I was watching some YouTube vids about these two guys and I gotta say I’m intrigued. I’ve never read any titles with any of these two. What are good titles to read? Or any NEWER titles so I’m in the loop?
@hawk2916: There's so much potential now that Cullen's finally using him more and tipping the scales. What you said would be pretty cool and a pretty fresh idea. I can see the opposing team capturing Josh and make him do what they want. The 16 million storyline would be pretty sick and it would show Josh's omega level status. Reviving Cyc to lead the X-men once again would be a pretty good way to bring him back.
This thread is pretty cool like I didn't expect some people throwing in ideas for his story and his powers and stuff. Just thinking of the potential now is getting me hyped. Come on Cullen make Elixir a thing!
@ashetdust: Exactly what Pika said! They touched that topic in Uncannyxmen X-men Annual 2016. There is life and death for a reason and Elixir can control that. He feels the burden of that.
@Pikachunicorn: I love Josh so much! He's definitely grown a lot as a character and I'm loving the direction Cullen is taking him. Uncanny X-men Annual 2016 broke my heart with the cover. Him holding his grave and feeling the pain of his powers. Poor Josh, he didn't want this. The tipping the scales thing is a pretty good thing to add and makes his powers have consequences. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next to Josh!

Reviving Cyc would be nothing to him. Also I think Monet said something about him raising 16 million people from the dead WITHOUT touching them like he used to, all he did was raise his hands up and his gold light shined on them. Elixir can die but he comes back to life again and again and again. That's why he was mad at Mags cuz he knew he'd come back one way or another. I feel like Cullen purposely left Elixir with Exodus so we can wonder what's going to happen next cuz they went off into nowhere. I'm just glad that Josh is finally getting used and his powers expanded.

Ahh okay that makes sense. I feel that with Cyc, he doesn't feel like my Cyclops or anything like that leader I know and love. And also like I said about new experiences, these guys don't have the old experiences that the original ones do such as Dark Phoenix saga and M day and stuff that changed them.
The couple thingy yes it's true. I wouldn't even throw in Black Bolt and Medusa because of the Human Torch thing they had. I'd throw in Wiccan and Hulkling too, they're pretty happy and content but that's about it for couples.
I wanna see Scott and Jean get back together. Bring back that couple that experienced love and lost together. Sure emma helped Scott grow but Scott and Jean were that couple we all know.
@ursaber: For sure, Cyc was the leader of the X-men so I do miss him. As for Elixir I want him to be in more stuff. The plots he's in he's usually there for a little and then something happens to him so he's not in it for the rest of the story. He's got incredible powers and can really change the game up.
O5 means original 5 right? I like them, I know a lot of people don't like them but I think they're enjoyable. The teen hero aspect has been done a lot but it's nice seeing familiar faces we all know and love in young age. Them starting again I can see why. I don't feel like they're starting over because they're All New X-men (see what I did there) so they're gonna have new experiences and things to do. I guess I like that aspect of them.
