"Wakeup!" The roar of Milo Archer's voice resonated in the once dormant subconscious of Aaron, spurring him to life. Yet to those outside his mind his body lie motionless, simply maintaining the necessary functions to sustain life such as drawing breath, and pumping blood through the heart and veins.
"WHAT?! I haven't slept in a week because of you and your constant nagging about training! Now when I finally get a chance for some well earned rest you RUIN it. What could you possibly want from me now?" Within Aaron's subconscious the two stood facing one another, Milo's rather large and imposing figure towering over the boy, whose lean muscular stature indicated a high level of athletic capability. Aaron was no slouch but he was still Milo's lesser physically.
"What could I want? Well, I would enjoy ridiculing you for suffering such a grueling defeat at the hands of what I thought to be a lesser opponent. All the power held in your hands squandered. How could you be bested by toxins? You who's been trained to manipulate chi to not only bolster their physical attributes but to provide support where necessary. You can run for miles without the use of oxygen yet you can't purge your body of venom? Not only that, what made you think that technique was a viable option? You can barely control the lightning aura and you decide to implement it at your weakest? Pathetic. I--" Throughout the entire speech Aaron used his hands in a mimicking gesture. The moment the Keijijo Kaze recognized his protege disrespect Aaron ceased action, averting Milo's militant gaze. "Very well. You believe my words to be nonsense? Then you shall benefit from my council no longer. The silence you wish for has been granted. I will offer my counsel only when requested and only if I see fit to accommodate the request."
A quick fist pump was followed by a smile from Aaron as the visual of Milo faded. Subsequently after, Aaron's eyes shot open and his head jerked to the side. A young girl sat beside him, shotgun in hand. Aaron, still smiling, hopped to his feet and began to stretch a bit, feeling surprisingly well rested. The wounds he'd suffered had been healed, no doubt due to his other half channeling chi through his chakras whilst he slept. "Hey, you got anything to eat? I'm starving!" Aaron said to the girl, unsure if she was just a heavily armed maid or not.
