@silentnightz: looking back madara did use his EMS on the raikage while sasuke only had the MS. Sasuke doesn't need to be the best of the best, he's already good enough since he managed to put deidara in one and he's been training to counter itachi's genjutsu, but still couldn't do anything against sasukes genjutsu.

I'll have to reread the earlier chapter, but one big feat is kaguya putting the world in a genjutsu before chakra was thing among people. Say what you will but genjutsu is still genjutsu regardless of how its done.

@silentnightz: except the raikage was looking directly at sasuke. He even said that "mere sharigan is no match for me" but later was taken down by madara with mere sharingan. Point is that sasuke wasn't good enough to put him in a genjutsu at the time. You can resist a sharingan genjutsu just fine of you're trained well enough, clearly sasuke was too much for Cee.

Also the chakra thing was debunked. Animals and normal people were put in a genjutsu. Show me some illusion resisting feats from Gil.

The same Raikage that fell to basic genjutsu from madara? Did you forget that they're trained to counter genjutsu? Sasuke wasn't good enough to trap the raikage but he still managed to trap a genjutsu specialist. I dont recall gilthunder having any illusion resisting feats.

Samurai 8 already introduced another planetary baddie. Not to mention they already deal with souls. So they definitely have some big potential.

Doesnt he need to be killed in 3 different ways to stay completely dead? I haven't read bastard in a few years so feel free to correct me.

As of right now no one comes close. The only verse that maybe have someone in the future is samurai 8.

@solidshadow134: power levels are divided into 3 categories. Strength, magic, and spirit. Those 3 combined make the total PL. You cant really hide your strength with the way they measure PL so the mangaka uses it as a way to show just how strong a character is. However there are characters who are stronger in only one category.

A character called galan had a power level of 21,000 when he first appeared but he his magic was Zero. Meaning that his power was only in strength and spirit.

Depends. In dragon ball they become completely worthless during the namek saga due to being able to hide your PL so that's why people use scaling instead. In the seven deadly sins they take power levels more seriously and therefore you can tell exactly how characters stack up with just PL alone.

@matvelbo77: he was able to blitz hachimaru during a spar. The same hachimaru who can react to futuristic tank rounds and managed to fend off ata for a few seconds (even though ata was weakened).
