Powers That are Hosted

These are powers that more take up residence inside the user. Could be due to being a vessel for a powerful sentient being, thereby being empowered/enhanced by it (Phoenix force, Tailed Beasts, Emotional Embodiments), or by having the power choose/bestowed upon you (Enigma Force/Unipower, Power Cosmic, Nova Force, SHAZAM, Spirit of Vengeance) or by discovering it (Starbrand, Omega Force, Astro Force)

  • In addition to the protective molecular shell (the standard issue CU uniform) which nullifies the harmful effects of exposure to temperature extremes, radioactive particles, etc. and the memories of all the previous Captain Universes. The Uni-Power gives its host several abilities that, depending on how the host wields the power and how strong their willpower is, can make mortal men into Gods or simple Street Level Superheroes.     Captain Universe's powers and power levels vary from partner to partner, presumably to meet the demands of the job at hand. The Uni-Power also enhances the powers and abilities of a host who already has such powers and abilities. Powers that remain relatively constant include:

    Uni-Vision: a sort of cosmic consciousness. Captain Universe can sense things on a subatomic level or at great distances. This power can also force someone to tell the truth.

    Matter/Energy Manipulation: Captain Universe can divert an energy flow in a different direction or convert it into a different type of energy. Diverting the flow of gravitons, for example, allows flight. Captain Universe can also change matter at the atomic level, for instance, to transmute one substance into another or to change an object's shape.

    The costume (or the Uni-Power itself) protects against extremes in temperature.

  • S for Solomon

    S is for the wisdom of Solomon. The wisdom of Solomon gives Billy great knowledge, perception, comprehension and insight. By mystical means, Solomon is actually able to speak to Billy during his times of need. The wisdom of Solomon gives Billy many intellectual abilities, some known and other yet unknown. Some of these specific abilities are a photographic memory, omni-linguistic and advanced knowledge of war strategy and tactics.

    Superhuman Knowledge: Captain Marvel posses a vast amount of knowledge about facts that he had no encountered previously. Billy is able to make guesses about subjects that he had no prior knowledge to but is able to answer with incredible accuracy.

    Clairvoyance: Captain Marvel is able to change disadvantages to advantages even though he is not fully aware of the situation at hand.

    Hypnosis: Marvel is able to hypnotize his opponents but this does not work on people who are of a very strong mind.

    Omnilingual: Captain Marvel has the ability to speak any language and can even communicate with aliens.

    Good Conscience: Marvel always has help from Solomon with making decisions, an example would be when he wanted to divulge the info of his identity to the JSA, Solomon strongly advised against it.

    H for Hercules

    Superhuman Strength of Captain Marvel

    H is for the strength of Hercules, strongest of the gods. Billy is empowered with Hercules' nearly limitless superhuman-strength which is often compared to that of Superman. As such, Captain Marvel's strength is of the highest level and is sufficiently vast enough that it enables him to lift/move unbelievably massive and/or heavy objects possibly on a planetary scale or higher with little effort. Because his strength level is so high and potentially dangerous, Billy Batson constantly uses great restraint, thus he usually only uses as much strength or force as is necessary to accomplish whatever his given task or challenge requires. Because of this he is not often seen moving objects of a planetary scale though accomplishing such tasks are well within his abilities.

    Superhuman Strength: Captain Marvel has the ability to lift well over 100 tons with minimal effort and has battled top tier beings such as Superman, Wonder Woman and Black Adam. Captain Marvel has stalemated Superman in an arm wrestling contest and has at least matched Wonder Woman in raw strength. The limits, if there actually are any, of Captain Marvel's strength are unknown.

    Corporal Enhancement: When Billy Batson transforms into Shazam he gains the added muscle of a very well developed full-grown man as well as the accompanying height and weight, often appearing larger and more muscularly bulky than Superman himself.

    A for Atlas

    A is for the stamina of Atlas, Titan who bears the heavens on his shoulders. This means he doesn't need to sleep or eat as Captain Marvel and has virtually limitless superhuman endurance. Due to Atlas' stamina, Captain Marvel doesn't fatigue during or after any exertion; no matter how strenuous or how long in duration.

    Self-Sustenance: While in the form of Captain Marvel, Billy Batson does not need to eat. sleep or breathe. The godly energies that transform his body into Earths Mightiest Hero is enough to sustain his body. From Black Adam, who also shares the same powers as Billy Batson (but from different sources) we have seen that he was able to survive crossing the universe in his return to Earth which took him 5,000 years to accomplish.

    Superhuman Stamina: Captain Marvel's godly energies do not require him to rest because they prevent any kind of fatigue toxins from building in his body. This grants him a virtually inexhaustible amount of endurance regardless of how strenuous the physical activity he engages in or how long it lasts. His endurance may indeed be limitless.

    Z for Zeus

    Z is for the power of Zeus, most powerful of the gods. Though the term "Power of Zeus" is vague, this grants Billy many abilities, with many possibly unknown as of yet. Through Zeus, Captain Marvel has high-level magic resistance and can call down the lightning that changes him back and forth between his two personas. He has even used the lightning as a weapon before; calling it down and then dodging it while allowing it to strike an enemy. Captain Marvel has also stated that with this power also comes the "Wrath of Zeus." This implies supreme, righteous anger/rage, though it's unclear how this ties into Billy's powerset. The power of Zeus is vast and hard to define completely. It may augment some of Captain Marvel's other powers and abilities and it may grant him powers and abilities even he has yet to discover. From Zeus Captain Marvel inherits sheer unbelievable power rendering him utterly invulnerability (Captain Marvel Adventures 144, DC Comics Presents Annual 03). The power of Zeus adds to the other powers of Captain Marvel giving him the wisdom of Solomon and Zeus, the strength of Hercules and Zeus, the stamina of Atlas is beeded up with the immortality of Zeus (World's Finest 254 and Shazam the Monster Society 04). Captain Marvel can still blend all the strength of Hercules, stamina of Atlas and power of Zeus to increase his strength (Adventure Comics 492 and Power Of Shazam 46).

    Magical Resistance: The power of Zeus gives Captain Marvel a resistance against magic and only magic of the highest order is able to harm him.

    Lightning: Captain Marvel gains his power from being struck with a magical lightning bolt, and can use it as a weapon as well by interrupting the flow between the bolt and himself. In certain situations, Marvel has been known to spark lightning off of his body, and even direct it as a projectile at a target.

    Sorcery: Captain Marvel is a being of pure and ancient magic. This gives him the ability to resist the negative effects of magic.

    Healing: Although Captain Marvel has the power of the Gods it is possible to harm him. Captain Marvel is able to call down the lightning that gives him his powers in order to heal his body if he is injured. Captain Marvels healing factor is also of a godly level and is able to heal himself from almost all injuries in an incredible amount of time.

    A for Achilles

    A is for the courage of Achilles, greatest hero of the Trojan War. This grants him an inner strength and confidence.

    Courage: Captain Marvel usually protects others before himself, and also often putting himself in harm's way to protect another. He also tends to stand up for the little guy, and asserts himself between larger fights to find a mutually beneficial solution. Achilles has bestowed on Captain Marvel with the great fighting abilities (Captain Marvel Adventures 144).

    Invulnerability: Captain Marvel is virtually invulnerable to all forms of physical harm. His resistance to harm is comparable to that of Superman's but he does not share his weaknesses to Kryptonite or magic.

    Optimism: Captain Marvel is a combination of the Wisdom of Solomon as well as the child personality of Billy Batson which create a fairly optimistic character in the DC Universe. He is able to stay positive and keep his spirits up even the most dire and desperate situations.

    M for Mercury

    M is for the speed of Mercury, swiftest of the gods. This grants Marvel his god-like speed and his power to fly.

    Superhuman Speed: Captain Marvel is able to move at incredible speeds and is able to move so fast that he can seem invisible to the eye of the human being. Captain Marvels speed is said to surpass even that of Superman and rival that of the Flash, and can move at several times the speed of sound while running, swimming, and even performing "mundane tasks."

    Flight: The power of Mercury grants Captain Marvel the ability to defy gravity. With this, he is able to travel through space and through the atmosphere of the Earth at incredible speeds. He tries to limit his atmospheric speed to MACH 10 (so that he will not cause catastrophic damage with his flight wake), but he has the ability to fly at near light-speed.

    Teleportation: Captain Marvel has the ability to transport to the Rock of Eternity from wherever he is at by speeding between the space between dimensions.

  • Powers

    The Phoenix Force is one of the most (if not the most) powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, possessing the unlimited power to create and destroy anything and everything; though it is surpassed by the One-Above-All. It has been stated to be an Extinction-Level Threat by Quicksilver[90] and an Omega-Level Threat by Mister Fantastic.[91]

    Its powers include:

    Phoenix Force

    Nigh Omnipotence: The Phoenix Force is practically omnipotent, however it is limited in undetermined and undefined ways as seems to suit its current mission/purpose. As the White Phoenix of the Crown, it was able to warp reality on a universal scale.[92] This was not the result of divergence, but rather the effect of reality manipulation which changed history.

    Future Life-Force Tap: The Phoenix Force can tap into the energy provided by life-force reserved for future generations, thus denying them existence.[93] The Phoenix Force possesses limitless cosmic energy. With or without a host, it is one of the most powerful entities in the Marvel Universe, capable of existing in any plane, time-line or dimensional existence.

    Concussive Force Blasts: It can wield this energy to project beams of immense concussive force powerful enough to destroy whole planetary bodies.

    Quantum Singularity: It can transmigrate throughout time and space by folding its energy back into itself, causing it to collapse akin to a black hole. It then reforms itself upon reaching its destination, much like the Phoenix of ancient myths.

    Energy Absorption: It can directly absorb, manipulate, and fully control any type of energy such as Cyclops' ruby-red-colored optic blasts or the entire energy of a star, black hole, or even a whole galaxy. Jean, as the "One-True Phoenix", was shown to be able to activate and deactivate the mutations of other's with just the use of her psychic abilities.

