@Edamame:   They never say.  It's implied that Sidious set him up, but they never come right out and say so.  There's not a whole lot known about him.

Can birds really do that with such a rage?  Death of a Ghost Hunter?  How is it realistic, if I may ask? "

That's just it, the movie progresses so slowly, you are completely submerged, and yes, it is utterly realistic.  People have compared the Africanized bee issue to The Birds, giving it an even larger element of realism.  You see birds divebombing folks, other birds, animals, all the time.  This takes it one step further.

Death of a Ghost Hunter begins like any other documentary style ghost hunter type reality show, with dramatic flashbacks spliced in for dramatic effect.  The actors are believable, and the effects are very subtle.  If you know the story of the Amityville house, it's very easy to fall for the suspension of disbelief.  They begin with the standard "that can be debunked by such and such" happenings, and then become progressively more intense.

Throw in the increasingly crazy fundie, and you've got a good, solid creepy film.  And I was not exaggerating.  I actually went onto the intartubes to look up whether the movie was real or not, like the aforementioned Amityville.  It was nowhere on the scale of Amity (no bleeding walls or voices telling them to get out), and it's style of presentation made it very believable as a "being based on a true story" type of thing.

Syfo-Dyas (which it's interesting Qui Gonn says "He died ten years ago" and years later, Obi-Wan says "He died ten years ago"...yay Lucas)  was a member of the Jedi Council that Dooku impersonated when he went to Kamino.  Also, with his ability to cloak himself in the Dark Side, and Sidious giving him information, he most likely used the stolen identity to erase the Jedi records of the planet.

Wal-Mart.  You hide in the storm bunker by [Insert Whenever Time Is Safe Here] and pillage the store the rest of the time.

Second, the mall.  They have Starbucks.  I may get turned into a brain eating bag of rotting flesh, but I'm gonna have a venti caramel macchiatto with three raw sugars before I go.

@DeathpooltheT1000:   Sidious turned Vader into that badarse, AND had how many clones of himself as a sort of permanent redundancy system?  AND got Luke to apprentice to him while he was trying out his new body?

Oh, yeah, and that whole destabilizing a SYSTEM WIDE government and taking over.

Badarse.  Total badarse.

@Edamame:  Plageuis was definitely up there, in the top five.

Revan was aiight, and I say that being the total, utter, and complete KoTOR fan that I am.  Sidious never would have gotten taken out the way Revan was.

Um...this.

I bow to you, my evil master.

Although I'm gonna have to kill you later.  Nothing personal.

Disappointing.  If I hear next that Downey and Bale aren't in it, I'm sensing a "Wait Until DVD" moment.

Okay, from Marvel President Feige:

"We have made the decision to not bring Ed Norton back to portray the title role of Bruce Banner in the Avengers," wrote Feige. "Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members. The Avengers demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H, Chris E, Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfills these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks."

This is quite possibly the most spun piece of BS I've heard.  Norton was the REASON The Incredible Hulk was made.  He loves the character, consulted heavily with Marvel execs on the movie, and respects the canon, the character, and the storyline.  Norton met with Whedon and immediately cleared his filming schedule to film The Avengers.

They don't want Norton for some reason.  Be damned if I know what it is.

I, as a brave, empowered, strong woman, am TOTALLY behind the Gambit Appreciation idea.
