While I agree numbers will go down over the months, I do think that this is some of the best stuff DC has been putting out in years so I believe the drop off won't be as big as people think. Or, it will and DC will see a spike in their trade division since they've stated that a lot of their sales are coming from that area more and more. Will be interesting once 2017 comes around.

As for Marvel, I thought their comics were doing well? I don't read them since what they do makes me mad, but I thought because of the MCU Marvel was ahead in comics as well...that and star wars.

Really? I guess we have different tastes because the only bad title out of Rebirth for me is Justice League. So far I'm loving everything that I've been reading. Action has been super fun, and Superman has been my favorite comic out of Rebirth. And on that note I'd like to ask what didn't make sense, because it's consistent from my perspective.

One of the biggest surprises out of Rebirth for me is Aquaman. I liked his beginning issues, but after issue 4 I'm shocked at how great this comic is, and balancing the tricky legal system that Aquaman has to follow from two worlds. It just gets better with each issue.

@jb681131: To be fair I haven't read a good Justice League story yet. I've read some of Morrison's run, and some of Meltzer's run, and both of them were at best okay. Johns never went out to create a great Justice League comic. He focused on the fun, and has stated many times that he approached JL as a summer popcorn movie. That's what I got, that's what I like. For volume 1 I liked seeing all the characters coming together and seeing them different than what we know (because at that point in time they should have been) and I had fun with it. Volume 2 did a little more with the story, and had more character interactions. Once again I enjoyed it, but in the N52 JL title I liked 1 and 2 as solid stories as well as volume 6. I didn't like 3-5 that much since it depended heavily on events and thus wasn't that good.

Justice League is your favorite comic? What runs or stories did you like before the New 52?

As to the New 52 it's pretty much loosey goosey. You can start at volume one and work your way through all the issues, or just pick one at random. Each volume is pretty much a self contained arc that rarely has any effect with the next arcs after it. I've found my favorite volumes to be 1, 2, and 6. I haven't dived into the Darkseid War yet, but this title was treated as a summer movie blockbuster for each arc, so in theory you could pick up any volume and have a decent understanding of what's going on while enjoying the action.

I would choose Detective over Batman and Superman over Action.

Detective is basically Batfamily bonding over Batman solo title.

Superman is about him raising his son, while Action is introducing him (Superman) into the universe again.

Why would he need to be amplified? He took down the whole Avengers once. By himself.

I want some lower level characters get their shine on and hopefully step up to be recognizable once again. Like you I think they'll probably start with heavy hitters like Martian Manhunter, but I'm hoping for some Black Lightning, Animal Man (Does JLU count or did they disband?), Swamp Thing (would be a stretch, but nonetheless interesting) , one or more of the titans like Flash (wally) Nightwing, etc.

I'd say the best intro to Batman is the most recent stuff. The New 52 with Snyder is very dark and one of the most praise worthy Batman runs. Or recently Batman rebirth has been lighter and as good. As to other bat family titles for the love of Batman read Batman and Robin New 52 with Tomasi and Gleason. Epic run, so many emotions. And the recent Detective comics is a good who's who in the bat family.

@jb681131: You think Johns will promote the animated sector? As much as I want Young Justice to come back, and Beware the Batman, I don't see that happening. Just helping out on the live action films takes a lot out of someone, and while I can see the shorts and showcase possibly making a comeback I don't see much hope in the animated realm besides what we've been getting. One Justice League animated film, One Batman film, and One "Elseworld" film. That's what they're doing, and that's what's bringing in the money.

While I'm happy for what this means to the live action treatment of DC's property, like everyone else I'm very disappointed that this will mean he either write a little bit here and there, or he'll be so busy that he won't write any comics for some time.