    Life-Force Control: The Phoenix Force can control and manipulate life and death itself, as such, it can take the "life energy" from something, rendering it "dead" or vice versa.

    Psionic Nexus: As the nexus or center of all psionic energy throughout the cosmos, the host attains nigh-infinitely powerful mental abilities, including telepathy, empathy, and telekinesis, and often seeks out hosts who have psionic abilities (i.e. Nate Grey, Jean Grey-Summers, The White Queen, and The Cuckoos). When bonded with a host, the Phoenix Force vastly strengthens and amplifies all of their superhuman mutant powers and abilities to immeasurable and innumerable power levels that have been shown to be near unlimited such as the Phoenix's one-true host.

    Matter Transmutation: It can manipulate and transmute matter on a subatomic level (e.g., turning wood to gold, stone to crystal, cause physical bodies to disintegrate by altering their molecular structure, etc).

    Cosmic Teleportation: It can teleport others across vast distances such as another planet or galaxy, and the vast vacuum of space itself or even an entire timeline all-together.

    Disintegration Waves: It can consume and remove a near infinite amount of molecules per second.

    Resurrection Force: It can resurrect anyone it wishes with its near infinite powers, as it is the embodiment of life and death itself. It could also bring itself back as well as its host (it has done this many times over in the form of Jean).[citation needed]

    Immortality: The Phoenix Force is immortal and indestructible. It can't die or be destroyed. After its "death" in Avengers vs. X-Men, it was said to be destroyed, but, as it has happened many times, the entity never truly died. It forms itself in a cosmic egg in the White Hot Room and stays in there until it is ready to come out. Some hosts get true immortality, but other get it from never aging or needing food, water, and oxygen to breath and, if they were killed, the Phoenix Force would bring him or her back to life.

    Cosmic Pyrokinesis: It can create 'cosmic' flames under any conditions even the impossible ones such as vacuum space or underwater. These flames do not require oxygen to burn, and burn so intensely that matter is consumed without by-products such as ash. It has perfect control over these flames, and they only consume what it wills. These flames are shown to be able to burn even underwater. Typically they manifest as a raptor or part of a raptor such as a claw or wings, in the case of an avatar. It is unclear whether these flames are an extension of its powerful psionic abilities or a literal punctuation to its purpose to 'burn away what doesn't work.'[citation needed]

    Temporal Manipulation: The Phoenix Force can manipulate the past, present, and future across large temporal distances and with a profound knowledge of the causal effect her actions will have. It may be the case that time as a concept doesn't apply to the White Hot Room. it has only been shown when Jean Grey as the White Phoenix of The Crown held her universe in the palm of her hands, possessing the infinite power to write what she would as the "One True Phoenix" in any timeline, using to save her timeline from becoming a horrible future, altering the memories of everyone in reality itself in the process.

    Atmokinesis: The Phoenix Force is capable of manipulating and creating cosmic weather . It can create cosmic storms, solar flares, geomagnetic storms, cosmic rays , coronal mass ejection and black holes.

    Existence Mastery: It possesses total control over the entire existence as shown by The White Phoenix of the Crown (c.f. The White Hot Room). It can warp the reality, bring anything into existence, freely manipulate all existing things, and return them to nothingness when their purpose is extinguished.

  • Powers

    Insatiable Hunger: The Goblin Force possesses an unknown capacity to absorb massive amounts of energy from cosmic-level entities, such as the Celestials, the Phoenix, the Beyonder and Galactus. The goblin force adds those powers to itself once it consumes them. It is not yet known what the extent of the Goblin Force's powers are.

    Energy Absorption: It can directly absorb any type of energy such as Cyclops' ruby-red-colored optic blasts or the entire energy of a star, sun, or even an entire galaxy.

    Telepathy: It is capable of displaying various psionic feats with the minds of others including reading and communicating with thoughts over vast distances.

    Sorcery: Possibly one of the greatest casters in the world, the Goblin Force is capable of mass manipulation over magic energy. Demonstrated to even be capable of endless possibilities of spell casting, demonstrated to be stronger than Morgan le Faye, Merlin, and the Scarlet Witch all together.

    Shadow-Morphing: Allowing to dematerialize or create demons and goblins from shadows, lending them it's power.

    Immortal: The Goblin Force cannot die, meaning if it is even destroyed some how, it's entity will rebuild and create itself once again.

    Cosmic Manipulation: Possessing massive control over the cosmos, the Goblin Force can destroy planets and galaxies, summon comets and meteors, change the weather, and cause terrifying disasters.

    Chronokinesis: The Goblin Force has complete control over the time and its aspects, allowing it to alter time and space itself

    Cosmic Teleportation: It can teleport others across vast distances such as another planet or galaxy, and the vast vacuum of space itself.

    Richard Rider is the host of the entire Nova Force, a vast energy source that he can access to grant himself a number of superhuman attributes. As host to the entire Nova Force, which was previously used to empower all members of the Nova Corps throughout the universe, Rider is now possessed of tremendously augmented strength and durability as well as enormous quantities of energy that allows him to hold his own against other powerful beings such as the Silver Surfer.

    Superhuman Strength: Rider is able to channel the Nova Force for the purpose of increasing his physical strength to vast levels. While the full extent of his strength level is not known, he is listed well above the class 100 limit. The Nova Force grants Rider sufficient strength and power to engage and even stalemate the likes of the Silver Surfer in combat.[54] He has even stated that his best shot can destroy everything within 3 miles.[75] He was even capable of going blow for blow with the likes of Annihilus himself in combat, and was even able, quite literally, to tear Annihilus' insides out.[44]

    Superhuman Speed: By channeling the Nova Force properly, Rider can grant himself the ability to run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete. While the upper limit of his running speed is not known, he can at least run several hundred miles an hour. He can move at speeds faster than light.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Stamina: Due to the Nova Force's augmentation of his musculature, Rider's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human. While the full limits of his stamina are unknown, he is able to exert himself physically for at least 24 hours before fatigue toxins impair him.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Accuracy: With the Xandarian Worldmind's help, Nova can shoot beams of energy with an accuracy of millimetres.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Durability: Rider's body is highly resistant to all forms of conventional physical injury. He can withstand high caliber bullets, falls from tremendous heights, exposure to extremes in both temperature and pressure, powerful energy blasts, acidic corrosives, and tremendous impact forces without sustaining injury. While employing the Nova Force, Rider can easily withstand the rigors of deep space indefinitely. He can withstand attacks from powerful beings such as Annihilus relatively unharmed. He was able to withstand, without any significant damage, the raw energy and power stored in the reservoir in Galactus's ship, which contained power siphoned from the destroyed energy of entire planets[55]. He was even capable of withstanding a massive omni-directional blast from an enraged Galactus himself, at near point-blank range, which was so powerful that it encompassed and destroyed more than three entire solar systems.[44]

    Superhuman Agility: Rider's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are far beyond the physical limits of the finest human athlete.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Reflexes: Rider's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are far superior to those of the finest human athlete.[citation needed]

    Regenerative Healing Factor: In spite of his great physical resilience, it is possible for him to sustain injury. On the rare occasion that Rider is injured he can purposely channel the Nova Force to rapidly heal damaged bodily tissues.[55] However, the Nova Force cannot regenerate lost limbs as Rider couldn't replace the right arm he lost from the Revenger Captain America.[62]

    Flight: Rider can use the Nova Force to propel himself through the air at tremendous speeds. Nova is fully capable of achieving faster than light velocities and can enter and traverse hyperspace, which he often does while traveling through space. However, moving as such speeds while in the atmosphere of a planet would cause devastation to the planet itself, so he travels much slower while within a planetary atmosphere; generally at supersonic speeds.[citation needed]

    Energy Generation: Rider can channel the Nova Force and expel the energy in the form of extremely powerful concussive blasts that he often uses in combat situations. A few of the abilities he has shown are:

    The ability to manipulate the Nova Force to create hyperspace portals in space such as Space Gates.[citation needed]

    The ability to release extremely powerful gravimetric pulses and beams, either from specific parts of his body or from his whole body surface.[citation needed]

    The ability to emit powerful electromagnetic discharges that can nullify gravity.[citation needed]

    Xandarian Worldmind: Aside from housing the Nova Force, Rider was also the host of the Xandarian Worldmind. The Worldmind is a sentient collective created to govern and maintain all forms of Xandarian culture. The Worldmind contains all knowledge collected by the Xandarian people including art, science, history, and philosophy. Rider can access any aspect of this technology by communicating with the Worldmind verbally or mentally. As a result, The Worldmind often contacts Rider unbidden and usually offers advice, instructions, insights, recommendations, and even criticisms. Rider's bond with the Worldmind is highly useful, however, also in the fact that the Worldmind is crucial in helping Rider maintain self control when tapping into the full might of the Nova Force.[citation needed]

    . A few other capabilities demonstrated by the Worldmind are:

    Helps Rider contain the whole Nova Force while keeping his mind and sanity intact.[citation needed]

    Downloads profiles of opponents directly into Rider's mind.[76]

    Detects nearby energy surges, including those used in teleportation.[76]

    Can assume control of Rider's body as he sleeps.[8]

    Auto-translates languages around Rider, allowing him to speak, read and understand any language that the Xandarian Worldmind is familiar with[8] or that it can analyse the meaning of.[77]

    Access other computer systems, including heavily-protected terrestrial computer networks (such as S.H.I.E.L.D. records).[8]

    Analyze attackers, including detecting adrenaline surges in their bodies.[46]

    Detects approaching super-humans with energy-based powers (like Penance).[46]

    Enables Rider to hack into satellite TV broadcasts, and transmit his voice and image to individual TV sets.[46]

    Can help to contain the Transmode Virus, though this took 83 percent of the Nova Force to achieve.[77]

    Can protect Rider from psionic manipulation using Psi-shields.[53]

