Detective Comics. After five issues of Batman I haven't seen anything where I need to pick up more of it, whereas Detective Comics only gets better with each issue. Also, everything you love about Batman is in it and more.

I'd definitely invest in the GL Omnibus if you like the character. It really feels epic when going through the stories and you're seeing these smaller, more personal stories transcend to space epics in some of the best comic writing in the new millennium. I own the first two and definitely worth it.

That's the only Omnibus I own, but I'd say JSA might be another one to look into.

@scouterv: Um...isn't he? Or is this Red X a she? I can't tell. Either way I figured villain because they look like one, and on Teen Titans they had a Red X "villain"

Um....both? Honestly both I'd really enjoy, but I went with Red X. He looks like a really cool villain, and I love DC villains.

@apokos7: Thanks! That's really helpful. I guess my next hurdle will have to be finding those oop volumes of JLI.

Okay, so I'm planning on diving into the Justice League before Morrison began his JLA run, and while I'm loving that DC is putting together lots of Justice League trades for the near future I must admit that I'm confused as to which order they are in. For instance, I know that Justice League International happened before Morrison's JLA, but in the description it looks like the issues switch titles a lot, and when I'm trying to match them up against say Superman and the Justice League, or the upcoming Wonder Woman and the Justice League, I can't tell if they come after JLI or before. Is there a place or website that deals with this trade timeline, or does anybody know how these books are connected to one another?

@scouterv: What about Superman, Action, and Flash don't you like? I feel like Action gives you exactly what its title promises, and does it in a simple story so I'm not complaining. The deeper superman stories will be in the Superman title which I've been loving mostly because it's another father-son book. As for Flash I think it's an interesting look into the character as well as an expanded exploration of the Speed Force mythology.

I'd go Gryffindor. Out of all the houses that one seems to have more of the warriors. Focusing on courage and heroism, I'd say that's best for what Wonder Woman is. Ravenclaw has the smarts, and in any incarnation I haven't seen WW making detailed plans like Batman. Slytherin were a mix of tricksters and evil wizards, and again WW always seemed to me that she wore who she is out in the open. What you see is what you get, so no go. I can't think of anything significant happening in the Hufflepuff house so that just leaves Gryffindor. That's my thought process.

Yes. It always played on Sunday mornings earlier this year and I tried to catch them whenever possible. They are fun, and I like older television so I always had a blast with each episode.

I love how strong Detective is looking, if one issue goes down the next goes up.
