Plot

The purpose of this story is not to bring back the original alpha flight. but instead have a new alpha flight that does not start with the government. This story starts off with 2 men doing what they call civic duty to defend their home from criminals who think they can walk all over canada after the fall out of Civil war during the Super Heroes registraition act. This takes place a month after Omega Flight's appearance against the Wrecking Crew.

Well there was a recent interview with Alex Litvak who written the new predators movie, he said that he can not give the fans what they want. he is going to do to he-man what he did to predators, and make it new and edgy.
so the first thing he is going to do away with is get rid of the transformations, their will technically be no he-man only prince adam. no cringer but there will be battle cat. the movie is essentially a war between technology and magic.
skeletor is not going to be a floating skull from what Alex had suggested. he plans to make skeletor be a guy with a skeleton face mask.he said he was inspired by Heath ledger from dark knight.
but yes he will appease the fans, it will be on eternia, and there will be characters like tri-klops, man-at-arms and teela. he gave us that. but he is basically going to ignore the main canon which exists for the series.
now i am not a fan of his work. i really am not. but letting this man tackle one of my childhood heroes just infuriates me, and Alex describing how he is doing the movie is not paying any sort of homage to the series at all. i've seen predators it was trash for me as i loved the original canon of the series. to me he is another Michael bay going out there trying to make a quick dollar off a fan base.

Facts about he-man, He-man only has a standard super strength that of thor. but his strength can increase to do more impossible feats, like moving an entire mountain or picking up a castle. this is achieved when he again taps into the power of greyskull. to get the idea of what the power of greyskull is we have to go back into it.
King Greyskull himself only came to the realization of his power, due to his caring nature, wisdom, and courage of his spirit created a pure magical energy. during his death this energy was passed on to his friends which became the council of elders who ruled eternia for five centuries. during that time they too ruled much as greyskull would have or could have thus increasing the magical power of greyskull 500x over. rather than die, the elders formed their bodies into a single object for which the magical power of greyskull could be focused in. and now reside in castle greyskull though he-man can take many sorts of punishment, unless he is using full strength of the mystical powers he can be knocked out much like superman. one strong throw into a mountain head first and he will revert back to adam. think of billy bastion

One battle i worry about is the hulk. cause if he tries to kill he-man im afraid it might escalate. and when that happens he-man will find out quick that hulk can heal from any cuts he lays on, then will decide there is only one way to stop the hulk. cutting his head off. and another thing to go on topic about is He-man's power sword though princes adamas sword looks the same it is not as durable as he-mans. untill he uses the power of greyskull, the sword is just regular eternian metal. this was part of the disguise so no one could figure out that adam had the power sword. so the sword could be bent, bluinted down, or even broken. of course it would have to be repaired if broken, but when he becomes he-man the mystical energies would make the sword damn near impossible to break. plus it changes it size from a short sword to a damn near long blade.

i have a list of people who i think could defeat he-man:

  • Captain America (unfortunately, the adamantium/vibranium shield could stop the sword but not damage it. especially with super agility like that)
  • Dr.Doom (Doom knows magic when he see's it he would try to find some way to syphon off that magical power)
  • Deadpool (i hate to say it but he can just teleport and stab he-man from behind with his blades, he-man maybe resistant to concussions and magical blasts but sharp objects still get through his skin.)
  • Task Master (same deal but with his photographic reflexes he could out manuver he-man in no time, stabby stabby)
  • Iron fist (okay he killed a dragon with his bare hands)
  • Wolverine (he does not give up, and if he see's he-man as a real threat he will try to kill him)

In a one on one battle without knowledge about each others powers, it would just be an initial charge and then punch.
Magic: Superman's biomatrix is his most powerful asset, but the strength of this field is also its greatest weakness. It's permeability to certain wavelengths makes Superman vulnerable to certain radiations, particularly magical energies whose chaotic electromagnetic or extradimensional signatures disrupt this forcefield. Superman's vulnerability to magic varies on the special effects of the magic. No magic seems to be able to directly destroy him unless it comes from a semi-divine or divine source. He can be injured and worn down by magical entities. Magic can have powerful and unpredictable effects on Superman and his magical enemies have often proven to be the most dangerous. Recently, Superman has learned more about magic with the help of Zatanna and he is able to counter almost every spell. Magic has unknown effect on him. He was able to survive when he had a magical sword in the chest and a magical arrow in his back. It was during a fight against four Elder Gods.
so by this we can conclude that the wavelength or chaotic power that the power of greyskull has on superman is that one hit can bust a tooth out of superman's mouth as the strength given to prince adam is magical, much like Captain Marvel (or shazam), and that the sword of power is magical as well so it can penatrait his skin. and about the heat vision, he-man does deflect laser blasts on a daily basis, it being undead skeleton minions or even robot minions.
another thing was mentioned about he-man's stamina or even how much endurance he has. the man is slammed into a mountain every second episode of the 200x series and the old cartoon, its amazing he is still walking after that.
but some of the information gets skewered cause in some comics it shows him getting stabbed in the leg by a sword from Tri-klops, and others show him getting pummeled into mountains. so sharp objects hurt he-man but energy weapons and mountains still allow him to keep going. i guess he-mans weakness is pointy sticks.

by the way this is my first post and only joined this site cause i saw this discussion.