    Abilities

    Skilled Combatant: Rider is a formidable combatant and has been trained by Chord, though he is naturally more comfortable at using the Nova Force's energy generating capabilities during combat. However, he can access the Xandarian Worldmind and instantly gain knowledge of Xandarian hand-to-hand combat techniques which he sometimes uses in combination with his energy powers.[citation needed]

  • Wielder of the Power Cosmic

    Currently, the Silver Surfer is one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and the most powerful of the Heralds of Galactus. He was deemed to be an Alpha Plus by the Galadorian Spaceknight Ikon,[113] and potentially an universal-level threat by the Nova Corps.[114] Thanks to Galactus, he possesses the following abilities:

    The Power Cosmic: The Silver Surfer possesses a fraction of the Power Cosmic, which is the core from which his abilities manifest from. This power was granted to him by Galactus, and amplified during the Annihilation event. The Power Cosmic is a source of ambient cosmic energy permeating the universe that makes possible the channeling and manipulation of energy.[14] Based on cumulative evidence from beings with similar magnitudes of power and his own feats, the Silver Surfer's maximum power output ranges from the casual planetoid/planet[115][116] and planet level,[79][117] to the level of a compact star,[35] and plausibly, by employing his vast channeling ability, to solar system level without overloading himself.[118] The Silver Surfer also has regularly faced opponents who are solar system level in power output, such as the Mighty Thor[119] and Beta Ray Bill.[74]

    Energy Absorption and Manipulation: The absorption of electromagnetic energy is the base of the Surfer's life and power. The Silver Surfer has complete control of the four fundamental forces of the universe, reaching nearly any effect he desires. As a result, the Surfer can absorb, manipulate and discharge tremendous amounts of energy across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. The Silver Surfer has claimed several times to hold enough power to easily shatter planets.[120][121][122] The Surfer's incredible powers also surpass Nova while he held the entirety of the Nova Force and Quasar, with sufficient force to casually destroy planets,[115][116] a large fraction of a structure whose size easily dwarfed Earth,[117] and, by utilizing his ability to channel vast amounts of cosmic energy, an entire solar system.[118] The Silver Surfer, upon merging his essence with a vessel, could manipulate, assimilate, and emit energy from another source just as easily as he does with the limitless Power Cosmic.[123] Currently, at maximum, his beams are capable of almost killing Ravenous,[115] equaling Thanos,[citation needed] and hurting Thor who was wearing Asgardian armor.[124]

    Additional abilities include:

    Erecting force fields, phasing through solid matter,[114] using the build-up of energy within himself to increase his strength,[40] creating stable black holes,[23] creating a compact star while extremely weakened,[35] creating solid energy often in the forms of a cocoon or barrier,[39][25] restabilizing and recharging a star,[77] accelerating the evolution of lifeforms on a planet-wide scale,[125] seeing the past by peeling back the layers of time, time travel,[126] trans-dimensional travel, bestowing limited cosmic powers to others, telepathically reading minds,[127] casting illusions,[128] temporarily animating the inanimate and sharing a portion of his power and consciousness with it,[129] and emphatically influencing human emotion and sensation.[114] The Surfer also possesses the ability to suppress or absorb the powers of other beings, making them temporarily or permanently unable to use them, as he did once with the Hulk.[130] He can heal living beings, even if they are near-death. He cannot, however, raise the dead.[114]

    Matter Manipulation: The Silver Surfer can alter matter by rearranging molecules. He can also change the state of matter, such as making solids into gas.[131] Transmutation helps the Surfer escape traps and prisons, and can also be used to make an enemy's weapons inactive. He is able to bend his own molecular structure so as to transform himself to appear human.[129]

    Superhuman Physical Abilities:

    Superhuman Strength: The Surfer possesses enormous superhuman strength. Though the exact magnitude remains vague, the Surfer has often been shown to fight evenly with people who can lift far in excess of 100 tons. He can also channel the build-up of energy within himself to increase his strength to incalculable levels.[14][40] He managed to pulverize diamonds with no effort,[132] stopped a charging Rhino,[133] and when in a weak state he even managed to overcome and defeat the Abomination with little effort.[43] The Surfer also forcefully redirected a starship's path and launched it into the outer solar system, and it was stated that it would continue on its straight-line path for centuries.[134] He escaped from Quasar's construct,[135] broke out of a planet that Michael Korvac formed by using nearby asteroids,[136] physically subjugated a dwarf star thrown on him by an enhanced Deadpool and easily redirected it into outer space,[137] and using his speed and strength, the Surfer shattered through several Vibranium walls that exploded on contact to save Nova.[54] When he was extremely weakened, he still managed to pull the Galactus Incubator out of the young living planet Ego,[103] and then throw it a few light-years away,[104] and throw Stormbreaker out of a black hole.[102][35] The Surfer's potential strength was once said to rival the Hulk's limitless rage-enhanced strength.[138]

    Invulnerability: The Silver Surfer's silvery "skin" was designed to easily withstand the rigors of deep-space travel, and thus far, it has proven to be virtually indestructible. Among things that include simple blunt force, like withstanding a punch from She-Hulk without flinching back when the She-Hulk's power level was still just class 75, and not far above class 100 as it is today.[139] The Silver Surfer can withstand even the most extreme conditions, like the crushing pressures of a black hole.[58][102][35] He is not bothered by the friction associated with atmospheric re-entry, and has withstood plunges into stars,[140][19][141] and supernovas unharmed.[37] He also routinely weathers the stresses associated with high-speed travel through space and hyperspace.

    Soul Manipulation and Soul Resistance: By channeling his cosmic power, Silver Surfer can enter the Astral Plane, which he describes as the source of his power and where he was able to destroy the soul of an enemy. He is also immune to soul absorption, has withstood the Soul Stone,[142] has more than enough spare life force,[92] and not even the stealing tongue of the Wraith Queen mind managed to effect the Silver Surfer,[143] and most impressively he has resisted being absorbed by Mephisto.[144][145][53] Mephisto did manage to steal Silver Surfer’s soul once, but the Surfer managed to recover it.[28] The only time Silver Surfer's soul was completely taken away was by Thanos who owned the Infinity Gauntlet and used the Soul Stone. Although the Soul Stone failed to absorb Silver Surfer's soul,[142] although Thanos was later able to use the Soul Stone to remove the souls of the Silver Surfer and Drax the Destroyer after the stone was placed within the gauntlet.[146]

    Godlike Stamina: The Surfer's highly enhanced musculature generates no fatigue toxins, body stress, or even sweat, granting him inexhaustible physical stamina, which allows him to fight other beings for prolonged periods of time before tiring, if he even gets tired.

    Flight Speed: Prior to his upgrade, the Silver Surfer was one of the fastest beings in the universe, but he was greatly outmatched by the Runner of the Elders of the Universe. Currently, he is faster than Beta Ray Bill and Nova. The Silver Surfer can travel at speeds faster than light. He can enter Hyperspace when he exceeds the speed of light,[147][148][14] although he is also able to accelerate and achieve faster than light speeds without accessing hyperspace.[126][149][150][151][10] For example of his speed, Dracula's hurricane wasn't enough to knock him off balance or slow him down,[122] he has used his speed to easily destroy Warships,[152][153] he has searched the entire planet for Namor in less time than it took for Dr. Strange to finish a sentence,[154] traveled light years in just 1 second,[23] quickly traveled half a million light years,[155] left Earth and traversed half the galaxy in search of food for Galactus to consume in mere seconds,[156] in just moments, the Surfer flew out of a galaxy,[citation needed] and in a few minutes the Surfer traveled from Earth to halfway across the universe following a call echoing through creation.[157] The Surfer even analysed every planet in numerous galaxies in a matter of hours,[126] and traveled to multiple galaxies in a matter of hours.[126] His speed has been described as “distorting space-time, flying from one side of the universe to the other.”[117] Finally, his mind and body can be used at these speeds as well, making the Surfer extremely reactive and agile. The Silver Surfer has several times reacted in the space of a microsecond,[158][159] and even in the range of a nanosecond.[160]

    Cosmic Self-Flight: Silver Surfer can fly without his Cosmic Surfboard, projecting cosmic energy through his hands in a manner similar to Iron Man's repulsors.[54]

    Superhuman Agility: Silver Surfer has greater agility, balance, dexterity, flexibility, equilibrium and bodily coordination than that of an Olympic-level athlete. But Silver Surfer rarely shows this ability. While flying, he easily dodges bullets and anti-aircraft missiles from military planes,[161] dodges Kree blaster fire,[citation needed] dodged Cyborg Superman's laser beams at point-blank range,[162] and even managed to coordinate his body to avoid a barrage of laser beams coming from several spacecraft simultaneously.[citation needed]

    Cosmic Awareness: His cosmic sense can allow him to comprehend rules of the universe others would find incomprehensible,[163] as well as being able to sense energy concentration anywhere in the universe, sense a human trapped in a falling capsule,[31] read the spark of electrons and surge of chemicals in people,[141] feel the culture of Earth being stolen,[164] and being able to sense that Mephisto was up to something.[citation needed] He can also determine the nature of new energy sources, locations, and determine the nature of an energy source and who the beings who created it were.[165] Silver surfer can sense pure consciousness,[166] and sensed Galactus rising 93 million miles away from the sun.[167] Silver Surfer was able to sense the weakness of Gladiator.[58] While in a state of powerlessness, he stated he could've sensed Johnny Storm's death from halfway across the universe.[168] Silver Surfer was able to sense the deaths of billions of beings being killed by Thanos.[169] His Cosmic Awareness can also see as far back as the previous universe as he saw Galactus' origin.[citation needed] He also managed to feel an imbalance in the Power Cosmic,[1] and the High Evolutionary with the Silver Surfer's Power Cosmic was surprised with how much cosmic awareness the Surfer had and how much knowledge he gained so quickly and was able to use the cosmic awareness to find and call out to Galactus' ship across the universe.[170]

