Good point. maybe i should reconsider calling it the god killer sword until it actually does it, so maybe if it actually does it in the next issue or 2 we can revisit this. Although technically its never failed to kill a god either since its never been used to do so yet. But sure, I like your idea. From now on i'll just call it the gold sword slade uses. and the necro sword will remain the sometimes god killer sword.

i have no problems with you thinking he's multiversal or not. my only issue was with you incorrectly stating darkseid was horribly wounded. and now youre saying he was incapacitated, which also isn't true.
@truth_teller: It was completely effective since it's killed the eye as it was intended. He was unable to use omega beams after Wonder Woman and Aquaman's attacks.
it was not a "horrible wound" as you stated. in fact, it happened to him again later in the Earth 2 book and he healed from it completely within a couple of panels. and both times it happened he was not horribly wounded. he still continued fighting just fine. horribly wounded means someone is damn near in their death bed. getting his eyes gouged out is not a horrible wound for darkseid.
took a punch from superman. it created an AoE attack. turned into a big metal cacoon around superman. superman broke through it. it reformed without a problem. and thats pretty much it. as i said earlier, it doesnt have stabbing or slashing feats on high end characters. just on demonic type characters. Why do you ask?

We've been over this. I'm basing it on the assumption that it will actually be a god killer sword and not a "sometimes god killer sword" like the necro sword. Thats really the only thing that makes me think slade would beat thor here. im not even basing my opinion on the fact that slades sword hits back twice as hard as slades enemy.

I have the book. Getting your eye completely stab through is a horrible wound where i come from. Living Tribunal is multiversal, i don't see his face getting penetrated and blinded by Namor
getting stabbed in the eye is definitely a horrible wound...for us. Not for Darkseid. It had little effect on him and he was not horribly wounded.
