 tons. And they're sharpness could still easily shred Nth or adamantium. Their durability mostly remains however they become more durable to specially made cutting weapons.

Note: At no moment can they be turned against the twins. They have extremely powerful minds, power, and intelligence to resist any manipulation of them whatsoever.

Dragon warriors.

Dragon warriors are an ancient select group of what was thought to be only humans. They had to be trained in a very special way to do what they do. As a group, they were a cult. But that was mostly forgotten. Some of the ways of old remained but it was mostly in training it resided in, not in the ritualistic sacrificing of dragons that they gained their names from. Dragon warriors had to be able to deflect a sniper bullet with their swords, move too fast for most to keep up even if they had precognition, be much stronger and healthier than a normal human, and use swords. That may sound easy. But it was mostly run by humans. And a human hasn't yet learned how to move fast as a sniper bullet in most cases. So there are few of them. They generally have the ability to deflect fire. Fight with only one of their senses if necessary. Are always trained to be difficult or impossible for a telepath to control or read and don't react to empaths. Ice is not often something they prepare for but they adapt quickly, lord Garian however seems to have an appreciation for it. Some have gained powers from it for unkown reasons. It is possible their diamond swords are the cause of this. Only dragon warriors actually know where they're getting this vast supply of diamonds and how they make them into swords. Some have learned telepathy, telekinesis, or pyro-kinesis. Pyrokinesis being the most common.

The diamond swords are possibly not simply diamond as they can cut into adamantium given enough force, speed, and power. Although they possess most similarities to diamonds they still seem to effectively be one of a more dangerous materials when used as a weapon.

They are under the command of Lord Garian (@lord_garian) who is known as the Dragon Warrior Prime. They are hidden somewhere on Earth but no one can find them.

A very useful fact may be they have discovered different forms of telikinesis, one of them being a form called fire bending. It is a bit different from the better known fire bending. However it holds many similarities. For instance, the firebenders of the dragon warriors are able to bend existing flames or create them themselves. Many of them are also able to produce, direct, and redirect existing lightning (although are better at plasma). It is not magic and requires certain knowldge and skills to remove, in a way it is a tapping into a force.

As dragon warriors are so effective at using energy or fire of multiple sorts their biggest weakness is still cold, so they often wear rather thick clothing not only for protection from cold but it increases their ability to create walls of fire when in groups.

Those with telikinesis (or sub group) often can preform much more powerful cuts and strikes that even the diamond swords shouldn't have been able to hold up to, and yet do.

Average strength: While lifting force seems to be at 1-5 tons once on a move, or using a form of telekineses, they are majorly enhanced reaching up to a freight train at full speed worth of force.

Highly intelligent.

Rarely speak, except some.

Some of the greatests swordsmen ever to exist.

Mysteriously good at getting in and out of places unnoticed.

Often are multilingual.

Even unarmed they are highly dangerous and a force to be reckoned with. Especially those with telekinesis.

They often assist one another should someone attempt to use telikinesis on their weapons or them by using a reverse movement of telikinesis, making telekinetic attack practically useless.

Very few dragon warriors can't use some sort of kinesis or mind power.

The biggest problem was Zeus had the public opinion and if Amicus did anything to stop him all blame would fall on him. Due to him being the warrior he would be the one to help in wars, and that meant death. So he began to lose his sense of humor and joy and was often nonplussed by exciting or joyfull circumstances. Instead he would walk away and watch from a corner.

Lord garian was supposedly human. He was already an incredible fighter with great strategical mind better than any before him known. It was said he had precognition as well as a natural talent to predict outcomes of many things. Joining the dragon warriors at age 26 (long past when most join) he passed not only every dragon warrior alive but even the very first sho was part vampire. Abandoning the traditional twin diamond swords he stole his teacher black blade called Nex. He did things no other man had done including kill a vampire in mist form. Now he is known as the dragon warrior prime.