    Cosmic Senses: The Silver Surfer has certain cosmic-energy enhanced perceptions which enable him, through concentration, to become aware of the patterns of energy anywhere in the world.[171] These abilities allow him far-ranging vision (in space he can see people clearly over a light year away), the ability to see subatomic particles, superhuman hearing, the ability to detect fields, traces, and concentrations of pure forms of energy and discern their natures.[172] The Surfer learnt quite a lot of Earth culture due to his cosmic senses,[173] and he also found the greatest ice cream in the universe,[174] felt billions of beings on a planet,[80] and was able to detect new life forms and determine their abilities.[175] Currently the abilities of the Surfer surpass even those of Stardust.[citation needed]

    Cosmic Sight: Silver Surfer's vision is improved, allowing him to see farther than a normal human. He can change vision between visible spectra,[176] infrared vision,[177] can see signatures / paths of psionic energy,[178] adjusts his vision to continuous brightness,[179] and can see all things up to the “nanoscopic scale”.[180] He can see through illusions,[181] as strong as the Stranger's,[182] a cosmic entity that is of the same class as Galactus.[183] He can see beyond sub-atomic levels.[140] He is able to detect and track Thanos' teleportation path, which is so advanced that the Surfer describes him as a rival to Galactus' level of technology,[140] he can perceive dimensional things that mortals cannot,[19] and can see what's in the universe even if it is billions of light-years away while keeping its clarity perfectly.[184]

    Cosmic Vision: Can perceive time as one, watching the past, present, and future at once,[185] and can project this effect for others to see.[186]

    Cosmic Hearing: Silver Surfer is capable of hearing sounds from a far greater distance than any human. Silver Surfer can know that the person he's talking to is a Skrull in the form of a human just from hearing their heartbeat,[citation needed] and can hear whispers from Earth while on the moon,[167] as well as being able to “hear heartbeats from a light year away”.[187]

    Cosmic Self-Sustenance: The Silver Surfer does not need to eat or breathe since he absorbs life-maintaining cosmic energy directly through his skin.

    Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his invulnerability, Silver Surfer can be injured, but can heal and regenerate immediately using the Power Cosmic. He healed immediately after being eaten by eagles,(Silver Surfer does it intentionally to experience "life and death ..."),[188] fixed his severed hand,[189] restored his arm after being cut off,[190] upon the return of half of his cosmic essence, was instantly healed and at maximum power,[117] and healed from being cut up multiple times when the Cosmic Power was being restored to him.[179] He has managed to fully recover from complete atomic destruction during his battle with Uni-Lord.[191] He can exist without his body; and turn into air and/or snow and can reform himself.[192]

    Healing: Like his regenerative healing factor, Silver Surfer is able to quickly heal others by concentrating Cosmic Power in their bodies, thus stimulating the healing processes. He managed to heal a bullet wound,[133] healed Carla from multiple bullet wounds,[141] healed Syrrh from a blaster wound,[193] and healed the massive blaster wound of a creatures.[citation needed] The Silver Surfer managed to heal a Watcher,[194] offered Alicia Masters, a blind woman, a one-touch view of the world, although not permanent,[161] temporarily modified the chemistry of a drug-addicted woman's body to remove drugs from her system,[195] and cured thousands of plagues at the molecular level.[175] Even if Silver Surfer cannot raise people from the dead, he can heal people who are on the verge of death.[144][43][196]

    Immortality: Due to his ability to sustain himself, the Silver Surfer is virtually immortal. He is approximately 13.7 billion years old due to having traveled back in time to a previous incarnation of the universe and simply waiting out until the present caught up with him.[11]

    Size Manipulation: Silver Surfer is able to use the Power Cosmic to manipulate his size. Silver Surfer managed to shrink to sub-atomic size and enter the Microverse,[197] and exit to return to normal size.[156] The Silver Surfer even managed to shrink to such a small size that, to him, atoms were the size of "planets ...then solar system" to escape a black hole.[58] Silver Surfer can change the size of other people and things, and was able to bring Metropolis and all its inhabitants back to their normal size.[198]

    Intangibility: After reconstituting himself following his "death" battling Knull,[105] the Silver Surfer became intangible. While he is unable to interact with physical objects, he can still affect them with his Power Cosmic and can merge with other living creatures in a manner similar to a symbiote.[15]

    Astral Projection: The Surfer can project his astral form outside of his physical body, when in astral form he can perceive and interact with other beings made of spirit, even causing them harm.[199] The Surfer claimed that he could not be harmed in the Astral Plane as it was the source of the Power Cosmic.[63] The Surfer and Mephisto battle in their astral forms.[200]

    Possession: When Silver Surfer is in astral form he can possess people. He has managed to possess Alicia Masters and give her the power to fight Agatha Harkness (who was possessed by Mephisto).[201]

    Telekinesis: Using his cosmic power, Silver Surfer can lift objects with his mind.[58] His telekinesis allows him to deconstruct weapons and objects,[202][203] to throw massive space debris at both Aegis and Tenebrous,[68] and surround and hold Millenius with nearby wreckage and send him to the core of a planet.[148]

    Elemental Manipulation: Thanks to the Power Cosmic, Silver Surfer can manipulate the elements, these include:

    Pyrokinesis: Generate heat, as well as create and manipulate fire.[46][125] Silver Surfer can raise the temperature of its flames to the point where it burns hotter than a Nova. [142]

    Aerokinesis: Generate, control and manipulate air and gases. When Dr. Doom had the powers of Silver Surfer, he managed to create a cyclone with which he attacked Human Torch, and destroyed a certain area of ​​a forest.[42]

    Hydrokinesis: Generate, control and manipulate water.[204][130]

    Cryokinesis: Generate, control and manipulate ice, snow, and cold temperatures. When Dr. Doom had the powers of Silver Surfer, he managed to freeze the Human Torch,[205] temporarily extinguishing its flame, and turning a tropical island into a frozen desert, with very low temperatures and covered in ice and snow "for 24 hours."[206]

    Chlorokinesis: Generate, control and manipulate plants and vegetation.[204] When Dr. Doom had the powers of the Silver Surfer, he managed to control a tree from a distance to attack the Fantastic Four's ship.[42]

    Photokinesis: Generate, control and manipulate light.[207] When Silver Surfer and Dawn Greenwood entered a universe where there was nothing real, and as soon as the darkness began to consume them, Silver Surfer managed to “burn brighter than 10 suns.”[190]

    Chromatokinesis: Silver Surfer can also change the color of objects, people, etc. For example, in memory of his girlfriend Dawn Greenwood, Silver Surfer changed the color of the Power Cosmic to red with black dots.[11]

    Gravitikinesis: Silver Surfer can make objects or people heavier or lighter, as well as making things fall apart.[204] His gravity manipulation can also negate gravitational disturbances and has a planetary range.

  • According to Sister Sara, the Caretaker, the Spirits of Vengeance were the divine wrath of God, while according to others they are demonic entities that serve Mephisto and others who sit upon the throne of his Hell.[3] Regardless of their muddled origins, their powers are "boundless" and "god-like" -- capable of doing incredible feats and competence as explained by Doctor Strange making them one of the strongest and most powerful supernatural entities to exist but are only limited due to the human host lack of imagination. The host itself acts as a "built-in safety lock" to prevent the Spirit from exacting its full potential. If the Spirit is controlling the Ghost Rider, the results would be biblically catastrophic and the human host can only influence the Spirit's decisions. If the host is in control, it would not be as powerful as the Spirit. Nevertheless, the Ghost Rider is still very powerful even in its weakest state.[14]

    Vessel Possession: The Spirits do not require any human host to bond with. They're capable of enduring for themselves rather than needing a vessel to live. However, as immortal and benevolent weapons, they must possess a human host through various means in order to thwart any evil presence. The Spirits are considered to be ruthless against impurity and will torture the host for preventing it to fight off wickedness. This could cause several psychological and spiritual predicaments. If the act of prevention does occur, it will lead to either the Spirit having absolute control or losing the host's humanity succumbing to an incurable monstrous state.[citation needed]

    Host Empowerment: Any human being possessed by a Spirit of Vengeance will be granted unimaginable capabilities. Some of its abilities are visibly demonstrated due to how the host utilizes its powers. But because of the lack of imagination and knowledge, the majority of the Spirit's powers aren't in use and will only be seen if the user is familiar and imaginative with it's feats.[citation needed]

    God-like Capabilities: Like other overpowering figures, the Spirits have various capacities that challenges those of godly-powered individuals.[citation needed]

    God-like Speed: They are extremely fast entities vastly accelerating that almost couldn't be seen through the human naked eye.[citation needed]

    God-like Durability: Their durability greatly exceeds their Ghost Rider counter parts. The Spirits are invulnerable to almost any form of attack from earthly to cosmic.[citation needed]

    God-like Reflexes: Their reflexes surpasses even the fastest being to the point where their actions are invisible.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Capabilities: In their Ghost Rider form, their feats are decreased and are on par with other super-powered characters.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Strength: If in full control, the Spirit can lift objects and other materials to incalculable levels, and even when not in full control it bestows great strength upon its host.[15]

    Superhuman Durability: The Spirits are impervious to any physical attacks making them difficult characters to kill. However, when come in contact or inflicted by a weapon of heavenly origin, this will greatly damage the Spirit.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Stamina: Due to their mystical nature, the Spirits have unlimited superhuman stamina.[citation needed]

    Superhuman Agility: The Spirit's grants it's user's with heightened movements, reflexes and coordination.[16]

    Immortality: The Spirits themselves are immortal beings. They can live for an eternity and cannot be killed unless a weapon forged from Heaven decapitates them. Since the Spirit is a weapon of Heaven itself, it is possible that it can kill its own kind.[citation needed]

    Spirit Transferal: If a situation occurs where the host is killed by any physical means, the Spirit will detach itself from the current deceased host and will seek out a new body to inhabit.[10]

    Regenerative Healing Factor: Their supernatural origins grants them the ability to regenerate any damaged or loss limbs through the mystical energies they possess.[citation needed]

    Empathic Reading: They possess the ability to read the heart and souls of individuals they encounter and determine whether or not they are innocent, guilty, and in need of punishment. This is most evidently done when becoming the Ghost Rider. The human host as well can without transformation can detect innocence and evil.[citation needed]

    Identity Tracking: Mostly seen in Ghost Riders, they can detect the individual's identity by simply looking at their souls. Other figures without souls can be detected by sensing their presence.[citation needed]

    Sin Manipulation: The Spirit's main purpose is to cleanse sin. They can control and be empowered with the negativity released from the world.[citation needed]

    Sin Perception: A sub-power to reading a character's heart and soul, they can also tell, sense and smell what kind of sin or crime the individual committed whether it be a small sin such as petty theft or great one like murdering a person or being cruel to a loved one.

