Nice. If this is true then I'm excited because Black Lightning is starting to get up there with some awesome characters recently. (Not in the comic now, just in general as I'm reading older issues with him in it). I'd rather the TV and Film of DC stay separate. If Berlanti is doing it it'll go into his universe most likely, and that'll be cool.

Forever Evil is definitely one of the best of the New 52. I read it without reading anything before it and found it enjoyable, but I'd recommend reading the Trinity War Trade (it's just a mess trying to figure out which issues in which trades to read otherwise) to give more context, and just that I really enjoyed Trinity War. For what's worth checking out of JL in the N52 I'd say

Vol 1, Vol 3, Vol 6 of Justice League

Trinity War, and Forever Evil go between volumes 3 and 6.

The way I look at this incarnation of the JL is exactly how Geoff Johns expressed his goal with the book, and that's to look at it as a summer action movie blockbuster. It's fun, but there isn't much depth to either character or story. I really enjoyed it until recently. I've been going back and reading the 1997 run of JLA, and based just on volumes 1-5 I can see how the N52 JL title turned people off. With that said, I do believe Forever Evil is the closest story that felt on par with the pre-N52 comics, and I think that's why it's one of people's favorites.

Wow, I don't remember him from either one. I'm assuming YJ is on the left? If that's the case I'll go with the DCAU on the right.

Young Justice definitely. His episodes were some of the best.

Argh! This is probably the toughest round yet. I love both for separate reasons, but I think I have to go with DCAU even though YJ had more heart with him.

Well, I wouldn't say all of DC is Christian, but God was a character, basically, or at least talked about in Morrison's run of JLA. He even introduced the angel Zaurial to connect it even more, and even had one issue where the Spectre and Zaurial pretty much just debate God. So, I view him as just another character in the DC comics.
