This thread is a bad joke. Doom has demolished enemies far greater than Superman with _far less_ preptime. A year to prepare? I understand pre-crisis Superman had that whole plot device factor, but come on! If the Beyonder can fall to Dr. Doom with just a day or two of prep, then what do you think a year is going to do for Doom in this situation?

Clearly this is copying the "hit me" scene from The Dark Knight, and even on the DC wikia page I got it from the picture was entitled, "Joker's impression of himself". I'm wondering where this came from. Is it fan art or some actual comic book?

How strong of a hand-to-hand fighter is she? I know she's good at stealth and such, but I'd love to see some scans of various times she's fought someone -- anyone for that matter -- so I can get a good idea of how tough she is.

Thanks in advance.

@Enigman: Nah, it's okay. It's pretty easy to fall into that misconception due to so many sources portraying it like that. It has been like that at least once in canon comics, but once or two out of 50 years is not the norm. I suppose as a plot device it's okay, but that whole "remove his helmet" thing is old, stale, and really only applies to Juggernaut.

But yeah, no sweat.

Well... what's the point if neither one can ever beat the other? They fight until one of them gets bored?

His resistance to psychics doesn't come from his helmet. That's in the movies, some cartoons, and the Ultimate comic books. Regardless, I stated that he's able to resist Xavier, but Manhunter is superior to him in that level so it's a non-factor anyhow. There are other ways he could take him down, but I'd say his best bet is to just use psychic powers and such.

Well logic would dictate that since Jason X is same ol Jason just even more amped up, he'd have the same intelligence and fighting style but with an extra advantage. He knows how he thinks (okay, I'm having a hard time not laughing at that because aside from killing and hiding bodies, he does little thinking) and would have superior weapons AND knows the territory they are fighting in just as well as his past counterpart.

Maybe if the "past" Jason had some sort of weapons that the other can't access then it'd be a little more fair. I despise Jason X, but will have to vote for him for a win.

If Havok is at bloodlust and he just radiates out a huge blast of his plasma energy wouldn't that just fry any charged objects flying his way.... as well as Gambit's flesh...?

Right now I'm thinking Havok wins.

Uhh... Martian Manhunter would obliterate Magneto. Magneto's psychic resistances are usually strong enough to fend off Xavier, but Manhunter...? Jeez. That alone not to mention all the other Superman like abilities... Curbstomp from hell.

Juggernaut could win but he'd need to land a hit. Venom might be slower than Spidey, but he's not exactly slow compared to Juggernaut. Still, Juggernaut doesn't need to eat, can do a sonic clap (ouch) and can also use magic if he uses a brain cell for once. Venom can't pull any of these stunts off.