    Sin Eating: Also known as Sin Removal. They can remove a person's immoral acts to the point where the individual loses their humanity.[citation needed]

    Negative Energy Augmentation: Not only can the Spirit's remove or absorb an individual's transgressions, they can also be strengthened by the negativity released. This could be both sins, from the smallest of actions such as slapping one's wife to committing unforgivable crimes, and negative emotions a person is currently experiencing like misery and depression.[citation needed]

    Soul Manipulation: They can manipulate the very life giving essence of each being. They can do a number of things:[citation needed]

    Soul Reading: They can read a person's soul to determine whether they are innocent or guilty and tell what kind of sin they commit.[citation needed]

    Soul Consumption: If desired, the Spirit's can remove the soul of the person until they are lifeless.[citation needed]

    Soul Consumption Empowerment: Through consuming the souls of other living entities, the Spirit's can be strengthened to increase their powers and become more intimidating.[citation needed]

    Soul Mutilation: Through different means of mutilation, they can destroy the soul from within the individual's body.[citation needed]

    Elemental Manipulation: All Spirits can control elements, whether earthly, supernatural or cosmic; and use it to their advantage.[citation needed]

    Nature Manipulation: The Spirit of Vengeance can manipulate the forces of the world to their whim. They possess many abilities granting them dominion over the earth, sea and sky which they can impart upon the hosts of whom they possesses, e.i. making the earth crack open and swallow people or create impaling stalagmites, conjuring the weather to create and summon down lighting as is the case with Alejandra Jones. The Spirits can also, through their proxy, expel a host of ravenous locusts which burn and consume the flesh and spirit of those their set upon from his mouth.[citation needed]

    Magic Manipulation: Whether it is divine or malevolent, angelic or demonic; the Spirits can control, project and generate mystical energies that empowers them and can utilize it in a multitude of ways. One of the Spirit's known magical elements to control is hellfire, a demonic element that can do physical and spiritual damage.[citation needed]

    Demon Magic Manipulation: A sub power to their manipulation to most mystical elements, artifacts and symbols, they can also control elements of demonic origin. Some spirits have even demonstrated to use satanic symbolism and pentagrams to their advantage.[17]

    Necromancy: They have the power to control the dead. They can resurrect the deceased and use them to as form of communication to the world of the living by simply returning their souls from their bodies.[citation needed]

    Possession: As mentioned, they can use the deceased as a form of communication to warn their enemies.[citation needed]

    Immunity/Resistance: The Spirits are immune to almost many of conditions such as infections. They're highly resistant to such conventions that apparently, reality warpers seem to give them no complications.[citation needed]

    Demonic Transformation: As the Ghost Rider, the Spirit will reveal itself through the process of transformation. The reason it appears to be a flaming skeleton is because of its purpose to unleash unholy vengeance. It's nether worldly appearance strikes fear unto those who look at it. Most of the Spirit's powers are more evident through the Ghost Rider.

    Hellfire Manipulation: Also known as Infernal Pyrokinesis. As the Ghost Rider, the most prominent ability of the Spirit is control, project, generate and manipulate the ethereal element known as hellfire. They can perform a number of capabilities:

    Hellfire Infusion: They can imbue any object and materials with hellfire.[18]

    Hellfire Forgery: In addition to infuse hellfire to objects, they can alter its appearance into something more sinister. Also, they can even create their own piece of equipment made out of the fire.[citation needed]

    Hellfire Constructs: They can structure walls and wings made out of hellfire.[citation needed]

    Hellfire Telekinesis: They can control any object infused with hellfire and do multiple things through their mind.[19]

    Hellfire Attacks: They can project hellfire through their eyes, mouth, hands and chest. They can create balls, shoot a laser-like beam, spew out massive waves and perform omnidirectional explosions resulting to devastation.[citation needed]

    Hellfire Weather: In some cases, The Rider can bring forth paranormal weather conditions whenever they travel. They can even rain down from the sky a destructive fire storm.[20]

    Biblical Representations: Other Riders have demonstrated to unleash creatures in the form of a plague found in biblical scriptures such as locusts.[citation needed]

    Dimensional Travel: They can traverse through different dimensions. Through the use of their mystical powers, they can travel to other realms without any complications.[citation needed]

    Vortex Creation: They can even construct portals that lead them to other places.[citation needed]

    Cloning: A sub-power to constructing various objects, they have the ability to craft duplicates of themselves. They will act similarly to their creator. When killed, they will burst into a puff of hellfire.[10]

    Spirit Absorption: By simply touching another individual possessing the Spirit, they can absorb its essence leaving the host paralyzed or killed by the effect.[21][2]

    Self-Size Size: They can increase their normal sizes to gigantic proportions making them a difficult target.[22]

    Size Alteration: Not only can they alter their own size, they can even change the size of other materials as well.[citation needed]

    Penance Ability: All forms of Spirits of Vengeance / Ghost Riders have an ability to strike penance on its victims. It can be in the form of a physical attack such as a fist or a piece of weaponry. One of the most known penance abilities is the Penance Stare, a traumatizing ability where it locks it's victim's eyes to theirs and incapacitates them physically, mentally, and spiritually.

    Starbrand has energy based powers on a virtually infinite scale due to possessing the Star Brand. Abilities he has manifested include

    Superhuman Strength: Starbrand possesses a incredible degree of superhuman strength allowing him to easily lift at least 50 tons.

    Self-sustaining Endurance: Starbrand's musculature generates less fatigue toxins, during physical activity, than the musculature of a regular human being. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him.

    Invulnerability: Starbrand possesses an incredible degree of superhuman durability, allowing him to withstand high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, powerful impact forces, exposure to temperature extremes and powerful energy blasts without being injured.

    Flight: Starbrand is able to defy gravity and fly. He has shown to be able to travel interstellar distances at faster-than-light speeds.

    Matter Manipulation: Starbrand is able to manipulate and alter matter and energy at a potentially quantum level. Starbrand has been shown to transmute and rebuild matter into different form at will.

    Energy Manipulation: Starbrand is able to generate and manipulate various forms of energy, allowing him to create destructive energy-blasts, and project near-indestructible force-fields. Through his energy-manipulating abilities, Starbrand is able to manipulate magical energies, allowing him to cast various powerful spells, and deflect mystical-attacks.

    Energy Discharge: Starbrand is able to generate extremely powerful energy-blasts capable of destroying entire planets. When killed, he can unleash this energy with enough force to kill a Beyonder.[10]

    Cosmic Form: When in extreme anger and rage, Starbrand has demonstrated the ability to transform his entire body into pure cosmic energy. While in his cosmic form, Starbrand has been able to alter his size and stature at will.

    Healing Powers: Starbrand is able to rapidly heal himself and others from any physical injury even allowing him to bring the deceased back to life. His healing capabilities allow him to heal broken bones, organs and limbs with relative ease.

    Telepathy: Starbrand has demonstrated powerful telepathic capabilities, He has demonstrated the ability to project his thoughts telepathically across great distances, and as well as potent hypnotic capabilities.

    Superhuman Perceptions: Starbrand can perceive the interaction of individual molecules and identify all lifeforms in his vicinity.

    Cosmic Senses: By absorbing cosmic energies, Starbrand possesses a degree of superhuman senses.

    Cosmic Awareness & Mystic Senses: Starbrand has the ability to detect or produce wormholes and other irregularities in space on a cosmic scale. He also has the ability to sense whenever someone is teleporting.

    Cosmic Vision: Starbrand can see through solid materials and clearly see things as far away as Earth's moon

    Cosmic Hearing: Starbrand can adjust his cosmic hearing to hear people talking next door or to the point of sensing Cosmic background radiation.

    Genius Level Intelligence: The power of the Star Brand augmented Conner's intelligence by incredible leaps and bounds. Under Nightmask's tutelage he was able to ascertain complex mathematical calculus with near utmost ease.

  • Divine Empowerment: After Marc was imbued with a sliver of Khonshu's power he displayed these powers:[113]

    Power Absorption: Employing a set of divine ankhs Moon Knight was able to absorb the mystical powers of the Iron Fist, the Sorcerer Supreme, Ghost Rider's Spirit of Vengeance, and was seemingly able to absorb the Starbrand and the Phoenix Force if he had been given the chance. This power seems limited as Moon Knight was unable to absorb Black Panther's powers due to the later's powers being embedded in his blood.[114]

    Necromancy: Moon Knight was able to control an entire army of undead mummies.[122][114]

    Lunakinesis: Moon Knight was able to control the universe's different moons and objects made out of them, which allowed him to take control of Mjolnir despite not being worthy.[114]

    Geokinesis: As most orbital astral bodies are comprised entirely out of mineral, rock and dead terrafirma, this indicates an underlying ability to control different earthen elements by sheer will.[114]

    Phase Transformation: After the Serpent War where he was jettisoned across time & space and back, and realizing his retention of Khonshu's power after seeing the world through a god's perception, Marc stepped through solid glass while transforming into his caped semblance, coming out the other side.[113]

    Moon Empowerment: Marc once mentioned that the supermoon feeds into the strength level of his abilities. Giving him enough power to best the likes of Earths greatest champions single handed.[114]

    Self Sustenance: Moon Knight can survive indefinitely without need of a breathable atmosphere.

