The sun was peeking over the tops of the German Alps, as morning finally came. Buried deep under the mountain, in an old hidden military bunker, undiscovered since the second World War, sat the vampire Tobias Leitner. In his pale, white hands, he fondled his latest acquisition. A large octagon shaped gem, always changing in colour, and sparkled exquisitely in the faint light of the old base. But the beauty of the gem was not his reason for holding this trinket above the thousands of other treasures hoarded away in the bunker. Tobias could feel the energies of the gem radiating out of it. An untapped power source, of seemingly limitless energies. But the power felt fragmented, and spread out. As though this were but one of many pieces.
Tobias walked down the dark cemented hallway, as thoughts of the gem raced through his mind. The bunker was not his usual standand of living, but the castle he had once called home was destroyed by the ICE Dragon, and friend of his mortal enemy, Andferne, months ago. The downgrade of living quarters however, were offset by what had come with the bunker. The maze of tunnels were designed to get anyone who was unfamiliar lost, thus making a fun game of cat and mouse with mortals who would stumble into the underground base, and the defences left in the base, far ahead of their time, were still operational. What had really drawn in the vampire, however, was the treasures hidden deep in the tunnels. Nazi treasures, looted from all over Europe, and thought long lost, littered the center of the base. Gold, jewelery, masterpieces, and other treasures thought destroyed by the Third Reich in the losing days of the war as the Allied Forces freed Europe, all for him, and no one else.Tobias took a seat in the massive throne, surrounded by riches, still examining the mystical gem, when his thoughts were interrupted by a light hissing.
"ICE Dragons are approaching." hissed a voice from a demonic statue. Tobias looked at the gem, and almost knew it had some connection to the heroes.
"Let them come."
