@dernman: That's how I was reading it. The lighting and reflective nature of her statements and the fact that he didn't talk at all, not to mention the lighting around him, all point to this being in her head. Keep in mind that this is a preview, made to sell copies. They only showed us just enough for people to assume when he's alive, and while it is a possibility, I doubt it.

This looks like an interesting series, but it feels like a retread of old X-Men series in terms of theme, plotline, and overall team format. The comparisons to the X-Men I feel are very warranted, especially now that Gorgon's in a wheelchair. I'm sure there's some sort of logical explanation, but it makes me feel so Professor X-like it hurts. Not to mention our leading lady seems to be very Jean Grey esque in her attitude and how her powers are manifesting on the 3rd page, but I'm not as familiar with Crystal as I would like. But at least she's not the token female with Naja along for the ride.

Gonna pass on this, reads blandly and the angle is nothing we can't already pick up. Dr. Strange is doing the same thing but infinitely better. It's a shame, Hercules has always been rather boring; was hoping this might inject some character in him.

The dialogue for this is SO exposition-y. I really want to like this, but the writing quality is clearly less than optimal.