  • Chi-Enhanced Physiology: Danny Rand possesses the power to harness the mystical spiritual energy, or chi, as a result of having defeated Shou-Lao the Undying in combat. After he plunged his fists into the dragon's molten heart, absorbing its chi, Rand gained the power of the Iron Fist, allowing him to focus his chi and enhance his natural abilities to extraordinary levels, thus branding himself with the dragon's mark on his chest.[4] Each Iron Fist throughout history has utilized the chi of Shou-Lao in different ways. Danny Rand has learned new techniques and new depths to his own abilities over time by learning from his predecessor, Orson Randall, as well as from reading the Book of the Iron Fist.[43]

    Chi Augmentation: Through concentration, Rand can harness his spiritual energy, or chi, to augment his physical and mental capabilities to enhanced levels. He initially could augment his physical prowess to the non-superhuman level of the finest possible human specimen;[72] however, after further study with the Book of the Iron Fist, he has since reached truly superhuman levels of physical enhancement.[73] It was stated his sense of self has grown ten thousand fold and his capabilities now posses infinite depth.[citation needed] He no longer tires from using his chi and is capable of using his powers for greater tasks, such as destroying a train with the iron fist punch as it collided with his attack at full speed,[47] healing himself from several external injuries,[74] and detoxifying unwittingly ingested poison in his body with his chi.[citation needed]

    Iron Fist Punch: By summoning his chi and focusing it into his hand, Danny can draw upon the superhuman energy derived from the heart of the mystic serpent Shou-Lao, and make his fist inhumanly powerful, as well as superhumanly resistant to injury and pain on a superhuman scale.[citation needed] This "iron fist" technique does not involve a physical transformation of any kind, simply a psychic channeling of concentrated natural energy.[citation needed] With his fist in this state, Rand can shatter wood and brick, rip through steel, and punch his opponents with extraordinary concussive force without sustaining injury to himself.[citation needed] The force of this technique has rendered incredibly durable superhumans such as the Colossus unconscious,[75] shatter Scorpion's tail,[citation needed] destroy Thunderball's Ball and Chain,[citation needed] as well as, punch through Ch'i Lin, who was barely affected by punches to the head from Luke Cage.[50] His fist is strong enough to bring down a H.A.M.M.E.R. Helicarrier with one strike,[76] and he also destroyed a nuclear train with one punch.[47] The act of summoning and using his chi for the Iron Fist technique used to mentally drains him after long periods of use;[citation needed] however, that is no longer the case.[citation needed]

    Peak Human Strength: Typically, Iron Fist possesses the pinnacle physical strength of a human man of his particular age, height, and build that engages in intense regular exercise.[citation needed] He possesses the peak level of strength a human can reach without being considered superhuman.[citation needed] With the use of his spiritual energy, Iron Fist is capable of augmenting his strength to incredible superhuman levels which limits are unknown, but he was able to go toe to toe with a being who easily manhandled the likes of Luke Cage,[citation needed] and bring down and break off a foot of a monster hundreds of feet tall with one strike.[citation needed]

    Peak Human Stamina: Iron Fist's musculature is enhanced to generate less fatigue toxins than the musculature of normal humans.[citation needed] He can exert himself physically at peak capacity for over an hour before fatigue begins to impair him.[citation needed]

    Peak Human Agility: Iron Fist's natural agility, balance, and bodily coordination are as honed as is humanly possible.[73]

    Chi-Enhanced Speed: Iron Fist is capable of running and moving at great speeds and is as naturally as fast as a human can be without being considered superhuman.[citation needed] Without the use of chi, he can run up to 35 mph.[73] Iron Fist can use his spiritual energy to augment his speed to superhuman such as when he was able to hit a large monster over a hundred feet tall, nearly a hundred times, in the span of a few seconds at speeds faster than the human eye could see.[citation needed]

    Chi-Enhanced Reflexes: Iron Fist's reaction time is enhanced to the point where it could be considered superhuman.[citation needed] His reflexes are so efficient that he can dodge point blank gun fire,[citation needed] catch arrows in mid flight,[citation needed] and has even been capable of snatching and tagging bullets out of the air, etc.[73]

    Chi-Enhanced Durability: The tissues of Iron Fist's body are harder than those of other humans.[citation needed] While still vulnerable to physical injury, Daniel is able to use his spiritual energy to augment his durability to vast superhuman levels.[77] Through focus and meditation, Danny can sustain himself for extended periods of time in extreme temperature environments.[78] He was even able to strike a train carrying "enough raw explosives to make the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima look like nothing more than a sparkler," and survive the explosion at point blank range, without any sign of harm.[47]

    Energy Absorption: At times, Rand has absorbed energy directed at himself and channeled it to augment his own power.[20][79]

    Environmental Adaptation: His entire body is oriented to combat, enabling him to adapt to any environment with minimal exposure.[73]

    Chi-Enhanced Senses: Danny's awareness has increased to new levels, though to what level it is unclear.[citation needed] His senses are so great he can hear the sweat running down the cheek of a person in another room,[73] and even with his back turned he is able to sense when a complete stranger is going to strike before they actually do.[80] He also has unusually keen eyesight, but it is unclear if it extends to a superhuman level.[73]

    Empathy: Rand has the ability to sense and read the emotions, feelings, and intentions of people and animals, as well as broadcast his own feelings in order to influence other people and/or animals emotions psionically.[80]

    Mind Meld: Iron Fist can use his power to temporarily fuse his consciousness with another person, resulting in a sharing of knowledge, emotions, and memories.[81]

    Chi-Enhanced Healing: If he sustains injury or illness, Iron Fist can focus his chi for the purposes of healing his injuries.[19] On the brink of death after a battle with Radion the Atomic Man, Daniel received a vision of Yu-Ti revealing that "the Iron Fist is not a weapon, but a force of will which could perform miracles including healing," saving his life.[19] By focusing enough he can even purge his own body of poison; however, Daniel experienced great pain in the process.[21] Recently he has proven capable of healing himself almost unconsciously and does not feel drained in doing so.[43] Rand can also channel this energy into other people, allowing them to heal more efficiency as well.[citation needed]

    Dimensional Travel: Under certain circumstances, his chi can be focused to create nexus points between dimensions.[81]

    Chi Manipulation: The Iron Fist grants Danny with many abilities that he has not yet mastered, such as channeling his chi into a ranged attack to increase its striking capabilities as concussive blasts.[citation needed] After obtaining the Book of the Iron Fist from Orson Randall, Rand has learned how to create various illusions and make his foes see what he wants them to see through the art of hypnotism.[73] Danny is also capable of detecting energy signatures,[citation needed] as well as tapping into energy fields, most notable the electromagnetic field.

  • Omega Effect: Darkseid wields a cosmic energy field called the "Omega Effect", which proves integral, as it is the core from which his other abilities manifest from. He can manipulate this powerful energy field to traverse time and space, among other abilities.

    Omega Beams: Darkseid can fire concentrated beams from his eyes which can lock on its target to ensure it never misses. He has pinpoint control over his Omega Beams, and his unerring aim allows it to travel in straight lines or bend, twist or curve around corners. The beams are powerful enough to harm Kryptonians,[12] destroy planets,[3] and are fast enough to catch speedsters.[12] Anything Darkseid destroys with them can be recreated with but a thought.[citation needed]

    Chronokinesis: Darkseid's gravitational pull was so strong that it warped time itself in the surrounding area. When John Constantine was trapped within it, he stated he lived days between each second from his perception.[31]

    Summoning: Darkseid has the unique ability to summon the Black Racer to aid him in battle. He also has complete control over the entity.[23]

    Telepathy: Darkseid is able to telepathically invade the minds of others, even while in a separate dimension.

    The user can project concentrated beams of energy for a potentially devastating amount of damage. The result of the beam could be concussive, dispersive or explosive, and depending on what the beam is composed of, it can possess a variety of abilities.

    The user can create and project bolts of energy and control the intensity/power of their projectiles, the bolts aren't weak but they aren't as powerful as a full powered attack. These bolts could be used to stun, burn, injure, or even to possibly penetrate/stab the enemy.

This ability allows the user to attack many foes at once and possibly destroy large area like villages.The amount of force and damage depends on factors such as the individual strength of the user or their power, and the specific techniques used. The same is true of the range, which depends not only on the previous factors but may also be impacted by environmental factors. For example, some kinds of energy may be able to pass through walls while others may not. Similarly, if the attack is a giant blast of thermal energy, a cold environment may shorten the range in a way that it would not had the attack been of kinetic energy.

    The user can create, manipulate, and destroy physical and ghostly undead, command dead souls, condemn them to torment, or steal the souls of the dead/dying to increase their legion of the undead.

    Users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. by undead forces or creatures, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able draw sustenance from the undead, or even slow or stop aging.

    User can summon the undead (both corporeal and incorporeal) from other worlds to help them fight.

    The user with this ability either is or can transform into a transcendent lich: an undead mage of god-like power. A transcendent lich is associated with death, the dead, spirits, dark magics, and necromancy, as well as being above all other liches. These types of liches were either undead deities or liches who have ascended so high after death that this was the natural outcome of their dark power, or these liches started out as regular liches that use to be human and ascended as high as they could through their craft, becoming transcendent beings.

    Users of this ability either is or can become a ghost of terrifying power. They possess the usual abilities that regular spirits have, but at a level that they cannot hope to reach. The user gains a greater variety of paranormal abilities, can control other ghosts, and rearrange or outright destroy the very concepts of the land of the living and the realm of the dead.

    The user with this ability is or able to transform into a transcendent undead entity; an necrotic entity with a divine and godly status with almighty feats.

