The surprise ending made me go woah, and i was hit with sudden reliasation, Geoff Johns talking about Hope and optimism of the DC universe and the apparent threat represents a cynical and pessimistic world...That's some thematic beauty right there. Insanely curious to see where it all goes...Saturn Girl, the atom, doctor fate and the blue beetle, the justice society.....Hope burns bright!
Read rebirth and am honestly so happy, but lack of Connor, Cassie and Bart does bum me out, but i believe in Geoff Johns and believe we will see them again, hopefully soon.
Been surfing the net extremely carefully to avoid spoilers, avoiding reviews, articles, every stray headline with rebirth in the title for the past week, so i can have a completely unadulterated experience of this book save for this preview.
Just realising who the narrator was made me squeal. Tomorrow's gonna be awesome! The DC Universe's tomorrow is looking bright!
Jeez Zack, i give you the benefit of the doubt, I support you, i liked Batman v Superman even though it was structurally flawed.
I'm open to interpretation and am really fascinated with the real world themes being explored in these films, but....
You can't sacrifice the core aspects of essence of these characters for plausibility. I liked this movie version of Lex but him figuring out everyones secret identities irked me quite a bit especially when in the comics they portray it as people not even thinking Superman has a secret Identity and Lex's ego wouldn't allow for him to believe that a being with that kind of power would walk among us.
And Lex would not act the way he did if he knew their secret identities, he'd destroy their lives.
Secret identities are core aspects of these characters, how the heck did he figure out Batman's?!
Also, killing off Jimmy Olsen and saying you're having fun with the character because he doesn't fit with the universe...
And last and most important, you can't have the heroes interacting in their Superhero garb?!! WTF!?! Because it's silly?!?! THATS WHAT PEOPLE ARE PAYING TO SEE!!!!!! Notice how the mature Justice League unlimted and Young Justice animated shows are so freaking Loved by everyone!!

ITS CALLED SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF AND IS THE BASE TO THESE STORIES. Like people not believing Clark Kent is superman Or Superman not having to kill at any point being as unbelieveable as him being able to fly but i don't want to get into all that now.
And you say you're trying to stay faithful to the comics....
Damn. Zack you give us visuals that sometimes surpass even our own imaginations in making comic panels come to life. And i'm not gonna sign any petitions, but you are not the guy to helm this cinematic universe...
How is Geoff Johns agreeing with all this?!
You know what sucks, as much as i like the movies so far, these little things that Zack says literally breaks my heart and he has his hands in everything, Damn am i in a bad mood now....
