@tryingtochill: The OP says hand 2 hand, so if the chimp isn't allowed to use it's teeth this would be a clear cut victory for the world's strongest man who would be about twice the size of the chimp. Though you are right, the teeth will be a huge problem if they are allowed, though the man should still win imo.

By hand to hand I doubt the poster means literally a battle restricted to just the hands. Usually hand to hand just means unarmed and in close-quarter combat. Also, he did actually list MMA and BJJ in the OP, which are both sports that heavily utilise the legs.

I have to disagree with you on the world's strongest man's capabilities on chimp-pugilism. As I have previously stated, martial arts will be essentially useless. Anyway, we have a lack of information here. To my knowledge there is no scientific consensus as to the definitive strength of a chimpanzee. I found studies professing strength from twice to five times as strong as a human's. Furthermore, chimps are simply built differently. We have no idea how much blunt force is required to knock out a chimpanzee. We have no idea how much strength would be required to snap its neck.

I doubt skill in martial arts will be a large factor here, since said disciplines have been developed for combat against humans, and not bloody chimpanzees. If two humans were to approach each other with fighting intent, even a non-martial artist could be reasonably sure of what his opponent's attack would look like. But unless the world's strongest man has somehow acquired anteceding experience with chimp fights, it would be impossible for him to have the faintest inkling of what the hell the chimp would do.

What's more, the man will have no cutting weapons, so the chimp already has a significant advantage with its teeth.

With the current filler stuff going on in the manga I don't think we'll ever see monster garou in this lifetime

Don't worry, I'll get my great grandson to inscribe the chapter into your gravestone when it comes out.

Now there seem to be some polarising viewpoints here, and I'm afraid I don't have enough knowledge of Atom to comment. With that said,

Captain Atom's stupid tinfoil body is going to get stripped apart layer by layer and that ugly smear of ketchup on his chest is going to be forced down his throat in front of his weeping children, unless he does not have any, in which case any existing relative will do.

The top WWE guys are maybe at best low peak human. Actually, most could only dream of low peak human capabilities. Throw a pebble down the street in Hollywood and it would probably hit a dozen action heroes who would be able to pick the WWE apart like an older brother with a Barbie Doll. Well, the pebble you threw probably wouldn't hit them. They would probably dodge. But still.

If Ice King's jobbing aura is turned off, he might solo. Marceline and Jake are nothing to scoff at either.

If we take best showings then I'm behind you all the way. AT crew would get janitors of the year for wiping the floor.

But as Cosmic Templar said, the AT folks have the most erratic showings since Goku's 40 ton training, and aside from Finn and Jake the others only have limited experience fighting together. Also, sun.

@xerolot: Sweeeet. I would like the preeminent Mr Grylls to be portrayed with the following image, so that my opponents will know just whom they are up against.

@xerolot: This still open? If it is can I reserve a spot first and spend like half a point on Bear Grylls just cause I want him?