    In folklore, the undead are dead corpses (zombies, ghouls and mummies) that are alive and moving (very sluggish and clumsy) while most are mythical living undead creations (vampires) that are alive and moving normal or otherwise, but incapable of perceiving their surroundings and feeding off of human flesh (zombies, ghouls and mummies), while incapable of perceiving their normal surrounding and feeding off of human blood (vampires) . They also have an irrational thinking process. They are often vicious when encountered, very strong, and impossible way to kill them by smash their head in any way.

    However, when in the state of transcendency, the user doesn't have those faults. The user is a god-like undead entity and supremely powerful out of all their species.

    The Transcendent Undead are the highest form of the undead. They are highest in statistics and condition most noticeably, such as speed, strength, durability, etc. and all senses are divine. The user can even gain dark magic.

  • The user is the physical manifestation/representation/personification/embodiment of water, thus they gain absolute control over water in all its forms in their universe.

    The user embodies and personifies the ocean, which allows them limitless control over the ocean and everything connected to it. The user can create tidal waves, sink islands, create water spouts and hurricanes, etc.

    Users become the embodiment of the natural forces of life originating/pertaining to water.

    The user has authority and control over the ocean, a place where sea monsters and even prisoners stay. The user can control the sea and storms as they see fit.

    The user has total dominion over aquatic life. This includes fish, whales, aquatic plants, coral, and cephalopods. They control them to do their bidding like, helping them during situations, using them against foes, using them to see locations and get information about a particular place, use them for flight.

    User can create, shape and manipulate water of an ancient primordial nature. As opposed to regular Water Manipulation, users of this power are deities, avatars, or living embodiment of water. As such, they can cause natural water effects such as tsunamis, monsoons, and whirlpools to manifest. In many cases users of this power will be able to override other forms of Water Manipulation as water is the domain of the user. Similar to other primordial elements, the raw potency and primeval nature of this power enables the user to easily overpower immunity to water based abilities.

    Users are able to infuse water into combat, whether it be releasing tidal waves, floods, water-based attacks through supernatural abilities (i.e. Water Manipulation, Water Magic), machines/technological body parts with the capability of releasing them, or simply utilizing a fighting style that focuses on delivering water-like attacks.

    Users can turn water into tools, objects, weapons and other items, create semi-living constructs and/or create structures/buildings of varying permanence and solidity. Users who have mastered this ability can use it for almost any situation, creating anything they need.

    The user has the power to increase the amounts of water.

    Users become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. when they come in contact with water, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able to draw sustenance from the water or even slow or stop aging.

    The user can control marine life, from creatures that dwell in shallow water, to the ones who dwell in the abyss. Users may use this ability offensively or defensively depending on the situation.

    The user is able to not only control marine/aquatic animals but also enhance their natural abilities, thus making them stronger, faster and more powerful than normal.

    The user can sense and/or understand the emotions of aquatic animals and vice versa.

    The user can control/read the minds of and communicate with marine animals.

  • Users become the physical manifestation or personification of strength. Users gain the ability feed off of the strength of others or themselves in order to get stronger. The user can also induce large amounts of strength to others whether physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.

    The user can surround themselves in an aura of strength, which allows them to become stronger, lift more, hit harder and more, making them a destructive force to be reckoned with.

    Users can generate limitless and unsurpassed physical strength, able to go toe-to-toe and even surpass the strongest of beings with nothing but the raw force of their physical blows. Any level of weight the user needs to lift or move is irrelevant as their body can emit limitless amount of force that can repel an object of any mass.

    With this ability, the user could travel massive distances in a single jump, unleash strikes of unparalleled might, obliterate massive life forms with one hit, cause destructive quakes by smashing the ground, shatter planetary systems with their fists, tear through/create space-time anomalies with their strength, etc. It should also be noted that they are immune to all powers that could manipulate, affect or rob them of their strength.

    Users are capable of enduring any sort of stress; being able to work without sustenance or rest indefinitely and withstand any sort of punishment inflicted upon them. They can operate near if not at their peak capabilities in any environment or circumstances, no matter how harsh or unforgiving, without any changes to their stamina or tenacity.

    Users possess a level of stamina and vitality at a maximum and limitless level, breaking all logical and natural boundaries while transcending the concept itself. Essentially, an absolute stamina entails never getting tired no matter the circumstance, including conceptual attacks, curses, or divine forces attempting to limit or weaken the user's endless and boundless stamina. Users would be able to perform infinite amount of actions and tasks without feeling the slightest bit of fatigue. In combat situations, users would be able to unleash their ultimate techniques and attacks continuingly and endlessly.

    In short, the user will never get tired.

    The user possesses an extreme and raw level of overwhelming power so tremendous and destructive which can make users by far the most powerful and mighty beings in their known worlds and by far the most dangerous to have ever been known because of their unrivaled might.

    The level of such power is so great that users can resist, smash through, and become immune to laws, natures, illness, etc., through sheer force and strength alone. Strong enough users may be able to negate durability and possibly defy logic itself.

    Users can detect/perceive or instantly and innately know a being's level of strength

    User has strength that increases over time with no limit and can keep gradually increasing their strength, essentially forever. This makes their potential for strength limitless and immeasurable, allowing them to perform any feat of strength in due time/eventually.

    The user of this super ability is able to manipulate the strength of oneself or others, turning a weakling into a very strong person and vice versa, or remove the strength of others or bestowal strength onto any other person.

    The user can enhance the physical strength of themselves or others' so that they can reach high level mastery and control instantaneously, even reach a level of strength that is usually beyond their limits alone. Users cannot steal or give power, only enhance the ones their targets already have.

    The user can steal or absorb the strength/physical power of others and add it to their own to increase their physical attributes. The user can drain away the level of strength an opponent possesses and render them physically weak temporarily or permanently depending on their level of skill. The user can also absorb the physical power from attacks to render them inert.

    The user can negate a person's strength, making them much weaker and not be able to lift, carry, throw, kick, punch, etc. anything with any part of their body.

    The user can reduce the target's strength and possibly their attack power.

    Users can enter a super strong form, allowing them to lift things that are many times their own weight and they can punch, or attack, with devastating force capable of destroying even the toughest of objects.

    The user embodies and personifies gravity, allowing limitless control over it. The user has absolute and limitless knowledge of gravity and anything that might relate to it as well as total undisputed lordship. In some cases, the user may become the prime source and derivation of gravity everywhere.

    The user has absolute control over gravity, allowing them to manipulate the gravity of everything in the universe/multiverse, not mattering whether they are physical locations, such as higher dimensions, heaven or hell, or metaphysical locations such as the dream world.

    They can create gravitational effects that can even affect incorporeal and metaphysical life forms who are normally at an alternate plane of existence, such as dream sprites, ghosts, and deities.

    Users can create, shape, move, control, interact and manipulate gravity, a natural phenomenon which all things with mass or energy — including planets, stars, galaxies, and light — attract (or gravitate toward) one another.

    Gravity manipulation would allow one to increase or decrease gravity, be it the environment or individual objects. Increasing gravity would cause everything in an area heavier, causing loose objects to propel to the ground, cause people immobilized or crushed depending on the gravity increase. When doing the exact opposite, decreasing gravity, the user could achieve a similar effect to Zero Gravity since all objects float upwards, or lift heavier objects with astonishing ease due to the decreased weight. With enough control and skill, one could attract or repel objects regardless of direction, achieving an effect akin to Telekinesis, ignore or defy the laws of gravity altogether, allowing one to walk on walls or ceilings or manipulate orbital fields on anything.

    Some users can control their gravitational field, allowing them to move faster, be more agile, conserve stamina, all by decreasing the pull of gravity on themselves, or fly. Master-level users would be able to induce zero gravity at will, generate black holes or exert power over the inverse of gravity, anti-gravity.

    Gravity manipulation is one of the most versatile in combat utility, allowing one to achieve offensive and defensive capabilities. Offensive uses include repelling enemies with force, kill them instantly, increasing gravity to crush or immobilize opponents, or hurling large objects at their enemy with astonishing force and speed by decreasing the pull of gravity on said objects. Defensive uses include creating a gravitational force field to repel all attacks (similar to anti-gravity) or anchoring oneself to the ground to tank heavy physical attacks or decreasing gravity of an attack to weaken its potency and speed.

    The most powerful users of gravity manipulation would be able to control the space-time continuum, warping reality, manipulating time and space. Some would be able to move entire planets, stars, or galaxies with their power.

    The user possesses an almighty, supreme and omnipotent mind, meaning the user has a mind on the same scale as an Omnipotent being if it were to have one. With the mind of the user being unfathomable and inconceivably powerful beyond any rule, logic or definition, they can do absolutely anything independently of it being logical, illogical or contradictory, bypassing anything and everything with their mind alone. As such their mind is beyond any other in Creation, making it so incomprehensible to other minds grasp it totally.

    Since Omnipotence is limitless and absolute, the mind of the user has the same aspects, attributes, traits, abilities, and everything beyond always in the absolute state, including metaphysicals such as psionics and psychics. The user's Knowledge is infinite and have their mind over Totality and the basest state of reality. All in all, the user is Truly Omnipotent, but focusing all of it on what we refer to and know as the Mind.

    User's mental attributes, capabilities and abilities are at the absolute peak, infinitely superior to that of all other beings in their universe, even those with the highest level of Supernatural Mind.

    The user possesses absolute mental capabilities, enabling them to accomplish feats that can’t be comprehended or replicated by practically every other beings. Some examples include being able to memorize everything/anything they have come across and recall it with infallible accuracy, no matter how complicated or incomprehensible, learn and master anything and apply it instantly with terrifying proficiency, have an infinite brain capacity capable of comprehending everything/anything that they have laid their eyes on and be highly resistant or immune to powers that affect and mess with the mind of a being.

    The user's "body" is formed from psionic forces and materialized thought making them immune to all forms of physical attacks. Due to being a psychic entity, the user would have psionic powers that would appear limitless maybe even god-like.

    The user embodies all forms of psionics. As such, they possess limitless control over all psionics, becoming nearly all-powerful and virtually unstoppable.

