imo yes

If I recall correctly, this fight seemed to have erupted suddenly. It's not like he said, "BRB, I gotta go to Wakanda to get something, and when I come back, then I'll be ready for you".

In the same book, he also had energy knives spawned from his suit, so it's unknown what else it could do.

Of course. There are people in every group that are prejudiced against other groups, and the stronger the presence of one cultural group in a region, the more normal the popular view will seem and the more likely people will be to treat it as the only acceptable view.

That being said, the problem shouldn't be overstated. I live in the Bible Belt and grew up as a fundamentalist Christian, and I know of nobody who would consider atheism the same as devil worship nor do I know many people who would treat people badly because they are atheists.

On CV, we have an abnormally high atheists population, and one among the crowd was proudly proclaiming that he was a bigot against all religions the other day and hated all religious people. That's clear prejudice, but it's not unique to atheism. That sort of "I'm right and everyone who disagrees with me is an A-hole" sentiment is present in all groups to some degree.

Pretty much.

But alas, I know some people will argue as if it's a unique idea to religion only.

Jewish people in high positions of powers; especially in the pre-social network area could control what gets talked about and what doesn't. It also helps that:

  • He's white
  • It happened a long time ago

Nonsense! Everyone in every facet of society is equal!

Him being white has nothing to do with it!

@kuonphobos: I'm not trying to sound abrasive in any way, but what exactly do those prove?

That certain races aren't more privileged than others or that these unfair biases in society don't really exist?

I mean, it sounds like that encyclopedia page was written by angry internet dudes on the internet who don't understand the point (sans the Tumblr social justice warriors, some of whom may falsely label with people that are actually making a valid point)

According to Iggy, the criticism comes from her being a woman......

Just a few things:

1. I'm beginning to think that less and less people know anything about rap.

2. I'm beginning to think that she doesn't know a damn thing that she's talking about.

3. This goes in with 1, and just African American culture, but I think that most people that speak about the culture (or, in this case, let's just limit it to rap) have no damn idea what they're talking about.

But whatever, these idiots will only continue to grow in number and dominate.

And the best part is that her blind fans will claim that they can't see where this criticism comes from. No, it's just that you don't want to see it.

But whatever, sh*t like this will always continue and stupidity will only grow.

Okay, so I guess I've come to an answer.

Scientifically, the only thing that science literally supports is that when we die, that is it. Eternal oblivion, as if we never existed, and everything about us, for all intents and purposes, never meant anything. Every possibility that our consciousness lives on in some form is only carried on by faith, and shot down by the truth of science.

I don't know why I came to a comic site for comfort, but this was too overwhelming for me, and it still is, but it doesn't really matter anymore.

Although this answer made me sick, and it's making my chest hurts, I can't deny the truth. We just die, and that's it. We know this and try to come up with a myriad of things to take our mind off of it. We try to occupy ourselves, or we tell ourselves some BS answer in denial, such as "Life has the meaning that you give it" or "You'll live on in their memories" when that's pretty much just some secular continuation of consciousness. It may as well be a religion. In reality, I don't really think that I will ever be at peace with the idea that my day-to-day survival is literally pointless, as my survival is ultimately doomed from the start. It's a bit contradictory for us, as animals, to fear for our survival when we're gonna die anyway, and we know this. We can just make up some answer that puts our mind at ease, but the reality is that everything will die as if it never existed, and it doesn't even matter. Survival is, in my opinion, facking pointless. It doesn't really matter and it never did.

I want this locked now

@sc@bumpyboo

Lastly, thanks from everyone. I really appreciate it
