@aros001: They could do it like new 52 Superman. Kill the current universe version and replace him with the version that everyone liked better along with his family.
Except the current universe is the Spider-Man that's always been around... they can just bring MJ back with Peter then have the pregnancy in a year or two, have the child grow up then.... eh, a permanent spider-family? We'd get bored and it'd become a hassle to write. I feel Renew Your Vows is food enough
This the EXACT type of thinking that led us to the retarded stupid and unforgivable One More Day. Are you intentionally trolling?
If these are the new ''Top team'' of the future... Earth is doomed.
Then it really will need some avenging...
I disagree with both of you actually.
Miles is basically mini Spider-man(with more powers and honestly a greater combat potential In the future)
Khamala Khan is basically mini Mr. Fantastic(With better combat skills imo, because Mr. Fan never used his powers as well as Khan's is displayed. Khan is more so about enlargement)
Cho is mini Hulk (but is Smarter thus is a better team player than original hulk could ever be)
Viv is mini Vision (probably weaker as of now, but I don't see why she can't reach her dad's level)
Cyclops is Cyclops.... (Since adult scott's powers were enhanced by Pheonix Force I doubt Mini Scott will reach his level naturally)
Nova is mini Nova(but I doubt he will ever reach Rider's potential)
You have to take into account that they are teens right now, and at least 3 of them have the potential to surpass the the adult versions of their powersets. So as long as they are the team of the FUTURE. They can be formindable. There have been weaker Avenger teams.
So hypothetically it would be a team of a (enhanced)Spider-man, (enhanced)Mr Fantastic, (Smarter)Hulk, Vision, Cyclops, and Nova
Does anyone else think the Amazing Spider-man comics have been lowkey boring since Secret Wars and the new status quo? I didn't find the last arc engaging at all
@bluehope: @mrnoital: Nope, never revealed but hinted here and there. I suspect that the writer and editors of OS-event thought the whole whisper-business as far less important than the readers, never giving any real thought to it, and it has caught them with their pants down.
How can Miles Morales and the Maker be alive and kicking in 616? I doubt there's ever going to be satisfactory answers beyond somewhat condescending -well duh! Fractions of it survived the merger and were then scattered across the multiverses yadda yadda ya.
Miles is alive and kicking because He gave Molecule Man a burger and Molecule Man saved him from 1610's destruction as a thank you. Was a pretty cool moment
Real talk: The Superman rebirth comics are amazing. Both of them. Action comics and Superman. I haven't been this interested and invested in superman in YEARS. Bringing back the old superman was the best decision regarding superman DC has done in years. The family dynamic is amazing and makes me wish Marvel had the balls to do it with Spider-man.
Read it. Great art, terrible motivations. Carol is full on villain. Tony is actually attempting to talk stuff out. He explained how the visions weren't seeing the actual future, and was even backed up by the beast. I see NO REASON why the guardians of the galaxy would even show up. Literally makes no sense and they aren't even apart of the superhero community tbh. Glad she Hulk is alive(even though a missile REALLY Shouldn't hurt her. Mad that they really did only kill off the black guy(Black guy dies first trope still alive).
On another note: I am so sick of the way carol looks. I wish authors wouldn't confuse strength with masculinity. I think it SHOULD be insulting to women that in order to make carol a "strong character" marvel felt the need to masculinize her,