    The user can instantly learn and understand the workings and mechanics of anything, regardless of how simple or complex. They can comprehend the complexity and exactness of events, organisms, objects, subjects, fields, powers, etc. without the need of long-term or special education, or explanation.

    However, This does not necessarily translate into Enhanced, Supernatural or Absolute Intelligence as these mental feats are usually automatic and focused to a single trick, having little to do with deliberate cognitive thought.

    The user can adapt mentally to any situation/condition/event/environment, never being caught off guard in sudden changes, and instantly reacting to new situations. They instantly and automatically analyze and understand any environment or situation, and deduce the most optimal course of action, allowing them to make the right decision in all situations.

    The user can process information at incredible speeds, allowing them to analyze and come to conclusions at an unprecedented rate. Some users can even perceive everything at a faster time frame.

    The user possesses a mind/instincts that process the world in the most advanced, optimal and efficient manner possible. They are able to find the optimal solution to any/all problems, whether it is about civilization or nature, using the logical/illogical sense/strategies. They will find the right decision in any situation, multiplying their survivability and success rate, allowing them to overcome any hardship with minimal damage and pull victory despite all odds.

    Since this power is purely instinctual, the user always automatically makes the most optimal decision in any scenario. Making them achieve the best possible results in all fields of life and deal with events in the most efficient manner. They automatically seize all opportunities and make the most out of any situation.

    Civilization: Place the user near a fridge and they will consume what will keep them alive and most likely stay in top physical form. Place them in a boardroom and they will develop the ideas to generate profits. Place them in a courtroom and they will utilize eloquence to win a trial.

    Nature: Place the user in the middle of a jungle and they will access predatory type instincts and survive any and all form of conflict. Place the user in a war zone and the users can help win any type of war.

    User has the ability to learn and master anything. Unlike when copying or replicating something the user has to fully recognize and process the mechanics behind whatever they are choosing to learn.

    It is because of this "understanding" that users of this ability can usually take what they have learned and improve upon it. Copying and replication can leave you stuck at the level of whomever you copied from. Users of this ability grasp things for themselves and continue to evolve what they have learned.

    High level users may be able to even learn that which is scientifically or logically incoherent or even learn abilities, skills and knowledge that is incomprehensible to the human mind.

    The user can remember and recall everything that they have ever experienced, encountered or learned in their lifetime. The user needs only to read, hear or see something once and they will never forget it. They continue to learn for the rest of their lives and their brain will simply compress neural synapses to contain it all, allowing memory of every event, experience or bit of knowledge from birth to the present. Their mind is also entirely immune to Memory Manipulation, unless the ability is first negated or stolen.

    The user has telekinesis (from Greek: τηλε- "far off" and κίνηση "movement"); the ability to influence/manipulate matter or another aspect of a physical system with one's mind or through other non-physical means. Commonly, its most fundamental trait is to move and control objects (or to generate and apply physical force on a target, or potentially, an area) from a distance and/or without physical contact.

    As the ability is connected to the mind of the user, it can either be activated and controlled through conscious effort and concentration, through willpower and emotion of a particular level of intensity, or through achieving a state of discipline and serenity. In some cases, the ability can respond to the user’s thoughts and ideas, imagination, desires or belief in their abilities, making it far easier to activate but potentially more challenging to control, especially during moments of stress, rendering it a liability or even an unintended hazard in certain scenarios. Moreover, these aspects of the user's mind and mental capacity at large can potentially affect the accuracy, precision, range, and strength of their ability and the subsequent limitations of its intuitiveness, usability, and reliability in different situations. Alternatively, the extent of the ability can be so immense as to allow for the user to passively affect matter in a variety of ways with their presence alone or guide their power through instinct or even some form of intuition or extrasensory perception rather than physical senses, conscious thought, will and feeling, or any properly refined skill.

    Telekinesis is one of the bases of many superpowers based on "controlling/manipulating." It may evolve to the point that a Telekinetic can do anything at a subatomic, particle, and universal level. At its most advanced levels, its influence can expand to affect facets of reality other than matter, namely space, and time.

    Users can control the purest form of telekinesis, the generation and manipulation of telekinetic force itself. Consequently, the potential applications are much fewer and more limited than Telekinesis, but what is often lost in subtlety, precision, and dexterity is gained in sheer power. Thus, users cannot perform complex telekinetic operations, like manipulating matter and energy at an atomic level, limited to more basic applications. However, they are served with 'overwhelming power.'

    For example, users can crush heavily armored vehicles into tiny balls or rip them to shreds in an instant, manipulate and control massive objects, and unleash telekinetic blasts strong enough to eliminate entire armies. They could casually repel massive attacks and instantly erect an impregnable and self-repairing telekinetic force field. They could even build a vast telekinetic war machine around themselves for intense and prolonged battles or create hordes of telekinetic shadows that will act as extensions of themselves on the battlefield. With their overwhelming telekinetic force, users can escape the laws of reality and distort space-time.

    Users of telepathic force have the potential to use a very strong form of telepathy, using the telepathic energy to bring form to TP Force and use it to battle, other opponents. Once the user uses TP, the opponent's mind is instantly under their control, meaning the user can do anything they want to their opponent.

    Users are powerful enough that they can also use their TP Force on non-living things such as machines, golems, etc., and other highly advanced species. Users are proven to be so powerful that their power generates form and can be blasted onto even the galactic levels, leading to one controlling anyone and anything under their power.

    User can manipulate the mind, the mechanism of proceeding information and set of immaterial facilities that are linked to it. They can create, control, customise, negate and otherwise fashion parts and functions of mind as perception, desires, thoughts, beliefs, memories, attention, personality, behaviour and intelligence in verity of ways. Beneficially, this ability can be used to unlock one's inner potential, bestow talents and skills, improve mental capacity. Destructively, this power may shatter minds, grant diversity of mental disorders and take over others. Either way, users possess outstanding power that make them force to be reckoned with.

    Users can create, shape and manipulate illusions/hallucinations, causing targets to see, hear, touch, smell, and/or taste things which do not actually exist or cause them to perceive things differently from what they truly are. Some users can create complex and detailed worlds or place a target within a variety of simulated conditions and circumstances, while others may be able to only alter the way they or the target are perceived. As such, illusions can either exist solely within the physical or mental perceptions of usually organic and sentient targets, or as external projections occupying material space, like holograms and mirages.

    Additionally, these illusions can even be powerful and realistic enough to become tangibly solid and physically interact with the target, their environment or, in extreme cases, affect reality itself rather than simply simulating Reality Warping.

  • The user can never be moved by an external physical force, but may freely position themselves.

    The user can manipulate the stillness of anything. With this power, the user can induce stillness, and they can make so physical forces and inertia of whatever is being manipulated can be made hard to, or even impossible to move because they are rendered to remain still.

    The user become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. from stillness, possibly unlocking abilities related to the affinity and enhancing the existing powers. Some users may be able draw sustenance from the fire or even slow or stop aging. This can make either the user, their objects, their allies or their powers stronger.

    The user can induce stillness onto anything, causing them to stop moving or be kept from moving.

    The user can negate momentum, the property that determines how hard it is to stop an object. With this power, the user can change directing by shifting their momentum without having to overcome it, and they can stop in mid-air or on the ground suddenly. They can also ignore momentum of other objects and themselves, which allows them to not take damage from hitting something and not be pushed back a distance. They can also partially ignore momentum to damage something but not make it move and vice versa.

    The user can negate inertia, allowing extraordinary feats of agility, including turning on a dime and moving around tight corners even at high speed without losing speed or acceleration and/or deceleration to top speed or at zero speed instantly. Moving oneself or a target will take very little effort/force.

    The user can reduce the speed of objects/organisms to the point of them becoming immobile. This produces similar effects to time stopping, and the user can freeze specific targets, parts of a target, or immobilize the molecules within their surroundings. As with time-stop, the consciousness of an affected organism is immobilized, which causes them to be unaware of any event that transpired while the user had frozen them. But, unlike the time-stopping power, the timeline or the space-time arround is not immobilized, only matter is stopped.

    The user can negate acceleration and/or its effects, making it so that the user can do incredible feats of motion or cause others to be unable to accelerate (change speed or direction), which can cause problems.

    The user can decelerate themselves from high speeds, allowing themselves to stop on a dime easily or slow down to a slower speed quickly.

    The user can slow time down to various degrees while being able to move normally, either slowing time for a certain target or affecting everything but the user. They can slow down opponents to avoid attacks and dampen movements.

    User can stop time while being unaffected themselves, or may also allow others to be unaffected. If the user moves before this ability ceases, it would appear to everyone that the user teleported.

    The user can Negate and prevent users of Enhanced Speed or any other type of speed and its variations from moving, leaving them trapped where they are.

    The user can steal the motion or momentum from objects or people to reduce their speed and potentially stop them. This ability also allows the user to enhance their own movements by compounding the stolen kinetic energy with their own.

    The user can be immune to any speed/velocity based power, such as draining of speed, speed theft, cancellation of speed as well as speed dampening forces such as friction.

    The user can ignore the acceleration and the physical laws and effects associated with it.

    The user can generate a field that absorbs the kinetic energy of everything inside of it, causing everything Inside the field to either slow down or stop. It can even be done to drain the kinetic energy of particles, causing the temperature inside the field to drop to near-Absolute Zero.

    The user can absorb kinetic energy, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etc., either temporarily or permanently.

    The user can increase gravity causing various effects.

    The user can drastically increase the gravity in a given area, making moving or even standing difficult for anyone in it, possibly causing damage to the targeted area/targets, prompting the ground to crack and cave in, crushing the targets.

    The user can manipulate density, which is defined as mass per unit of volume. This allows them to alter solidity, change the size of substances, create or destroy matter/mass in a volume, change inertial resistance (mass), make things intangible, either strengthen or weaken gravity, concentrate or expand matter, or create pressure differences in a fluid (gas, liquid, plasma) to induce a current and possibly use it to move solids.
